Definitions

  • the invention relates to a protective glove, in particular for fire and Disaster operations, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such protective gloves have been known for a long time and are common used in auxiliary operations of the type mentioned above.
  • a protective glove is known for example from WO-93/05670
  • the outer layer of the Protective glove consists of a heat-insulating silicone compound.
  • the inner layer consists of a Kevlar fabric or a Kevlar knitted fabric.
  • the outer layer is heat-insulating works, but is not extremely heat-resistant and flame retardant.
  • the intermediate layer is not designed as an extremely stab-proof fleece.
  • DE-U-29903833 shows a protective glove consisting of a Outer glove made of flame retardant material and one interchangeable inner glove with a membrane or chemical protective layer surrounded by a felt
  • DE-U-29901430 shows a stab-resistant textile product for one Protective glove consisting of at least two layers of one Knitted or knitted fabric made from para-aramid fibers, whereby at least one surface of the layers is matted.
  • Fabrics or combinations of knitwear also belong to the prior art Made of para-aramid fibers that are single or multi-layered to prevent mechanical cuts protect.
  • US 4,433,439 for example, is a two-layer Protective glove known, the inner layer consists of a Kevlar fleece, and which accordingly has excellent puncture resistance.
  • the one with this inner layer sewn outer layer is also made of Kevlar.
  • the protective glove has one Outer layer made of a textile fiber with low thermal conductivity, an intermediate layer from a cut and stab-proof textile fiber as well as a heat-resistant Lining with a one-way liquid impermeable and breathable Membrane on. It is characteristic of this protective glove that the Interlayer is formed from a fleece of para-aramid fibers on which a Aramid fiber fabric laminated as a heat-resistant outer glove layer is. This ensures that on the one hand the outer fabric has the necessary Seam tear resistance is awarded and on the other hand the puncture and cut resistant Properties of the nonwoven at least partially on the mechanically less resilient Outer material can be transferred.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object of a protective glove, especially for fire and disaster operations, to create the cut resistance and elasticity of a knitwear with the insulation and stitch resistance of a felt connects so that the softness, elasticity and the tactile feeling of the glove can be significantly improved, while at the same time unrestricted breathability is guaranteed and by purely mechanical needling the Components the risk of melting adhesives is avoided.
  • the inside of the glove and glove back advantageously made of different Material formed.
  • the cuff is advantageously made up of several layers, so that the relevant parts of the body are adequately protected from heat and stab wounds are.
  • the fastener strap located on the cuff near the glove opening provides advantageously the tight fit of the cuff on the forearm of the wearer of the Glove.
  • FIG. 1 and 2 show a preferred embodiment of the protective glove according to the invention 1. This is designed as a glove with a cuff 4, that extends far beyond the wrist. On the cuff 4 is a circumferential Strips 17 sewn from a light reflecting material to the carrier of the Make gloves more visible in the dark. As usual with gloves, a cuff edge 14 is provided on the cuff 4, which the glove opening 7 edged.
  • the glove inner surface 5 shown in Fig. 2 is made without seams and has preferably the same fabric as the strip 12 described above to protect the knuckles. Near the glove opening 7 is on the Cuff 4 is also provided with a fastening strap 16, with the aid of which cuff 4 can be tightened on the forearm of the wearer of the glove.
  • the glove 1 has a different structure on the inner surface 5 of the glove than on the back of the glove 6, while the cuff 4 in turn from another Material exists.
  • the exact structure of the different elements of the glove 1 can be seen from FIGS. 3 to 5.
  • Fig. 3 shows a section through the back of the glove, including all Back of fingers and most of the instep belong.
  • the inner glove 2, with which the wearer of the glove alone is in direct contact consists of one Fine knitwear made of heat-resistant para-aramid fibers that directly with a stitch-resistant Felt made from para-aramid fibers. Due to the purely mechanical consolidation the pores of the knitwear are closed and thus extremely high Thermal insulation against radiation and contact heat achieved.
  • the back of the glove 6 of the outer glove 3 consists of nozzle-colored, cut and heat-resistant Para aramid fabric. This fabric has sufficient seam tear resistance, which is necessary to cover the different outer layers of the Sew glove 1 together without the need for lamination allow. Between the inner glove 2 and outer glove 3 is an insert an anatomically pre-formed, liquid-impermeable intermediate layer 8 is provided, which enables a very high sense of touch.
  • the three-layer structure of the glove 1 is on very similar to its inside. However, the difference is that the inside of the glove 5 of the outer glove 3 made of a fabric made of para-aramid fibers with a flame-resistant and highly abrasion-resistant pigmented coating Polyurethane carbon is made that have maximum resistance to oils and Fuels achieved. This material is preferably also used for the strip 12 used to protect the knuckles.
  • the cuff 4 (FIG. 5) in turn has a heat-resistant para-aramid fiber as the inner layer 11 and as outer layer 10 a para-aramid fabric laminated with felt on. Between the inner layer 11 and the outer layer 10 of the cuff 4 a liquid-impermeable, breathable intermediate layer 18 is embedded, preferably made of the same material from which the intermediate layer 8 between inner glove 2 and outer glove 3.
  • the inner glove 2 with the inner layer 11 is preferably the cuff 4 sewn together, as well as the outer glove 3 with the outer layer 10 of the Cuff 4.
  • the two intermediate layers 8 and 18 can also be made as one piece Intermediate layer can be stored.
  • the inner layer 11 of the cuff 4 is only on the cuff edge 14 with the outer layer 10 sewn together so that the inner glove 2 together with the inner layer 11 of the cuff 4 sewn onto it can easily be turned outside.
  • the protective glove according to the invention thus becomes an excellent one Protection of its wearer from heat as well as from cuts and stab wounds in everyone conceivable situation.
