Claims (10)

  1. A floor for passing between two vehicles connected together by an articulated link, characterised in that it comprises a first pallet (2) which can be fixed to the end of one of the vehicles and a second pallet (3) which can be fixed to the end of the other vehicle, these two fixed pallets (2, 3) each being partially covered by a movable pallet (4), the two fixed pallets being connected to each other by two deformable members (5),
    each deformable member (5) comprising two links (6) articulated on each other and respectively connected in an articulated fashion to each of the said fixed pallets, each link (6) being connected to the other link by two connecting rods (7) which are articulated together and fixed in an articulated fashion to each of the links (6) at a point lying between a point of articulation of the link (6) on the fixed pallet and the common articulation point (8) of the two links, the two connecting rods (7) forming with the two links (6) a substantially horizontal deformable parallelogram, the common articulation point (9) of the two connecting rods (7) being fixed to the movable pallet (4) and able to move in rotation with respect to this movable pallet (4).
  2. A floor according to Claim 1, characterised in that the ends of the links (6) opposite to their common articulation point (8) are each fixed in an articulated fashion to an arm (11) which is itself connected in an articulated fashion to the fixed pallet (2, 3) on an axis parallel to the plane of the fixed pallet (2, 3) and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis Y thereof.
  3. A floor according to either one of Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the plane containing the deformable parallelogram is substantially parallel to the plane formed by the fixed (2, 3) and movable (4) pallets, the articulation axes of the said parallelogram being perpendicular to the plane formed by the said pallets (2, 3, 4) when there is no difference in level between the pallets (2, 3).
  4. A floor according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the common articulation point (9) of two connecting rods (7) fixed to the movable pallet (4) is situated on a so-called median axis (X), perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (Y) of the floor and defining a longitudinal symmetry of the said movable pallet (4).
  5. A floor according to Claim 4, characterised in that, the fixed (2, 3) and movable (4) pallets being aligned in the longitudinal direction, the two deformable parallelograms are symmetrical with each other with respect to the longitudinal axis Y of the movable pallet (4), the common articulation point (8) of the links (6) of each parallelogram being close to the said longitudinal axis (Y).
  6. A floor according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the lengths of the links (6) and connecting rods (7) are such that the common articulation (9) of the connecting rods (7), fixed to the movable pallet (4), and the articulations (12) of the links (6) connected to the fixed pallets (2, 3) are aligned whatever the relative positions of the fixed (2, 3) and movable (4) pallets.
  7. A floor according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the movable pallet (4) overlaps each of the fixed pallets (2, 3) over a sufficient surface so as to maintain this overlap whatever the relative positions of the two vehicles.
  8. A floor according to any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the movable pallet (4) has sufficient flexibility so as to be able to deform and remain in contact with the fixed pallets (2, 3) in the event of a rolling movement or a difference in level between the two vehicles.
  9. A floor according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the movable pallet (4) rests on the fixed pallets (2, 3) by means of at least two sliding runners (15) distributed regularly on each of its edges (20) parallel to the median axis (X).
  10. A floor according to Claim 9, characterised in that the sliding runners (15) are fixed in an articulated fashion to the movable pallet (4) on an axis parallel to the plane of the movable pallet and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof.
