- the crest longitudinal edge 20 is formed slotted (slot 21), wherein the distance D of the two ends 22 of the slots 21 form a Distanzhow.
- a bending relief 23 in the form of a bead 24 is provided, which makes it possible in a simple manner and in a defined manner to bend one region 25 or 26 away from the second longitudinal limb 18, so that these extend at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the rail 13.
- the area 25 is not bent; in the lower part of this figure, the region 26 has its bent position.
- the FIG. 3 shows the areas 25 and 26 each in the bent position. It can be seen that the distance dimension D is formed between the bent regions 25 and 26. Due to the bent portions 25 and 26 extends the first longitudinal leg 17 beyond the distance dimension D in both end regions of the rail 13 also.
- the respective projecting area is marked as support area 27 or 28.
- FIG. 1 When installing the roof window is-accordingly FIG. 1 - First, the lower support bar 10 attached to the roof 1. Subsequently, the two rails 13 and 14 are used so that they are supported with the areas 26 on the upper inner side of the support bar 10. Since the rails 13 and 14 are formed as L-rails 16, these cover the end portions of the broken battens 13 due to their open profile structure.
- the first longitudinal leg 17 covers the top of the end portions of the broken roof battens 3 and the second longitudinal leg 18 is the end faces 8 of interrupted roof battens 3 opposite.
- the upper support bar 11 is mounted by placing them on the upper side of the auxiliary slats 6 and against the areas 25 of the rails 13, 14 and then secured with appropriate fasteners, such as nails or the like.

- the regions 25 and the regions 26 of the two profiled rails 13, 14 point towards one another, so that a very good corner seal of the roof cut-out 2 is achieved.
- FIG. 1 is the right side the already assembled position of the rail 14 shown.
- On the left side of the FIG. 1 is the rail 13 not yet fully assembled, it is lowered according to the arrows 31 and then secured accordingly.
- FIG. 4 shows -in section view the roof opening 2, which serves to receive the roof window, not shown, in the roof 1.
- the roof 1 has roof tiles 32, which are supported by the roof battens 3. It can be seen that the underlay 9 is turned around from the inside to the outside over the lower support bar 10 and the upper support bar 11 and the end is fastened in each case with an adhesive tape 33 on the upper side of the respective support bar 10 or 11. Above the roof cutout 2 there is also a Wasserabweisrinne 34, which is incorporated into the Unterspannbahn 9.
- the assembly of the canopy installation device 12 is explained in more detail. From the FIG. 5 it can be seen that the underlay 9 is cut along the dashed lines. The cutting edge has in the side regions at a distance a to the respective inner side of the auxiliary slats 6 and the end faces 8 of the broken battens 3. According to FIG. 6 Be areas of the underlay 9 from the inside to the outside around the lower support bar 10 and upper support bar 11 is placed. In FIG. 5 the two battens 10 and 11 are already spaced from each other in the desired distance dimension D attached to the roof. The assembly can, as already mentioned above, take place by means of the profile rails 13, 14.

If this is done, then - according to FIG. 7 - The assembly of the rails 13 and 14 performed. In this case, the respective region of the underlayment 9 is clamped between the support bar 10 and the slat systems 30 or the slat 11 and the slat systems 29. This situation is clearly in the enlargement of the FIG. 8 recognizable. Since the rails 13, 14 are delivered with not yet bent areas 25, 26, it is necessary on the construction site, these bends according to the enlargement of FIG. 7 to create. The turn-off takes place - facilitated by the beads 24 - manually.
- the underlay sheet 9 is slotted in the shape of a trough and the water deflector rail 34 is partially inserted into the slot. Water coming from the upper roof now strikes the Wasserabweisrinne 34 and is therefore guided past the side of the roof window.
- FIG. 8 From the FIG. 8 It can also be seen that on the outer sides of the longitudinal legs 18 of the rails 13, 14 double-sided adhesive tape 35 is applied, with the - according to the enlargement of the FIG. 8 - The rooftop 2 superior strips of underlay 9 is glued. Finally, then - accordingly FIG. 9 - The rooftop windows 36 are installed in the roof panel 2. This is then done accordingly FIG. 10 - The waterproofing of the residential roof window opposite the outer roof skin.
- the invention is characterized - according to the above - in particular by the side rails 15, which are preferably formed as aluminum angle (L-profiles). They are longer than the distance between the lower and the upper batten 10, 11 and slotted on both sides in the angle bend to the distance D.
- the preferably provided bending relief 23 allows the bending of the slat systems 29, 30.
- the respective profile serves as a length specification for the distance from the lower and upper slat 10, 11. This leads to an assembly time improvement. Due to the overlapping of the L-profile rails 16 over the ends of the roof battens 3, a flat border of the roof cut-out 2 is achieved.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a living roof window installation device with two, the two longitudinal sides of the roof window attributable, provided with battens roof side rails to be fastened.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a living roof window installation device that guarantees easy installation, easy to manufacture windproofness and a mechanically stable construction.
This object is achieved in that the side rails of laterally open, the ends of the corresponding roof battens at least partially overlapping rails are formed, each having at their end serving as a distance measure supporting battens systems. The side rails according to the invention overlap the ends of the corresponding roof battens lying laterally relative to the roof windows. This is possible due to the laterally open, profiled design. Thus, lying between the battens, limited by the associated counter battens cavities and created in this way a kind of feeding, so that a roof associated with the underlay to create a windproof and moisture seal can be easily attached. If the individual roof battens make a support of the respective hollow profile due to its overlapping position, a high stability is ensured. The mounting of the battens is particularly easy due to the slats systems of the side rails according to the invention, since a distance measure is specified by the slats systems. This measure corresponds to the respective size of the associated residential roof window. The different in size roof windows are therefore associated with correspondingly long side rails, which have a suitable for the size of the residential roof window distance between the support slats requirements.
The rails are designed in particular as L-profile rails. Due to this angle profile, the laterally open structure of the side rails is generated, in which protrude the ends of the associated roof battens and consequently of the rails Overpass position is created. At the same time a lining of the areas between the battens is realized.
According to a development of the invention, it is provided that the support slat systems are formed by angled regions, in particular bent regions, of the respective profile rail. The profile rails are preferably made of metal, in particular aluminum, and can therefore be formed without breakage. In particular, they are designed in such a way that the batten slats located in the end zones can be created by bending off areas. The total length of each side rail is greater than the free distance between the support slats, so that the end portions of the side rail rest on the support slats. The angled areas serve as stops for the battens. During assembly, in particular, the procedure is such that first the lower support bar is fastened to the roof. Subsequently, the two side rails are placed with their lower battens systems against the lower batten. The upper batten can now be attached by attaching to the upper battens systems of the two side rails in a simple manner distance to the roof. It is of course also possible to reverse the procedure, ie first to install the upper batten and then the lower.
According to a development of the invention, the procedure is that each L-profile rail has a first longitudinal leg and an angle thereto, second longitudinal leg. As a result, the angle profile is formed. The joint area of the two longitudinal limbs forms a crest longitudinal edge. In particular, it is provided that the L-profile has a 90 ° angle between its two longitudinal limbs. The crest long edge is at each end area each L-profile rail slashed to the distance dimension of the battens for bending the corresponding battens systems. This makes it possible to turn an end portion of one of the longitudinal legs, preferably 90 ° to the longitudinal extension of the corresponding rail to create in this way the slat system.
A further development of the invention provides that one of the longitudinal limbs for forming the slat systems bending alleviation, in particular beads, which extend transversely to the longitudinal extent of the longitudinal leg and each form a bending line for the bending of the slats systems.
The invention further relates to a rooftop with built-in roof window installation device, wherein the interior angle zones of the L-rails accommodate the ends of laterally located of the rooftop roof battens. It is advantageous if the profiled rails form restraints for the counter battens assigned to the two longitudinal sides of the residential roof window.

The invention is characterized - according to the above - in particular by the side rails 15, which are preferably formed as aluminum angle (L-profiles). They are longer than the distance between the lower and the upper batten 10, 11 and slotted on both sides in the angle bend to the distance D. The preferably provided bending
