Apparatus intended to vary the capsizing torque of a multi-hull (12) made up of at least two floats (9) interconnected by at least two beams, designated the front connecting beam (8) and the rear connecting beam (6) respectively, characterised in that it includes a geometrical platform (15) supporting a mast arrangement (1) and a crew cockpit (10), and in that said platform (15) is mounted on the multi-hull (12) in a transversely sliding manner in order to permit, in dependence on the balance sought by the crew, the displacement of the mast arrangement (1) and of the crew cockpit (10) from one side of the multi-hull (12) to the other.
  2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the geometrical platform (15) is provided with sliding means (7, 16) of the carriage type, which are capable of co-operating with a transverse guide rail integrally mounted on each of the beams (6, 8) of the multi-hull.
  3. Apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the geometrical platform (15) also includes means (22, 23, 24 and 25) of the pulley-block and sheet type which permit its displacement and co-operate with the floats (9) of the multi-hull (12).
  4. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the platform (15) includes a central habitable structure.
  5. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the geometrical platform (15) includes a transverse beam (4), which co-operates with the rear connecting beam (6) and a mast arrangement (1) situated substantially at right angles to the front connecting beam (8).
  6. Apparatus according to claim 4, characterised in that said platform (15) includes three securement points (A, B and C) disposed in the form of an isosceles triangle, the base of which is parallel to the transverse beam (4) of the platform (15), these three securement points (A, B and C) each being connected to the upper portion of the mast arrangement (1) by a stay (13), thereby ensuring adequate retention of said mast arrangement (1).
  7. Apparatus according to claim 5, characterised in that the three securement points (A, B and C) represent the extremities of a rigid structure (3) in the form of a star, the junction zone of the branches of which corresponds to the positioning zone of the mast arrangement (1), and of which two (B and C) of the three securement points are situated on the transverse beam (4) of the geometrical platform (15).
  8. Apparatus according to claim 6, characterised in that the star-shaped structure (3) is covered by a trampoline (21), which ensures that the geometrical platform has the configuration of an isosceles triangle.
  9. Multi-hull made up of at least two floats interconnected by at least two beams, designated the front connecting beam and the rear connecting beam respectively, said multi-hull being fitted with an apparatus intended to vary the capsizing torque according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
  10. Multi-hull according to claim 9, characterised in that the lateral sliding means of the platform (15) are made up of a carriage (7), which is disposed at the front of the platform (15) substantially at right angles to the mast arrangement (1) and co-operates with a guide rail mounted on the front connecting beam (8), and two rear carriages (16) which co-operate between the beam (4) of the platform (15) and the rear connecting beam (6).
  11. Multi-hull according to claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the means for displacing the platform (15) from one side or the other side of the boat are made up of a fixed pulley-block with a double pulley on each float (9), designated the left pulley-block (22) and the right pulley-block (23), a central pulley-block (24) also with a double pulley integral with the beam (4) of the displaceable platform (15), and a sheet (25) with a single strand fitted on the pulleys of the various pulley-blocks (22, 23 and 24), so that a force in one direction entrains the displacement of the platform (15) in the opposite direction.
