Abstract

Es wird eine temperierbare Walze (1) mit einem Walzenkörper (2) und je einem Walzenzapfen (4, 5) an jedem axialen Ende des Walzenkörpers (2) angegeben, wobei ein Strömungspfad für ein Wärmeträgermedium durch die Walze (1) vorgesehen ist, der in einem ersten Abschnitt radial von innen nach außen, in einem zweiten Abschnitt axial durch den Walzenkörper radial unter dessen Umfangsfläche und in einem dritten Abschnitt radial von außen nach innen verläuft.
Man möchte das Wärmeträgermedium mit möglichst wenig Aufwand durch die Walze treiben.
Hierzu ist vorgesehen, daß im Bereich des dritten Abschnitts eine Führungseinrichtung (17) angeordnet ist, die die lokale Geschwindigkeit des Wärmeträgermediums in Umlaufrichtung in jeder radialen Entfernung von der Walzenachse an die lokale Geschwindigkeit der Walze in Umlaufrichtung anpaßt.
