Definitions
- the EP-A-0272643 shows a ski boot with a pulling element in the form of a cable, which is guided around the instep and heel area in a similar manner. However, this cable is firmly connected at one end to the boot and at the other end with a Aufwikkelmechanismus.
- the US 2002/0095750 A1 shows a boot with a winding mechanism for clamping elements in the form of a thin wire.
- Lace-up boots such as snowboard boots, in-line skate boots, hiking boots, mountain boots, etc.
- a lace that is defined by a plurality of deflectors, such as a pair of laces. Eyelets, threaded through two opposite flaps of the boot, laced, wherein the ends of the lace are fixed, be it by a lacing or a holding or clamping device.
- Another requirement for a good fit of the boot and thus good power transfer during snowboarding on the leading edge is a good heel hold of the foot in the boot.
- especially the heel area of the foot should rest on the inside of the sole of the boot, even when the rider angles the ankle forwards to transfer forces to the front edge of the snowboard.
- the EP 0 705 544 B1 to provide, in addition to the lacing, a tension belt with low extensibility in the longitudinal direction, which runs from the instep area of the boot to the heel area and thus pushes the heel down and back.
- another strap is provided, which extends from the forefoot outside the shaft of the boot and thus supports the inherently flexible shaft against kinking to the rear.
- the US 5,291,671 A shows a lace-up boot, which in addition to the conventional lacing still has a circulating cable that runs from the midfoot area through the boot sole and from there on both sides around the shaft of the boot, whereby this cable forms loops in the instep area where it can be stretched.
- the EP 0 746 214 B1 Fig. 12 shows a shoe with a lace extending respectively from the sole region over the top of the shoe and also having a portion led around the heel region from the sole region and a portion extending from the heel region approximately horizontal to the instep region. Finally, a section is provided which extends from the instep area to the heel area close to the sole, so that the three sections in the side view form a triangle, in which, however, the upper, substantially horizontal portion below the ankle of the foot and thus below the ankle of the foot lies. For a boot with a shaft that surrounds a portion of the user's tibia, such lacing is therefore not suitable.
- the object of the invention is to improve the boot of the type mentioned in that with easy handling and comfort a good grip of the foot is ensured in the boot and in particular a good heel hold.
- the shoelace is tensioned by a tensioning mechanism, as he, for example, from the US 2002/0095750 A1 is known.
- a tensioning mechanism as he, for example, from the US 2002/0095750 A1 is known.
- This is a winding mechanism with a ratchet, on the mandrel both ends of the lace are wound up.
- the lace is here preferably a thin wire rope with high tensile strength and low bending stiffness, which can be easily wound on a winding mandrel with a small diameter.
- the one-piece design of the lace also has the advantage that certain sections of the lace are automatically re-tensioned during certain movements of the foot. For example, if the shaft bent forward, so the above second section extended, which automatically has a shortening of the first and third section result, so that as a result, especially with increased template and thus pressure on the front edge of the snowboard the Heel is pressed down more strongly and backwards.
- first and the second section in the midfoot region of the sole can be guided on both sides via a deflection; but they can also extend through the sole to the other side and be guided, for example, in the sole in sleeves, in one embodiment, these sleeves then cross over in the interior of the sole.
- the three sections are guided to protect the outside of the boot in flexible sleeves, for example in wound coil springs or a jacket of a known Bowden cable.
- the one-piece design of the lace on the o.g. refers to three sections.
- Other portions of a conventional lacing in which opposing side flaps of the boot are drawn towards each other, may alternatively be formed either integrally with the three mentioned sections or be performed as a separate laces or separate laces.
- a foot F is shown in side view.
- the essential bones of the foot are a tibia F1, which is followed by an ankle joint F3 via an upper ankle joint F2, whereupon a heel bone F5 follows from top to bottom via a lower ankle joint F4.
- Adjacent to the lower ankle F4 the foot goes over a scaphoid F6 and metatarsal bone F7 to toe bones, namely a toe base F8, a toe middle F9 and a toe end F10.
- a heel region F11 which lies below the heel bone F5 and is curved convexly outwards in side view, is distinguished, a midfoot region F12 which lies beneath the scaphoid F6 and the metatarsals F7 and is concavely curved inward, and a forefoot region F13 with the ball of the foot and toes.
- an instep area F14 which lies at the front upper side of the foot approximately at the level of the two hocks F2 and F4, and to an upper heel area F15 at the rear of the foot in the area of the upper one Ankle is located and on which the side contour of the convex portion of the heel and hocks merges into an initially concave portion of the calf.
- the individual muscles and tendons are not shown for the sake of clarity.
- the sole 1 is likewise subdivided into a forefoot area 2, a midfoot area 3 and a heel area 4 according to the above classification of the foot areas, whereby the heel area is also referred to as an area designated 4 'extending from the heel bone F5 up to the upper ankle joint F2 extends.
- a foot ring surrounding the upper part 5 is attached in a known manner, to which a shaft 6 connects vertically upwards.
- the shaft 6 is defined here so that it adjoins the upper part 5 at the level of the upper ankle joint F2 and covers a substantial area of the tibia F1. This area is called shin area 6 'in Fig. 1 shown.
- the upper part 5 and the shaft 6 form tabs 7 and 8 (see also Fig. 4 and 8th ), which are at a distance to each other and between which a so-called. Tongue 9 is located. By lacing these tabs 7 and 8 are pulled toward each other, so that the upper part 5 and the shaft 6 tightly nestle around the foot and hold it well in the boot.
- the lacing of an integrally continuous lace 11 which is performed in a special way to ensure the required good grip.
- the shoelace 11 is generally speaking a tension member, which is flexible but allows only very small elongation in the longitudinal direction. It may be a conventional lace of textile or synthetic fibers. But it can also be a tightrope.
- the lace 11 is attached with its two ends to a winding mechanism 12, which in turn is mounted in the upper region of the tongue 9. By rotating the winding mechanism 12, the two ends of the lace 11 are wound on a winding mandrel (not shown), thereby shortening the effective length of the lace.
- the winding mechanism 12 has a locking device with which the winding mandrel can be locked, and a release device for loosening the shoelace.
- a winding mechanism of this kind is for example in the US 6,289,558 B1 described and therefore need not be explained here.
- other known means and devices for locking the ends of a shoe lace may be used, be it a simple knotting or other known clamping devices.
- Fig. 1 extends the shoelace 11 starting from the winding mechanism 12 to both lobes 7 and 8 out in each case a first, substantially horizontal portion 11a and 11l to a guide 13a and 13b, which is attached to the respective tabs 7 and 8 respectively.
- the lace extends over curved second portions 11b and 11k along the guides 13a and 13b, respectively, to transition therefrom into rectilinear portions extending to the center of the tongue 11c and 11j, respectively.
- these third sections 11c and 11j intersect on a guide 14 attached to the tongue 9, which lies approximately opposite the instep area F14 of the foot.
- the shoelaces extend as substantially horizontal fourth portions 11d and 11l to the outer back of the boot to a third guide 15, which is opposite to the upper heel region F15.
- the sections of the lace also intersect at the third guide 15 and extend therefrom obliquely downward in fifth sections 11e and 11h to the central region 3 of the sole 1.
- a fifth guide 16a or 16b in the form of a deflection, from where a sixth section 11f or 11g extends obliquely upwards to a sixth guide 17 which is attached to the tongue 9 opposite the instep area F14 and close to the guide 14.
- sections 11m and 11q extend obliquely forward in the direction of the forefoot region 2 to the seventh Guides 18a and 18b on the lobes 7 and 8 and thence over curved portions 11n and 11p to a last portion 11o which runs substantially across the forefoot portion and interconnects the latter portions 11n and 11p.
- the lace 11 as a whole is integrally formed, i. All these sections 11a-11q are interconnected.
- FIGS. 1 . 2 and 5 11g and 11h on the other side each form a triangle, which in the projection of the side views (FIGS. Fig. 1 . 2 and 5 ) substantially includes the two ankle joints F2 and F4 and thus the ankle bone F3 and is effective between instep area F14, upper heel area F15 and midfoot area F12, such that the boot closely adjoins the foot especially in the critical upper heel area F15 and thus particularly the Heel presses down well against the sole and prevents it from lifting off the sole.
- the forces introduced into the instep area F14 also counteract these unwanted movements without, however, severing the foot too much.
- the lace 11 can slide on all guides 13-17, so that the given especially when snowboarding lateral mobility of the shaft is given. This also makes it possible to easily tighten the lace 11, especially if the guides preferably consist of material which, in conjunction with the lace 11, has a low coefficient of friction. Therefore, metals and plastics are suitable for the guides.
- Figures 6-10 is different from that of Figures 1-5 essentially in that the guided to the midfoot region 3 of the sole 1 sections of the lace 11 by a respective hole with sleeve 19th and 20 pass across the sole 1 rather than being deflected over the side-mounted soles 16a and 16b. Accordingly, there is a different sequence of sections, where - as in Fig. 10 can be seen - cross over the transverse running through the sole 1 sections.
- the sections extending there are denoted by reference numerals 11r and 11s. They may be guided in sleeves 19 and 20, which extend substantially transversely through the sole of the boot 1.
- the laces extend from the winding mechanism 12 as follows: Section 11a - Guide 13a - Section 11b - Section 11e - Guide 14 - Section 11d - Guide 15 - Section 11e - Guide 16a - Section 11f - Guide 17 - Section 11m - Guide 18b - Section 11n - Section 11o - Section 11p - Guide 18a - Section 11q - Guide 17 - Section 11g - Guide 16b - Section 11h - Guide 15 - Section 11i - Guide 14 - Section 11j - Guide 13b - Section 11k - Guide 13b - Section 11l back to the center mechanism 12.
- the sections 11m, 11n, 11o, 11p and 11q can also be omitted if necessary, if lacing in the forefoot area is not required. In this case, the section 11f then passes via the guide 17 directly into the section 11g.
- the laces extend from the winder 12 as follows: Section 11a - Guide 13a - Section 11b - Section 11c - Guide 14 - Section 11d - Guide 15 - Section 11e - Sleeve 20 - Section 11r - Section 11g - Guide 17 - Section 11q - Guide 18a - Section 11p - Section 11o - Guide 18b - Section 11n - Section 11m - Guide 17 - Section 11f - Sleeve 19 - Section 11s - Section 11h - Guide 15 - Section 11i - Section 11j - Section 11k - Section 11l back to the winder 12. Again, if necessary, the sections 11m, 11n, 11o, 11p and 11q and the guides 18a and 18b are omitted.
- a protective sleeve which is schematically shown in FIG Fig. 11 is shown.
- This may be, for example, a wound coil spring 21, in the interior of which the lace 11 slides.
- the coil spring may additionally, as known for example in Bowden cables, be surrounded by a protective casing 22 made of plastic.
- FIGS. 12 and 13 show a further embodiment of the invention with various alternatives.
- the sections 11c and 11j extending from the guide 14 upwards to the shaft 6 are guided around the shaft 6 outside the previously described embodiments and intersect at the back of the shaft in a further guide 15a from where they are in the essentially horizontally forward to the winding device 12, as indicated by dashed lines 11c and 11j and 11a and 11b. So that the entire shoe lace is one piece.
- the shoelace may also be split.
- the sections 11f, 11g; 11e, 11h; 11d, 11i according to the embodiments of the Figures 1-10 are guided to a first winding device 12 a, which is arranged in the instep area of the boot and attached to the tongue of the boot.
- a second independent laces 11z is guided in the upper region of the shaft 6 substantially horizontally around the shaft and in a second winding device 12b wound up.
- This winding device 12b may be attached to the side of the shaft 6 as in FIGS FIGS. 12 and 13 to see. But it can also be attached to the front of the tongue, as the winding device 12 of the previous embodiments.
- the sections 11o, 11p, 11q that span the forefoot region can also form a separate lace with an additional winding device (not shown). It is essential that the three sections present on either side of the boot, the above-mentioned. Form triangle, form a one-piece laces, which is stretched and locked with a winding device.

Description
WO 95/22917 A - Die
EP 0 474 708 B1 , derWO 99/09850 A DE 298 14 659 U1 bekannt).
FR 49631 EP 0 646 334 A1 ,EP 0 057 170 A2 ,US 2,660,812 A ,US 5, 408, 761 A ,US 5,499,461 A undUS 459,616 A bekannt.
- a) ein erster Abschnitt verläuft vom Mittelfußbereich der Sohle über den Ristbereich;
US 2002/0095750 A1 bekannt ist.
- Fig. 1
- eine schematische Seitenansicht eines Ausführungsbeispieles eines Schnürstiefels nach der Erfindung mit Darstellung eines Fußes;

Fig. 1 dargestellt.
Fig. 11 dargestellt ist.
