Definitions
- the invention relates to a switch with a relative to at least one fixed Contact between a first and a second switching position movable Contact bridge over a knee joint lever with an actuator connected is.
- the object of the invention is to provide a switch of this type, which is independent of the speed at which the actuator is moved one enables quick switching from one switch position to the other.
- the tension spring forms one Energy storage, which is the drive energy for the actual switching process delivers.
- the construction according to the invention has the advantage that only a small number moving components is required and that the tension spring only for a short time is cocked during the switching process, while in both switching positions is largely relaxed. In this way, fatigue of the Avoid tension spring.
- the first switching position preferably corresponds to the closed position of the Switch, so that a rapid movement through the sudden movement of the knee joint Open the switch and thus sparking the contacts can be reduced.
- the one assigned to the actuating member is supported End of the knee lever preferably in a housing-fixed rest. If, as is common practice, the contact bridge resiliently in the closed position is biased, is therefore the actuator from the to the contact bridge acting force relieved.
- the knee joint is on one closed, approximately triangular path, so that it is direct Return paths from the second switch position to the first switch position can.
- This return movement can be triggered simply by the fact that End of the knee joint lever through the actuator from the housing Rest is lifted out.
- the force acting on the contact bridge then becomes transmitted to the actuator by the almost extended knee joint lever and returns it to the first switch position.
- the tension spring can be arranged so that it still supports this reset process. On this way - largely independent of the movement of the actuator - enables a quick switchover movement in both directions.
- the switch shown in Figure 1 has a housing 10 made of electrically insulating Material in a known manner for attachment to a not shown Clamping rail is formed and in which an actuator 12 is rotatable is stored.
- the actuator is formed by a drum 14 which with a peripheral segment outside the housing 10 and there is a radial projecting arm 16, which allows the actuator of Hand operated.
- Two fixed contacts 18, 20 are arranged symmetrically in the housing 10 and each connected to a terminal 22.
- the opposite inner ends of contacts 18, 20 are shown in FIG Position that corresponds to the closed position of the switch by a Contact bridge 24 electrically connected to each other.
- the contact bridge 24 is elastic against the fixed Contacts 18, 20 biased.
- the drum 14 and the contact bridge 24 are through a knee joint lever 28 connected with each other.
- the knee joint lever 28 In the state shown in Figure 1, the knee joint lever 28 an almost stretched position, and he supports himself with a shorter one Leg 30 off the contact bridge while its slightly longer another Leg 32 with the free end on a radially projecting shoulder 34 the drum 14 rests.
- the housing 10 forms a guide link 36, the a closed, approximately triangular path for the knee joint 38 of the knee joint lever Are defined.
- the guide link 36 forms a straight line Guide 40 for the free end of the leg 30 of the knee joint lever.
- a tension spring 42 designed as a tension spring acts on the knee joint 38, which is anchored at its other end to the housing 10.
- the knee joint 38 lies in a corner of the guide link 36.
- the knee joint lever is in this position 28 slightly angled.
- the tension spring 42 on the knee joint The force exerted also has a my upward component, so that the leg 32 of the knee joint lever is slightly stretched against the shoulder 34 becomes.
- the knee joint lever can therefore have a certain degree Have play so that the contact pressure exerted by the compression spring 26 is not affected.
- the housing 10 In the vicinity of the axis of rotation of the drum 14 is through the housing 10 in one a guide contour with an axially offset plane relative to the drum Rest 44 formed for the free end of the leg 32 of the knee joint lever.
- a guide 46 is formed on the housing 10, the free end of the leg 32 always holds in the vicinity of the drum 14.
- An outer perimeter section the drum 14 forms a resilient tongue with a locking cam 48, which interacts with a housing-fixed cam 50 and the actuator 12 locked in the position shown in the figure.
- the arm 16 turns counterclockwise in Figure 1 pivoted so that the locking cam 48 over the cam 50th slides away.
- the shoulder 34 presses on the leg 32 of the knee joint lever, so that the knee joint 38 slants downward toward the bottom of the upper, almost horizontal section of the guide link 36 becomes.
- the guide link prevents the lower leg 30 of the knee joint lever, the contact bridge 24 from the contacts 18 and 20 takes off. Instead, the knee joint lever 28 kinks against the force of the Tension spring 42 and the knee joint 38 moves in the upper section the guide link to the right, as can be seen in Figure 2.
- the knee joint 38 thus approaches a vertex 52 which is the right corner of the guide link 36 forms.
- FIG. 3 shows the state in which the knee joint 38 has this apex 52 slides away.
- the leadership backdrop sets that of the actuator 12 no force exerted on the leg 32 of the knee joint lever Resistance more.
- the tension spring 42 is stretched to the maximum, and at the knee joint 38 there is a resultant force which the knee joint in the Section of the guide link 36 pulls downward from the apex 52 runs. It is only from this moment that the knee joint lever also exercises a downward force on the contact bridge 24.
- the knee joint 38 moves very quickly through the lower portion of the guide link 36 so that the The knee joint lever is suddenly stretched again.
- the lower end of the knee joint lever moves in the straight guide 40 down and moves the contact bridge 24 very quickly away from the fixed contacts, so that the electrical contact is interrupted in the shortest possible time. This quick break of contact occurs even when the arm 16 of the actuator only moved very slowly or held in the position shown in FIG becomes.
- the force of the tension spring 42 is divided into two components, the longitudinal direction of the two legs of the knee lever act.
- the tension spring 42 therefore pulls the knee joint lever in a fully extended position in which, as shown in Figure 4, the knee joint 38 in a latch 56 at the lower corner of the guide link 36 lies.
- the switching element 12 has been moved to the end position, which the corresponds to the open position of the switch.
- the free end of the leg 32 of the knee joint lever through the shoulder 34 of the drum into the fixed Rast 44 has been pushed.
- the restoring force of the compression spring 26 is therefore now caught on the elongated knee joint lever and the catch 44 on the housing 10, without substantially burdening the actuator 12.
- the Tension spring 42 is largely relaxed again in this state, so that signs of fatigue be minimized if the switch is in for a long time the switch-off position remains.
- the locking cam 48 slides over the housing-fixed cam 50 so that the drum 14 automatically in locks into their final position. This will remove the knee joint lever 28 from the shoulder 34 relieved so that the knee joint 38 reliably held its position in the upper Branch of the guide link 36 takes. This ensures that the knee joint is in the upper branch again when the switch is actuated again the guide link moved to the side and not in the almost vertical Branch of the guide link is pushed back.
