Definitions
- the invention relates to a covering device for Covering a recess in a building according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- Recesses in a building create a connection between the inside and the outside of rooms in the building. Such connections can be closed by doors or windows.
- the passage of heat, air, light, sound etc., but also people, can be influenced by windows and doors.
- An essential task of windows and glass doors is to let daylight into a room. If a room is illuminated by daylight entering through windows and / or glass doors, the lighting conditions are heavily dependent on the prevailing weather and the time of day and season. Direct sunlight can cause an undesirable glare, lead to excessive heat or be disruptive for other reasons. Therefore, additional means such as curtains, shutters, blinds and the like are used to better adapt the passage options for windows or doors to the respective requirements.
- the quality of daylight, glare and heat protection is becoming increasingly important, especially at workplaces.
- Louvre blinds As a suitable means of influencing the light inlet Louvre blinds are particularly common in windows proved.
- Such slat blinds or Roman blinds are known in a variety of configurations. she are usually used for energy reasons Attached to the outside of windows, but can also located on the inside. Include Roman blinds a number of individual slats over a manual or motor drive gathered into a package or parallel to the window surface at an even distance can be spread. In addition, the slats be adjusted in their inclination, whereby the Increase light incidence in the room.
- the slats are usually gathered together by an underlying rail is pulled up, with one slat after the other on the existing ones Lamella stack sets. When it is fully pulled up the plate pack disappears in one overhead housing.
- a disadvantage of such designs is that it is not possible to Glare in the lower area of the window only this Cover the window part. Especially in newer buildings with in it is the facade's integrated heat protection elements desirable only the lower part of a window cover and the upper part for better light use release. Another disadvantage is that because of the overhead housing, the top part the window area not for the optimal light intake can be used.
- EP 0 890 703 describes a further embodiment of a Venetian blinds with slats, the slat package included lowered store and consequently uncovered window area in a recess in the window sill below lies, which can be closed with a flap.
- the Slats are with an elongated, flexible support member connected to an overhead rod-shaped end member.
- the Ends of the end member are connected to slides that are by Guide rails guided and by means of a toothed belt are drivable.
- a disadvantage of the design described is that the recess in the bottom Window parapet is exposed to the weather.
- the Plate pack lies in this recess and cannot as a whole to a protected location at the top of the Window. Dust, rain and cold can negatively affect the functionality of the store impact.
- to pull up the slats Flap can be opened. The flap bothers that Appearance of the store as well as the incidence of light in the room.
- a venetian blind is known in which hang the slats on a headboard with straps, the straps below the lowest slat one Hold the foot rail.
- the headboard can be operated manually operated drive can be lowered.
- the slats lie on the foot rail and are in one in the Window parapet integrated recess stacked.
- the foot rail can also be used a separate, also manually operated Cable mechanism can be pulled up and down. This allows the slats to be arranged so that above or below or above and below the Slat part of an area of the window not from the Slats is covered.
- This type of slat blind the complex construction is disadvantageous.
- the three various drives for moving the headboard, the Foot rail and for adjusting the angle of inclination of the Slats are rather confusing and are little user-friendly.
- a Building recess a covering device with only one To create drive, its covering means on a first Side of the building recess can be positioned so that it is well protected from the weather, and whose covering means can take other positions in which it is a part of the opposite side of the first Building recess covers and the rest of the Building cutout leaves open.
- the connection of the End parts with the drive device are temporary and releasable via a coupling mechanism.
- the Coupling mechanism is directly through the drive or parts that are operatively connected to it can be triggered so that no additional drive is required.
- This type of connection is particularly advantageous because the two end parts are independent of each other with only can be moved with a single drive.
- coupling and uncoupling process take place in one flowing movement without annoying jerky movements of the covering agent.
- the drive device can additionally for locking and releasing one end part or both End parts are used. For example, a the upper end part is locked in a certain position before it is disengaged from the drive mechanism. A lower end part, if it is on the Window parapet rests so that it can be locked cannot be pushed up manually by a burglar can. Elements used to couple and uncouple the End parts can also be used when locking and redissolving the end parts are used. Furthermore can the drive mechanism in addition to Adjustment of the inclination angle of the slats used become.
- FIG. 1 The overall view of an exemplary first embodiment of the covering device 1 according to the invention for covering a recess 3 in a building is shown in FIG. 1.
- a movable cover means 9 in the form of individual slats 11 is held on an overhead first end part 5 by means of holding means 7.
- Cords made of metal or plastic are used as the holding means 7, which comprise the entirety of all the slats 11 close to their end faces.
- the individual slats 11 are connected in pairs on both sides to the cords at regular intervals.
- the lowest slats 11 rest on the second end part 13 and form a plate pack or a stack of plates 12.
- the first end part 5 has the shape of a longitudinal profile.
- the first end part 5 is pivotably mounted in each case with a projecting bolt 17 in a bolt receptacle 19 of a respective first carrier 21.
- the second end part 13 is not rotatably connected to a second carrier 23 on each of the two end faces 15.
- the two first brackets 21 and the two second brackets 23 are guided in two guide rails 25 mounted laterally on the recess 3 of the building, the top first bracket 21 and the bottom second bracket 23 being arranged displaceably in each of the guide rails 25.
- each guide rail 25 there is an elongated drive element 33, which is connected to an overhead drive shaft 26 attached to a drive shaft 26 and an underlying second wheel 29 attached to a drive shaft 28, or a deflection device 30, which belongs to a drive device 31.
- a stub of a drive shaft 28 attached in the lowest region of the guide rail 25 can also serve the same purpose for each second wheel 29.
- the driver shaft 28, the stub of the driver shaft 28 or the deflection devices 30 can be rigidly connected to the guide rails 25 or via pressure, tension or compensation springs 111 (shown in FIG. 9).
- the drive device 31 also comprises the first wheels 27, the second wheels 29 or the deflection devices 30, the drive shaft 26 and further elements such as a drive.
- the drive shaft 26 can be driven manually via a crank or by an electric motor.
- an electric drive is shown schematically by the character "M”.
- drive elements 33 are chains, perforated bands, ball strings or toothed belts made of steel or plastic.
- a first coupling cam, called first cam 35 for short, is attached to one strand of each drive element 33 at the same height.
- Each of the cams 35 belongs to a coupling device 34, which make it possible to couple and uncouple a carrier 21, 23 to the drive element 33.
- the drive element 33 rotates around the two wheels 27, 29 and / or the deflection device 30, the first cam 35 follows the movement of the drive element 33.
- first cams 35 In the position of the first cams 35 shown in FIG. 2, these first cams 35 are releasably in engagement with a first coupling cam receptacle, briefly called the first cam receptacle 37, on the downward-facing sides of the two first carriers 21.
- a first coupling cam receptacle briefly called the first cam receptacle 37
- the first cams 35 can additionally be secured against undesired tilting with respect to the longitudinal direction of the drive elements 33 by means of a support spring 38 attached to each of the two first supports 21. Such a tilting could occur as a result of the first carrier 21 which is loaded on one side on the first cam 35.
- a second clutch cam called second cam 39 for short, is attached at the same distance from the respective first cam 35.
- Figure 3 shows for the first embodiment of the Cover 1 another layer of the Drive element 33 driven first cams 35 and second cam 39.
- Both second cams 39 are standing releasable in engagement with a second Coupling cam holder, short second cam holder 41 called, on the downward facing sides of the two second carrier 23.
- Starting from the one in FIG shown position of the cams 35.39 results in the new Position shown in Figure 3 by the cams 35.39 on drive down a run of the drive element 33 with the respective drive element 33 by the associated second Rotate wheel 29 or the deflection device 30 and on another run of the respective drive element 33 again be pulled up.
- First the first cams 35 uncoupled from the first cam receptacles 37 and then the second cams 39 to the second Cam receptacles 41 coupled.
- the first cam receptacles 37 on the first carriers 21 and the second cam receptacles 39 on the second carriers 23 are arranged in such a way that the load-bearing dreams the drive elements 33 for the two carriers 21, 23 are different.
- each drive element 33 is arranged.
- the two dreams each drive element 33, of which only one in Figure 4 is shown lie in a plane between the Carriers 21.23. They extend down to just below above the window parapet 45 or below Parapet 45 and are there by the second wheels 29 or the deflection devices 30 deflected (in FIG. 4 not shown).
- each of the second carriers 23 a passage groove 43 is let in in the region of the non-load-bearing strands, which permits unhindered passage or crossing of the cams 35, 39 with the respective second carrier 23 when the latter is decoupled from the drive element 33.
- the carriers 21, 23 could be designed such that they have a substantially smaller width. They could then be arranged in two guides or guide rails 25 separated from one another on the same side of a drive element 33. The first carrier 21 could then only come into contact with cams 35, 39 on one run of the drive element 33, while cams 35, 39 on the other run cannot influence the carrier 21.
- the second carrier 23 can only come into contact with cams 35, 39 on the other run of the drive element 33.
- the second end part 13, carried by the supports 23 resting on the two second cams 39, can be moved up or down by means of the drive elements 33. Together with the second end part 13, the slats 11 lying on the second end part 13, forming a plate pack or a plate stack 12 and the first end part 5 lying on top, are displaced. The plate set and both end parts 5, 13 can thus be moved to a place protected from the weather can be transported at the top of the window or the recess 3.
- the first cams 35 are arranged below the second cams 39 on the descending run (in the direction of the arrow P) when the disk pack 12 resting on the second end part 13 is driven downward, as shown in FIG.
- the second supports 23 can no longer move downward.
- the second cams 39 driven by the drive elements 33, move downward out of the second cam receptacles 41.
- the second end part 13 is decoupled from the drive elements 33 of the drive device 31.
- the cams 35, 39 are pulled up again on the run-up strands.
- the first cams 35 engage in the first cam receptacles 37 on the first carriers 21 and lift the first end part 5. Carried by the holding means 7, the slats 11, one after the other, are lifted off the slat stack 12 and pulled up in front of the window.
- the first cams 35 are identical with the second cam 39.
- a slight disadvantage of this The variant is the slightly longer term: as soon as the second End part 13 when driving down on the parapet 45 rests and the cams 35.39 from the second Driving out cam receptacles 41 passes a certain Time until the cams 35, 39 with the drive elements 33 around the second wheels 29 or the deflection devices 30 drove around and back in the first Intervene cam receptacles 37 on the first carriers 21 can.
- the first end part 5 or elements of the covering device 1 that are operatively connected to the first end part 5, such as the first carrier 21, can be locked by means of a first locking mechanism 47 or a holding or blocking mechanism such that the first end part 5 is held in position with respect to the window opening.
- the first supports 21 can be locked with non-movable parts of the covering device 1, for example the guide rails 25, or with a stationary, rotatable shaft, for example the drive shaft 26.
- FIG. 5 shows a section of an exemplary arrangement of the second embodiment of the covering device 1 in the unlocked state.
- a steel chain 49, which is guided around a toothed wheel 51, which is a first wheel 27, serves as the drive element 33.
- the gear 51 is coaxially connected to the drive shaft 26 and can be driven thereby.
- the first cam 35 has the shape of a circular segment and has only a small thickness s1 in relation to the radius r1 of the circular segment.
- the first cam 35 is fastened laterally to one strand of the drive element 33 with one of its two circular segment surfaces 52, the straight edge of the circular segment surface 52 running parallel to this strand.
- the end faces of each first cam 35 are formed by a rectangular control surface 54 and by a circularly curved support surface 56.
- the chain 49 is only partially drawn in so that the parts behind it are visible.
- two bores 58 can be seen, which are used to fasten the first cam 35 at two hinge points of the chain 49.
- the first cam receptacle 37 is formed at the top of the main carrier surface 53 facing the drive element 33 as a web-like protruding cylinder jacket section 55, the inner radius r2 of which is equal to or larger than the radius r1 of the first cam 35 in the form of a segment of a circle.
- the carrier 21 points at the upper edge of the main carrier surfaces 53 a U-shaped recess 57, which serves to receive the drive shaft 26 when the carrier 21 is partially pushed over from bottom to top over the drive shaft 26 which is perpendicular to the main carrier surface 53.
- the recess 57 divides the web-shaped cylinder jacket section 55 of the first cam receptacle 37 into a front section 59 and a rear section 61.
- the rear section 61 rests on the first cam 35, the control surface 54 of which is approximately parallel to the legs of the U-shaped recess 57 and to the run of the drive element 33 to which the first cam 35 is attached.
- the plane in which the control surface 54 lies does not intersect the drive shaft 26, ie it lies next to the drive shaft 26. Accordingly, the first carrier 21 resting on the first cam 35 can be pulled up by means of the drive element 33 without the first cam 35 Pushing the carrier 21 over the drive shaft 26 would hinder.
- a first latching element 63 is additionally rotatably held on the first carrier 21.
- the first latching element 63 is sickle-shaped or hook-shaped and has two opposite cover surfaces 65, the spacing of which approximately corresponds to the thickness s1 of the first cams 35.
- Step-like shoulders 66 can be integrated into the cover surfaces 65, which give the locking element 63 better sliding properties. and in turn a circular outer narrow side 67, a first end face 69, a round inner tread 71 and a second end face 73.
- the axis of rotation of the first locking element 63 lies in the lower part of the recess 57 and extends perpendicular to the carrier 21.
- the carrier 21 is pushed up so far that its U-shaped recess 57 bears against the drive shaft 26, the axis of rotation of the first locking element 63 is approximately congruent with the axis of rotation of the drive shaft 26.
- the distance of the circular outer narrow side 67 from the locking element axis of rotation is approximately the same at all points of the narrow side 67.
- the first latching element 63 is rotatably held by its round outer, gear-like narrow side 67 resting on an auxiliary gear 74 rotatably mounted on the first carrier 21 and with its inner running surface 71 on a guide web 75 projecting axially on the first carrier 21 (in FIG. 6 visible).
- the locking element 63 is guided laterally between the first carrier 21 and the gear 51.
- the first cam 35 rotates around the gear 51, the latter can exert a force on the first locking element 63.
- the force acts on its first end face 69 or second end face 73. Because of this force effect, the first locking element 63 rotates about its axis of rotation. In the unlocked state, as shown in FIG.
- the orientation of the first locking element 63 is such that its second end face 73 bears against the control surface 54 of the first cam 35, the control surface 54 running approximately parallel to the legs of the U-shaped recess 57 and the area of the recess 57 and the area of the first cam 35 do not overlap.
- Adjoining the second end face 73, the inner running surface 71 and the first brush face 69 of the first latching element 63 run along the underside of the U-shaped recess 57 and along that leg of the recess 57 which is further away from the second end face 73. Due to the orientation or position of the first locking element 63, the carrier 21 can be pushed up without being hindered by the first locking element 63 to such an extent that the drive shaft 26 almost touches the curved lower side of the U-shaped recess 57.
- the carrier 21 rests on the first cam 35 and follows its movement. If the steel chain 49 runs in the opposite direction, the first cam 35 is pulled up on one strand of the steel chain 49.
- the first locking mechanism 47 is activated.
- the radius r1 of the first cam 35 roughly corresponds to the turning radius of remaining points of the circularly curved narrow side of the first cam 35.
- the first carrier 21 lies first on the rear section 61 of the first cam receptacle 37.
- first latching element 63 In the course of the rotational movement of the first latching element 63, its second end face 73 is displaced via the drive shaft 26 running through the U-shaped recess 57 of the first carrier 21. The overhead opening of the recess 57 is partially covered by the first latching element 63.
- the first carrier 21 is thus locked to the drive shaft 26 and cannot move further down even if the first cam 35 detaches from the first cam receptacle 37 and continues to descend on the steel chain 49.
- the unlocking process takes place in an analogous manner.
- the first cam 35 exerts a force on the second end face 73 of the latching element 63 and rotates it back into the original position.
- the first carrier 21 is carried by the first cam 35 both in the locking process and in the unlocking process.
- the first carrier 21 bears on the latching element 63, which in turn rests on the drive shaft 26 or on a bearing (not shown) comprising the drive shaft 26. Due to the high frictional forces, the locking element 63 is held in a self-locking manner.
- the locking element 63 could also be secured by further means, such as spring catches, so that a further rotational movement would no longer be possible without actively triggering the spring catches (no illustration).
- first cam 35 For locking and unlocking the locking elements 63 in the example described, the rotary movement of the first cam 35 when the first wheels 27 rotate used.
- first cam 35 could of the first cams 35 independent, in addition on Drive element 33 attached first locking cams 77 (in Figure 5 not shown) are used, which the Perform the task of locking and unlocking. This is particularly advantageous when the first cams 35 due to their shape or their location on the drive element 33 not for locking and unlocking the locking elements 63 can be used.
- the second end part 13 or elements of the covering device 1 that are operatively connected to the second end part 13, such as the second carrier 23, can be locked in this way by means of a second locking mechanism 79 or a holding or blocking mechanism that the second end part 13 is held in position with respect to the window opening.
- the lockability of the second end part 13 can prevent an undesired manual pushing up when the store is closed and thus primarily serves as burglary protection.
- An example of a second locking mechanism 79 is shown in FIG.
- the function and design of the second carrier 23 with the second locking mechanism 79 largely corresponds to that of a first carrier 21 with the first locking mechanism 47 which is mirrored on a horizontal plane, the rear portion 61 of the cylinder jacket portion 55 projecting in the manner of a web being omitted. Instead, the second carrier 23 rests on the second cam 39 with a second cam receptacle 41.
- the second cam receptacle 41 has the same shape and orientation as the (non-mirrored) rear section 61 of the first cam receptacle 37 on the first carrier 21.
- the locking with the underlying drive shaft 28 or with an axle stub 32 protruding from the deflection device 30 by means of a second latching element 81 and the decoupling from the drive element 33 takes place in a manner analogous to that of the first carrier 21, the locking with the overhead drive shaft 26 taking place there.
- the second cams 39 could also be used directly for locking.
- the surfaces of the second cams 39 overlap with those of the U-shaped recesses 57 in the second carriers 23.
- the carriers 23 are thus on the drive shaft 28 passing through the U-shaped recesses 57 or held on the stub axles 32.
- this type of locking is only active when the second cams 39 are located below the drive shaft 28 or the stub axles 32.
- a second latching element 81 in the form of a lever with a hook-shaped first lever arm 101 and a support arm 103 with a concavely curved cam support surface 105 is fastened to the second carrier 23 about an axis.
- a leg spring 107 is tensioned with its legs between the second carrier 23 and the support arm 103 of the latching element 81 in such a way that it exerts a torque acting in the direction of rotation “U” on the latching element 81. If no counterforce acts on the locking element 81, the locking element 81 pivots due to the spring force about the axis in the direction of the hook tip of the first lever arm 101 to an end position which can be predetermined by a stop on the second support 23 or by the properties of the leg spring 107.
- the latching element 81 is then in the closed position.
- the second cam 39 (FIGS. 3 and 4) and is supported by the latter, the second cam 39 also lies on the cam support surface 105 of the support arm 103. Due to the bearing weight, a torque is generated on the locking element 81, which is opposite to that of the leg spring 107 and exceeds this in terms of amount.
- the locking element 81 is pivoted back against the force of the leg spring 107 about the axis until the second cam holder 41 rests on the second carrier 23 on the second cam 39.
- the locking element 81 is now in the open position.
- the second carrier 23 rests on the second cam 39 (FIG. 3).
- the latching element 81 (FIG.
- both the first end part 5 and the second end part 13 can be locked.
- This fourth embodiment results from a combination of the second and third embodiments described above.
- the sequence of individual situations when the drive element 33 rotates in one direction is shown schematically in an image sequence in FIG.
- the process is reversible, ie when the direction of rotation of the drive element 33 changes, the image sequence shown runs in the opposite direction.
- the positions of the first carrier 21 and the second carrier 23 with the slats 11 lying between the first end part 5 and the second end part 13 are shown.
- the respective first cams 35 and second cams 39 are visible. Where a first locking element 63 or a second locking element 81 is engaged, this is also shown.
- first cams 35 and the second cams 39 are shown in the lower half of the illustration.
- first supports 21 are locked with the drive shaft 26 located above.
- the second supports 23 lie on the second cams 39, on which in turn the lamellae 11 rest in the form of a lamella stack 12.
- the second cams 39 move down on the drive element 33.
- the lamellae 11 one by one detach from the lamella stack 12 and remain attached to the holding means 7, the holding means 7 in turn being fastened to the first end part 5 located above.

Abstract
