Claims (14)
- A baking oven, in particular a baking oven for display baking, having a baking oven housing (2) containing a baking chamber (4) closable by means of an oven door (3), with which housing (2) there is associated a steam hood (5) arranged above the baking chamber (4), characterised in that the steam hood (5) is mounted in the baking oven housing (2) in such a way as to be swivellable about a vertical axis (7) and is adjustable between an inoperative position retracted into the baking oven housing (2) and an operative position projecting in front of the baking oven housing (2).
- A baking oven according to claim 1, characterised in that the vertical axis (7) for the steam hood (5) is arranged on the same side of the baking oven housing (2) as the hinge for the oven door (3).
- A baking oven according to claim 2, characterised in that the vertical axis (7) and the axis of rotation of the hinge for the oven door (3) are coaxially aligned.
- A baking oven according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a drive is provided for swivelling the steam hood (5).
- A baking oven according to claim 4, characterised in that the drive is provided to ensure time-coordinated displacement of the steam hood (5) before the oven door (3) opens automatically after the baking process.
- A baking oven according to claim 4 or claim 5, characterised in that the drive comprises a double-jointed rod (9) connected to the steam hood (5), which rod (9) is attached by its opposite end to a linear motor (10) or an eccentric shaft.
- A baking oven according to claim 5 or claim 6, characterised in that a door catch is provided which defines the opening angle alpha of the automatically opening oven door (3).
- A baking oven according to claim 7, characterised in that the swivel angle of the steam hood (5) corresponds to the opening angle alpha of the oven door (3) defined by the door catch.
- A baking oven according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that, in addition to the suction openings on the steam hood (5) directed downwards towards the baking chamber (4), lateral openings (11) are additionally provided in the side face (12) of said steam hood (5).
- A baking oven according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that a steam condenser (13) is incorporated into the steam hood (5) and in that at least some of the suction openings are exposed when the steam hood (5) is in the inoperative position.
- A baking oven according to claim 9 or claim 10, characterised in that the side face (12) of the steam hood (5) is inclined relative to the front face (14).
- A baking oven according to any one of claims 9 to 11, characterised in that the side face (12) is guided by a guide element (15) arranged on the baking oven housing (2).
- A baking oven according to claim 12, characterised in that the guide element (15) takes the form of a T-shaped profile element (16), which engages by means of a leg (17) in a groove (18) formed in the side face (12) .
- A baking oven according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the baking oven housing (2) is of two-part construction with a separate steam extraction housing (6).
