Claims (10)

  1. Fume extractor device arranged in the region near boiling or other open cooking areas for food preparation, with an intake device, which is arranged approximately in the plane thereof, for the fumes emanating from these areas and with a suction device for conducting away these fumes, wherein the intake device (3) is arranged to be movable upwardly out of the plane of the open cooking areas to a height above a cooking stock container, which may be placed on the open cooking area, to be positionable at different heights and is coupled in terms of flow by way of a length compensating pipe connection with the suction device, and the intake device (3) is mounted above the height of a cooking stock container, which may be placed on the open cooking area, to be pivotable away above this in order to adopt different pivot settings, characterised in that a control measure (21, 22) for the pivot setting of the intake device (3) is arranged, which controls the pivot setting of the intake device in dependence on the height setting of the intake device.
  2. Fume extractor device according to claim 1, characterised in that the control measure (21, 22) for the pivot setting of the intake device (3) comprises the limitation of the pivot setting of the intake device (3) in dependence on the height adjustment.
  3. Fume extractor device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the control measure (21, 22) for the pivot setting of the intake device (3) comprises the return pivotation of the intake device (3) during downward movement of the intake device into a rest position.
  4. Fume extractor device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that for the height adjustment the intake device (3) is disposed in operative connection with a motorised drive device by way of a transmission arrangement.
  5. Fume extractor device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the intake device (3) is formed in the region of one side of the cooking area to be longitudinally aligned with this side and is arranged to be adjustable in height on an axis which lies in the region of one end and to be rotatably pivotable away about this axis in dependence on the height adjustment.
  6. Fume extractor device according to claim 5, characterised in that the axial mounting for the intake device is formed by a tubular column (7), which is guided relative to the housing construction (1) in bearing blocks (8, 9) fixedly arranged in the housing and which is coupled by way of drive elements (10, 17, 16) with a drive motor for height adjustment in axial direction.
  7. Fume extractor device according to claim 6, characterised in that two identically constructed bearing blocks (8, 9) aligned relative to one another by way of a column connection (11) are arranged in remote housing regions and that a bearing block (10), which is constructed similarly to the bearing blocks (8, 9) and is connected with the motorised drive device, is arranged between these bearing blocks (8, 9) to be displaceable on the column rods (11) and connected with the tubular column (7) to be axially fixed, but rotatable.
  8. Fume extractor device according to claim 7, characterised in that the guide block (10) is disposed in connection with the motorised drive device by way of a cogged belt (17) guided parallelly to the tubular column (7) over two deflecting rollers (16).
  9. Fume extractor device according to claim 8, characterised in that one of the deflecting rollers (16) is constructed as a cogged belt wheel and is coupled with the motorised drive device.
  10. Fume extractor device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that a slot guide (21, 22) for limitation of pivotation away of the intake device (3) in dependence on the height setting thereof is arranged between regions, which are fixed relative to the housing, and the guide for the intake device.
