Definitions
- the invention relates to a chain saw with a Chain brake device in the preamble of claim 1 defined genus.
- a known motor chain saw Chain brake device (DE 196 18 640 A1) has the Kickback for the quick stop of the Saw chain one from a strong rebound brake spring acted upon lever that when transferring the Non-return brake from their standby position in their that Brake band on the actuating position pulling the brake drum a brake band lever on which one end of the Brake drum looping brake band is set to whose axis of rotation fixed to the housing is pivoted.
- the outlet brake on the other hand consists of a between the actuator Commissioning of the chain saw, e.g. the throttle a chainsaw powered by an internal combustion engine or the electrical on / off switch at one electromotive chainsaw, and the brake lever arranged transmission member and a brake band in Weaker outlet spring acting on the braking position.
- the Brake band lever has one parallel to its first Rotation axis arranged second rotation axis, around which he at Actuation of the outlet brake is pivotable so that when Trigger the kickback brake to the actuator Commissioning of the chainsaw essentially free of Reactive powers remain.
- the technical effort for this lever mechanism to be realized is relatively large.
- the Lever mechanism is also in the front area of the chainsaw arranged so that an unfavorably long transmission path from the actuator for starting up the chainsaw to to the lever mechanism.
- the recoil brake also wraps around the brake drum Brake band by operating the hand protection and so on connected pull at the front end of the brake band around the Brake drum tightened.
- the outlet brake includes one bent rod on which the other end of the brake band is attached and which is biased by a ring spring. The rod is at the end with the actuating element Commissioning of the chainsaw connected with which at the Actuate a arranged in the circuit of the electric motor On / off switch is closed. Will that When the actuator is released, the rod pulls as a result a spring return force at the end of the brake band and tightens the latter on the brake drum.
- the motor chain saw according to the invention with the features of Claim 1 has the advantage that a simple and cheaper Lever mechanism for the chain brake device Manufacturing costs for the chainsaw significantly reduced.
- the Arrangement of the transmission lever in the outlet brake is close and therefore cheap to the actuator for the Commissioning of the chainsaw arranged.
- For the Braking is only a small force required, as well in the case of the outlet brake, the actual braking effect the self-wrap effect of the brake band is triggered.
- the spring force applied to the braking element only serves triggering the self-wrap effect of the brake band and does not form the actual braking force.
- this is Brake release member is pivotally held in the housing two-armed transmission lever, one of a spring a spring arm loaded one resting on the brake band Has braking section and the other lever arm with the Actuator is coupled. It is preferred that Actuator in one piece with the other lever arm trained who in the case of an electric motor powered chainsaw the switching element of an im Circuit of the electric motor lying electrical on / off switch acted upon.

That can be done through a suitable constructive Interpretation of the transmission lever and / or its Brake section can be reached.
- the Brake section of a fixed on the lever arm or with this one-piece brake shoe formed with one cylindrical according to the circumference of the brake drum arched braking surface rests on the brake band.
- the size of the friction can be adjusted. If necessary, the Brake surface coated or hardened and thus the Coefficient of friction can be influenced.
- the brake release element cooperating stop provided which is arranged that at. Reaching a minimum thickness of the Brake band the brake release element or the Transmission lever no longer presses on the brake shoe can apply to the brake band.
- the attack can be determined on the housing side and with the Transfer lever or interact with the brake shoe or be formed on the brake drum and with the Interact with the brake band on the protruding brake shoe.
- the Transmission lever designed as a bent sheet metal part and the Brake section in the shape of a circular arc to adapt to the Drum circumference trained.
- the Brake section as a bead from the sheet metal part Transmission lever must be pushed out, the line-shaped the brake band presses.
- the brake shoe in a fixed to the housing Brake shoe guide in the circumferential direction of the brake drum limited displaceable and taken over the lever arm of the Transfer lever in the radial direction of the brake drum Spring force can be applied.
- the brake shoe and the Brake shoe guide point in the direction of rotation Brake drum front end each have a bevel.
- the two bevels are coordinated so that the Brake shoe with a shift in the direction of rotation Brake drum with its bevel between the Wedge of the brake shoe and the brake band wedged, causing strong radial pressure on the brake band and Brake drum exercised and the braking effect increased significantly becomes.
- the non-return brake is pivoted on the housing, two-armed brake lever on one lever arm of Hand guard attacks and its other lever arm with one Switch-off element for switching off the chain wheel Drive torque is coupled.
- the rear end of the Brake band is on the housing and the front end of the brake band after wrapping the brake drum in the direction of rotation Brake drum on the lever arm connected to the hand guard set so that the brake band on the one hand with Advance the hand protection triggered and by releasing a preloaded spring causes the brake lever to pivot is tightened on the brake drum and on the other hand can move independently of the brake lever in the direction of pull.
- This definition of the brake band on the brake lever ensures that the brake band in the event of activation of the outlet brake move forward relative to the brake lever and move with it can tighten on the brake drum.
- the brake band with its front end on one one-armed lever that swivels on the with the Hand protection coupled lever arm of the brake lever sits and stop when the outlet brake is inactive Lever arm on its front edge facing away from the end of the brake band supports.
- the brake band with its front end via a pin-slot connection in the paired with the hand protection Lever arm of the brake lever should be set so that the pin when the outlet brake is inactive, on the one facing the brake band End of the elongated hole.
