Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein wärmeerzeugendes Element einer Heizvorrichtung zur Lufterwärmung umfassend wenigstens ein PTC-Element (6) und an gegenüberliegenden Seitenflächen des PTC-Elementes (6) anliegende elektrische Leiterbahnen (4). Ein hinsichtlich der Sicherheit gegen elektrische Überschläge verbessertes wärmeerzeugendes Element wird mit der vorliegenden Erfindung dadurch geschaffen, dass die beiden elektrischen Leiterbahnen (4) außenseitig von einer nicht leitenden Isolierschicht (8) umgeben sind. Die Erfindung verbessert ferner eine Heizvorrichtung zur Lufterwärmung mit mehreren wärmeerzeugenden Elementen (56) umfassend wenigstens ein PTC-Element (6) und an gegenüberliegenden Seitenflächen des PTC-Elementes (6) anliegende elektrische Leiterbahnen (4) und mehreren in parallelen Schichten angeordneten wärmeabgebenden Elementen (56), die an gegenüberliegenden Seiten des wärmeerzeugenden Elementes (56) angelegt gehalten sind. Die wärmeabgebenden Elemente sind gemäß der Erfindung im Wesentlichen potentialfrei und mit höherer Sicherheit gegenüber elektrischen Überschlägen dadurch gesichert, dass die wärmeabgebenden Elemente (56) unter Zwischenlage jeweils einer Isolierschicht (8) an den gegenüberliegenden Seiten des wärmeerzeugenden Elementes (60) anliegen (Fig. 3). The present invention relates to a heat-generating element of a heater for air heating comprising at least one PTC element (6) and on opposite side surfaces of the PTC element (6) adjacent electrical conductor tracks (4). An improved in terms of security against electrical flashovers heat generating element is provided with the present invention in that the two electrical conductors (4) on the outside by a non-conductive insulating layer (8) are surrounded. The invention further improves a heating device for air heating with a plurality of heat-generating elements (56) comprising at least one PTC element (6) and on opposite side surfaces of the PTC element (6) voltage applied electrical conductors (4) and a plurality of arranged in parallel layers heat-emitting elements ( 56) held on opposite sides of the heat generating element (56). The heat-emitting elements according to the invention are substantially potential-free and secured with greater security against electrical flashovers by the heat-emitting elements (56) interposing in each case an insulating layer (8) on the opposite sides of the heat-generating element (60) abut (Fig ).
