Definitions
- the invention relates to a switchable ratchet screwdriver according to the preamble of claim 1, (see, e.g., US-A-4 485 699) as used for actuating screw parts or tools, e.g. B. a screw, nut or socket, is used
- Switchable ratchet screwdrivers are already in different designs are known as coupling elements e.g. Double-spring clutches (US-PS 4,341,293), ratchet wheels (US-PS 819,536) or one-way clutches (US-PS 3,868,983, DE 25 03 372 A1, US-PS 4,485,699 and WO 99/04178) have already been used. The latter are most advantageous because they are practically noiseless and also work very precisely. However, they are general relatively heavy and bulky and cannot easily be used as a pocket tool, i.e. e.g. be carried in the shirt or jacket pocket without this in To be affected.
- the object of the invention is thus a ratchet screwdriver or the like. genus specify that one-handed, simple, quick and easy to use or switch and also optimal at all times, e.g. can be carried in the jacket pocket
- the switchable ratchet driver according to the invention is in the manner of a Ballpoint pen built and thus has a slim, tubular housing on, with the active part reaching out at the front end and an am rear end against spring force switching push button and an outside axially extending fastening clip.
- the axial shift-shift movement from the shaft driving part or the freewheels for the left / Activation of the right can be carried out using a standard push button switch, each on the rear face of the axial switching movement performing part is effective.
- a screwdriver is known from US Pat. No. 4,515,046, which is in the manner of a Ballpoint pen is constructed with essentially all the external features of a such and with a corresponding push button switching or retraction mechanism. However, this has an axially displaceable, non-rotatable, i.e. not ratcheting tool shank.
- the shaft is moved axially so that the active tip of the Tool shaft protrudes from the housing in the active position or in the deactivated position Position fully retracted into the interior to avoid damage or prevent injuries. Only one active and one withdrawn inactive position is however with ratchet screwdrivers, the two active Need positions or situations of the tool tip, not desired
- the freewheels on the inner casing of the tubular housing e.g. are firmly arranged by gluing or pouring and the shaft with the driving section in the manner of a ballpoint pen refill axially displaceable Shank is also against axial pulling forward by one against one Casing shoulder secured shaft shoulder and is on the other hand the push button switch mechanism at the rear.
- the switching mechanism can e.g. consist of a switching sleeve in which on the one hand Shaft end protruding in front and on the other hand the push button over a serration engages. But it can also be a switching mechanism be used, the grooves provided on the jacket side of the push button pin works in conjunction with a ball.
- the shaft can be arranged immovably in the housing be, while the two freewheels or the one-piece double freewheel through the Push-button switching mechanism in the left / right switching position to the fixed one Shaft driving section can be moved.
- the switching mechanism works with the help of a bell-shaped sleeve on the freewheel, on the rollers or the Roller cage and / or the bearing outer ring. which also has an axially counteracting Compression spring is kept under tension, i.e. always under tension is present on the switching mechanism.
- This embodiment with fixed Shank and sliding bearings has the advantage that the shaft is always in the same Length protrudes from the housing tip, which is pleasant to handle effect.
- a very advantageous embodiment can be achieved if only one freewheel cage is provided, which is immovable on the driving portion of the shaft is attached, while on the housing shell two freewheel outer rings or a double freewheel outer ring is provided for switching is therefore on the Driving section seated freewheel cage in relation to the two freewheel outer rings or to shift the freewheel double outer ring, what by Shifting the shaft with a fixed outer ring or by shifting of the double outer ring in relation to the fixed shaft, it can be realized it can be seen that this version is less expensive since it is only a single row Freewheel cage is used, i.e. a series of freewheel rollers or -Needles are saved.
- the shaft can be below or in Height of its driving section can be divided in two by an axial-radial step, one shaft half being axially immovably connected to the housing, while the second half of the shaft executes the spring-loaded switching movement. It is recognizable that the shaft part which is inactive with respect to the switching movement, who only does the screwing work or carries out the ratcheting rotary movement, is no longer axially spring-loaded, since the spring only acts on the active one Sliding-switching shaft part acts or loads it.
- step sections on the respective shaft parts are so removable that the two shaft part ends in complementary pushed together state as a full shaft.
- a corresponding ring can also surround a half-shaft part axial guidance can be ensured.
- the division of the shaft in two can also be done in a particularly advantageous manner can be achieved that two parts are provided, facing each other Interlock telescopically ends.
- One end of the shaft can be one Have bore into which the pin of the other shaft part end is axially displaceable, but non-rotatably seated via pin, groove, tongue etc.
- This is in itself manufacturing technology the simplest embodiment and can also be optimally implemented in terms of space without fear that the two will work together Shaft part ends not properly under the influence of a screw torque work together, i.e. can bend apart.
- the flexible shaft can be firmly attached to the front end of the shaft have the screw bits or a bit holder at their outer end.
- the flexible shaft can also be used as an independent additional or adapter part in the Frame of a tool set for a screwdriver with bit holder, i.e. with on Bit holder attached to the shaft. Then you can flexible shaft at one end a hexagon plug head, like the one in similar Way is provided on bits, and at the other end e.g. a bit holder, so that a very extensively seated tool or tool set is available stands
- a voltage tester known per se can advantageously be provided in the shaft be placed between, the housing then at least partially must be transparent.
- the ratchet screwdriver designed in the manner of a ballpoint pen, with a slim, tubular Housing to which a fastening clip 2 is attached
- At the front end is an in this embodiment conically tapered end part 3, which in known per se Way screw-on is provided.
- a shaft 4 protrudes from this out, which in turn at its outer end, the tool tip 5, here one Has slotted screwdriver tip.
- An arrow 7 indicates how the push button is pressed, that is the button for switching to a first downward shift is pressed, whereby what is indicated by arrow 8, the active screwing direction is directed to the left. This means that in this position the screwdriver is suitable for screwing on.
- Fig. 2 it can be seen in a schematic manner that in the housing 1 in the axial One on top of the other two counter-rotating freewheels 11, 12 by pouring, gluing or are fixedly arranged in another known manner.
- a Shaft 4 passed axially, a freewheel driving section at the level of the freewheels 14 which cooperates with the freewheels in a manner known per se.
- the shaft 4 is axially on a known per se Switching device (15), which is not shown here.
- a pull-out protection 18 can also be a shoulder or a snap ring, but only so large that it not collided with the spring 17.
- the shaft 4 is fixed against displacement arranged in the housing and in such a way that on the housing end part 3 Pull-out protection 18 rests on the end face, while on the outer end face of the A bit holder 19 on the end part 3 on the shaft directly at the protruding shaft end is arranged, which prevents a shifting upward of the shaft
- the two opposing single freewheels 11, 12 are axially displaceable here in the housing 1 provided, this bias being held up by the Compression spring 17. This is on the one hand against the end part 3 and on the other hand the end face of the bearing 12 or an interposed disc under pressure.
- the Switching mechanism 15 here consists of a switching sleeve 20, which is on the upper End face of the upper freewheel 11 is present and at its upper end itself Known switching prongs 21 are provided, which have corresponding switching prongs of the push button 6 cooperate.
- FIG. 4 it is shown how on the driving section 14 of a shaft 4 Freewheel cage 22 containing rolling elements is arranged directly axially displaceably is.
- This assembly ie shaft 4 with driving section 14 and located thereon Freewheel cage 22 is axially displaceable within a double outer ring 23, forming a double freewheel 25.
- This double outer ring 23 has two axially successive sections for left and right coupling.
- FIG. 6 shows a double freewheel 25, which consists of two axially very close to each other Freewheel cages 22 and 24 consist of a double outer ring 23, similar to that of FIGS. 4 and 5, are arranged.
- FIG. 7 shows the arrangement of three freewheels in axial succession, namely such as. in Fig. 2 or 3, the freewheels 11 and 12, for right and left, with the Driving section 14 of the shaft 4 cooperate.
- a second driving section 27 is provided, which is connected to the third freewheel 26 interacts.
- the shaft 4 is in its longitudinal extent so divided into two parts that the lower shaft part 4a with a half pin 28 upwards and the upper shaft part 4b projects downwards with a half pin 29, such that the two semicircular pins with their respective flat part standing together, forming a circle and simultaneously taking turns antagonistd.
- Both parts have a shoulder 30 at the respective lower end of the pin 28, 29 or 31 on, between which a compression spring 17 is arranged a support axially down over a shoulder 32 and a snap ring 33 on lower housing end of the axially fixed shaft part 4a, while the upper Shaft part 4b is pressed upwards.
- the driving section 14 optionally with the freewheel 11 or 12 bringable, depending on whether you want to turn left or right.
- 9 is a division of the shaft in the amount of Carrying part 14 has been made, the section 14a a smooth Has outer circumferential surface 34, thus neutral, so not entraining the freewheels 11 and 12 behaves and only the role of a radial guide or support plays.
- the upper driving part 14b of the shaft part 4b is for Interacting with one of the two freewheels, depending on, with which freewheel is brought into engagement by axial displacement.
- the upper Shaft part 4b is supported by a lower shoulder 31 via a compression spring 17 a shoulder 30 of the lower shaft part 4a, whereby the switching function of the Switching mechanism, not shown here, is ensured.
- 9a is a radial section through the driving section 14 shown. It can be seen that the support section 14a consists of two mirror-image arranged arms, which axially displaceable in corresponding cutouts in the switching section 14b are inserted.
- FIG. 10 is similar Structure provided as in Fig. 8, except that the two are connected standing pin formed as a telescopically interlocking pin 35 and 36 are, the lower pin in the manner of a sleeve and the upper as corresponding this guided pin is formed.
- a take-away, at relative Axial displacement is achieved by means known per se, which are not here are shown, e.g. Tongue and groove, pin and groove etc.
- FIG. 11 shows how a voltage tester 37 is interposed in a shaft 4 is, the housing at this height a transparent section or has a window 38.
- Fig. 12 shows how a flexible shaft 39 is attached to the shaft 4, which on its outer end has a bit holder 19 in which a bit 40 over its hexagon 41 is inserted
- an independent flexible element 42 is provided that can be added as an accessory to a bit ratchet screwdriver. It consists essentially of a flexible shaft 39, which at one end is provided with a hexagon 41, which in one on the shaft 4 of the ratchet screwdriver attached bit holder 19 can be inserted. This bit holder 19 has one Magnet 34, the hexagon and thus the flexible shaft against falling out holds. A bit holder 19 is provided at the other end of the flexible shaft 39, which, as described in FIG. 12, serves to receive a bit 40
- This joint 44 is preferably designed such that it pivots around 90 °, i.e. allowed by the T position and one in each of these two positions should have the appropriate locking to prevent it from being hooked in e.g. in a Jacket pocket and on the other hand to be able to fulfill the role of a T-screwdriver.
