- l'agglutination de fibres entre les zones imperméabilisées préalablement à l'introduction du ruban permet de produire une couche homogène d'épaisseur constante et conduit à une grande cohésion des fibres déposées contre la forme ronde avant introduction du ruban. Or cette pression peut, quand il y a des éléments en relief sur la forme ronde, risquer de marquer la toile leveuse, ou encore risquer d'affaisser les reliefs quand ils se présentent sous forme d'embossages, ce qui peut conduire à devoir prévoir sur la forme ronde des renforts pour ceux-ci. Avec des éléments peu ou pas saillants conformes à l'invention, on supprime ce risque et ce besoin de renfort mécanique.
