Abstract

The skylight installation device for a dwelling has two side rails allocated to the two longitudinal sides of the skylight for fastening on a roof provided with rafters. The side rails are formed by profiled rails (13,14) which are open on the side and at least partially fit over the ends of the roof rafters (3). The profiled rails on their end sections have support batten locators (29,30) serving as distance pieces and which are formed from angled sections of the respective profiled rail.
