Radial einwärts des Klemmbereichs 3, 4 erweitert sich der Klemmkanal, um einen Aufnahmeraum und eine Führung für die Führungsabschnitte 12 und 16 zu bilden. Die Führung ist, wie bereits gesagt, eine Linearführung längs der Bewegungsachse T. Gegen Bewegungen in Achsrichtung des Druckzylinders 1 sind die Klemmglieder 11 und 15 ebenfalls gesichert. Der Führung dient eine radial äußere Führung 5 und eine radial innere Führung 6, die jeweils als plane Führungsflächen gebildet sind. Die äußere Führung 5 übernimmt des Weiteren die Funktion einer Stützfläche, an der unmittelbar das Klemmglied 11 und über das Klemmglied 11 auch das weitere Klemmglied 15 in eine Richtung parallel zu den geklemmten Klemmflanschen 8a und 8b abgestützt sind. Hierdurch wird sichergestellt, dass in den beiden Klemmspalten jeweils nur die Spannkraft der Spanneinrichtung 19 wirken kann. Die mittels der Spanneinrichtung 19 aufgebrachte Spannkraft wird somit auch in Betrieb, d. h. bei Drehung des Druckzylinders 1 nicht durch die Fliehkraft unterstützt. Claims (24)
- A printing cylinder, comprising:a) a clamping channel (3-6);b) a clamping member (11) and a leading counter area (3), against which the clamping member (11) is elastically tensed, in the clamping channel (3-6);c) an additional clamping member (15) and a trailing counter area (4), against which the additional clamping member (15) is elastically tensed, in the clamping channel (3-6);d) wherein a leading clamping flange (8a) of a printing cylinder covering (8), which is angled in a dimensionally stable way and substantially at a right angle, can be clamped between the clamping member (11) and the leading counter area (3); ande) wherein a trailing clamping flange (8b) of the same or another printing cylinder covering (8), which is angled in a dimensionally stable way and substantially at a right angle, can be clamped between the additional clamping member (15) and the trailing counter area (4);
characterised in thatf) the clamping members (11, 15) can each be moved back and forth at a right angle to a radial (R) onto the rotational axis of the printing cylinder (1) and are linearly guided in the clamping channel (3-6) during this movement. - The printing cylinder according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the centre of gravity of the clamping member (11) cannot be moved parallel to the clamping flange (8a).
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a guide (5, 6) which movably guides the clamping member (11) at least substantially at a right angle to a radial (R) which extends from the rotational axis of the printing cylinder, through an opening of the clamping channel.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a guide (5, 6) which linearly guides the clamping member (11).
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the clamping member (11) and the leading counter area (3) clamp the clamping flange (8a; 8b), free of bending forces.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the leading counter area (3) is formed by a planar side wall of the clamping channel (3-6) which points at least substantially parallel to a radial (R) onto the rotational axis of the printing cylinder (2).
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the leading clamping flange (8a) is planar, at least in the region which has clamping contact with the clamping member (11).
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the clamping member (11) comprises a guiding portion (12) and a clamping portion (13) which projects, in the manner of a finger in its cross-section, from the guiding portion (12) towards an opening of the clamping channel (3-6), and in that a guide (5, 6) is formed in the clamping channel (3-6) and guides the guiding portion (12) in a transverse direction with respect to the clamping flange (8a), such that the clamping portion (13) can be moved towards the leading counter area (3) and away from the leading counter area (3).
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a tensing means (19) which exerts an elasticity force on the clamping member (11) which presses the clamping member (11) against the clamping flange (8a).
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the trailing clamping flange (8b) is planar, at least in the region which has clamping contact with a clamping member (15) in the same or in another clamping channel (3-6).
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the tensing means (19) is supported on the clamping member (11) in one direction and on the additional clamping member (15) in the opposite direction.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the tensing means (19) is arranged between the clamping members (11, 15).
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the clamping members (11, 15) linearly guide each other.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the clamping members (11, 15) each comprise at least one clamping portion (13;17) which contacts the assigned clamping flange (8a; 8b), and in that the at least one clamping portion (13) of the clamping member (11) and the at least one clamping portion (17) of the additional clamping member (15) are arranged next to each other in the axial direction of the printing cylinder (2) and at least partially overlap each other in the circumferential direction.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein a printing cylinder covering is arranged on the circumference of the printing cylinder, the leading clamping flange (8a) of the printing cylinder covering (8) is clamped between the clamping member (11) and the leading counter area (3), and the trailing clamping flange (8b) of the same or another printing cylinder covering (8) is clamped between the additional clamping member (15) and the trailing counter area (4), wherein the printing cylinder covering comprises a leading clamping flange (8a) which is angled in a dimensionally stable way and a trailing clamping flange (8b) which is angled in a dimensionally stable way, and the clamping flanges (8a, 8b) are identically shaped and each enclose an angle (α; α - β) which is at least substantially a right angle with a connecting region of the printing cylinder covering (8), wherein the angle (α; α - β) is measured between the respectively connecting region of the printing cylinder covering (8) and a tangent onto the free end of the respective clamping flange (8a, 8b).
- The printing cylinder according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the angle (α; α - β) measures at least 75° and at most 105°.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of claims 15 and 16, characterised in that the clamping flanges (8a, 8b) are shaped to be round or preferably polygonal in relation to the respectively connecting region of the printing cylinder covering (8) and concave all over.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of claims 15 to 17, characterised in that the clamping flanges (8a, 8b) are angled several times, preferably twice, and respectively towards an underside of the printing cylinder covering (8).
- The printing cylinder according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the clamping flanges (8a, 8b) each comprise an inner flange portion which forms an edge with the respectively connecting region of the printing cylinder covering (8) and encloses an angle of at least 80° and at most 110°.
- The printing cylinder according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the clamping flanges (8a, 8b) each comprise a second flange portion which is angled away from the respective inner flange portion by at least 5° and at most 20°.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of claims 1 to 14, wherein a printing cylinder covering is arranged on the circumference of the printing cylinder, the leading clamping flange (8a) of the printing cylinder covering (8) is clamped between the clamping member (11) and the leading counter area (3), and the trailing clamping flange (8b) of the same or another printing cylinder covering (8) is clamped between the additional clamping member (15) and the trailing counter area (4), wherein a leading end of the printing cylinder covering comprises a planar leading clamping flange (8a) which is angled in a dimensionally stable way and at least substantially at a right angle, and a trailing end of the printing cylinder covering comprises a planar trailing clamping flange (8b) which is angled in a dimensionally stable way and at least substantially at a right angle or at an obtuse angle.
- The printing cylinder according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the leading clamping flange (8a) and the trailing clamping flange (8b) are identically shaped.
- The printing cylinder according to any one of claims 15 to 22, characterised in that the leading clamping flange (8a) and the trailing clamping flange (8b) each have a length (A; A, B) of at most 15 mm, as measured to an edge about which the respective clamping flange (8a; 8b) is angled.
- The printing cylinder (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 14, wherein a printing cylinder covering is arranged on the circumference of the printing cylinder, the leading clamping flange (8a) of the printing cylinder covering (8) is clamped between the clamping member (11) and the leading counter area (3), and the trailing clamping flange (8b) of the same or another printing cylinder covering (8) is clamped between the additional clamping member (15) and the trailing counter area (4), wherein a leading end and a trailing end of the printing cylinder covering each form a planar clamping flange (8a, 8b) which is angled in a dimensionally stable way, for clamping in one clamping channel (3-6) of the printing cylinder (2) only or each in one clamping channel (3-6) of the printing cylinder (2), wherein the leading clamping flange (8a) is angled at least substantially at a right angle.
