Claims (28)

  1. A device for accommodating ceramic heating elements in a heating device, having an insulating frame (1) and at least one contact plate (2) held thereby, on which contact plate the heating elements may be placed, characterised in that the contact plate (2) and the frame (1) are joined together non-positively.
  2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the contact plate (2) is completely surrounded tightly by the frame (1) at least over a limited longitudinal portion thereof.
  3. A device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the contact plate (2) is held over the majority of its length in grooves (1.2) of the frame (1) formed in longitudinal struts (1.1).
  4. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the contact plate (2) is additionally held form-fittingly in the frame (1).
  5. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the frame comprises crossbars (1.4) on one side of the contact plate (2), between which crossbars the heating elements may be inserted.
  6. A device according to claim 3 or claim 5, characterised in that the longitudinal struts (1.1) and crossbars (1.4) of the frame (1) surrounding the recesses accommodating the heating elements take the form of inwardly directed lugs (4) for form-fitting mounting of the heating elements.
  7. A device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that on the frame (1) bent-out portions (7) projecting beyond the narrow side are provided for force-locking fixing of the frame in a special section tube.
  8. A device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the contact plate (2) projects beyond the frame (1) at least at one end face.
  9. A device according to claim 8, characterised in that the contact plate (2) projects beyond the frame (1) at precisely one end face.
  10. A device according to claim 8 or claim 9, characterised in that the projecting end(s) of the contact plate (2) take the form of connecting lugs (2.1).
  11. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the frame (1) consists of one of the following materials or a composite of at least two thereof: plastic, polymer ceramic, ceramic applied by injection moulding.
  12. A device according to claim 11, characterised in that the frame (1) is completely closed on a side of the contact plate (2) remote from a receiving side for the heating elements and consequently the contact plate (2) is provided with a cover (1 a) covering it completely.
  13. A device according to claim 11 or claim 12, characterised in that the contact plate (2) is covered on its side remote from the receiving side for the heating elements by a covering layer (1 a) of polymer ceramic or ceramic, while the rest of the frame (1) consists of plastic or polymer ceramic.
  14. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterised by at least one insulating layer applied on a side of the contact plate (2) remote from the receiving side for the heating elements.
  15. A device according to claim 14, characterised in that the retaining elements (1) are formed by projections pressed out of the plane of the contact plate (2).
  16. A device according to claim 14, characterised in that the retaining elements (1) are formed by an insulating frame.
  17. A device according to any one of claims 14 to 16, characterised in that the insulating layer (1 a) consists of one of the following materials or a composite of at least two thereof: plastic, polymer ceramic, ceramic applied by injection moulding.
  18. A device according to claim 16 or claim 17, characterised in that the frame consists of one of the following materials or a composite of at least two thereof: plastic, polymer ceramic, ceramic applied by injection moulding.
  19. A device according to any one of claims 16 to 18, characterised in that the contact plate (2) is covered on its side remote from the receiving side for the heating elements by a covering layer (1 a) of polymer ceramic or ceramic, while the rest of the frame (1) consists of plastic or polymer ceramic.
  20. A device according to any one of claims 16 to 19, characterised by one or more of the characterising features of claims 2 to 10.
  21. A heating device with an electrically conductive special section tube and a holding device according to any one of claims 1 to 20 pushed therein, accommodating ceramic heating elements (8) in recesses (3) between longitudinal struts (1.1) and crossbars (1.4) and providing an insulating strip (9) on the side of the contact plate (2) remote from the heating elements (8).
  22. A heating register having a plurality of heating devices (11) according to claim 21 held parallel and at a distance from one another by retaining webs (12).
  23. A method of producing a device for accommodating ceramic heating elements in a heating device, characterised in that, as retaining elements for the heating elements, a frame (1) accommodating the contact plate (2) force-lockingly is applied thereto by injection moulding around or being sprayed on or around the contact plate (2).
  24. A method according to claim 23, characterised in that the frame is applied from one of the following materials: plastic, polymer ceramic, ceramic.
  25. A method according to claim 24, characterised in that ceramic is sprayed on by means of an atmospheric plasma spraying process.
  26. A method according to any one of claims 23 to 25, characterised in that plastic ceramic is injection moulded or polymer ceramic is sprayed onto one side of the contact plate (2) and the rest of the frame is provided by injection moulding around with plastic or polymer ceramic.
  27. A method according to any one of claims 23 to 26, characterised in that a layer of the following materials is injection moulded or sprayed at least onto a side of a contact plate remote from a receiving side for the heating elements: plastic, polymer ceramic, ceramic.
  28. A method according to claim 27, characterised in that, prior to application of the insulating layer, projections are pressed out of the plane of the contact plate to the side of the same which accommodates heating elements.
