Definitions

  • the invention relates to a dampening system of a planographic printing machine, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Modern offset printing presses have inking and dampening units, in their coupled operation of the dampening solution partially indirectly via a Moist application roller and partly indirectly via one of the dampening application rollers immediately following in the cylinder rotation direction of the printing form cylinder Ink roller is applied to the printing form and the Dampening roller applies a fountain solution ink emulsion to the printing form applying.
  • the indirect dampening solution application is carried out by a Ink application roller with the connecting roller coupling with the dampening application roller allows.
  • the dampening inking unit has an inking roller for indirect moistening and an axially changeable dampening roller.
  • An inking roller forms one of the inking roller and the dampening roller intermediate connecting roller.
  • the type of rotary drive one that is, only on the dampening roller resting on the dampening roller whether this z. B. driven by friction from the dampening roller, and to the peripheral speed of the dampening roller is in the Utility model made no statement.
  • dampening inking unit A disadvantage of this dampening inking unit is that the dampened printing form, especially when Printing fuzzy substrates, washed relatively often must, because of a lack of rolling slip between the Dampening roller and the printing form so-called slugs in the print image Place the free paper fibers causing them on the printing form.
  • the common one Washing leads to print interruptions when printing high-volume jobs, which are associated with restarting waste every time.
  • a dampening and inking unit described in DE 31 46 223 C2 is a Another example of the formation of such offset printing machines. With this dampening and inking unit cannot solve the problem described above solve because they are here unusually as an inking roller designated dampening roller with plate cylinder peripheral speed must rotate, as is expressly emphasized in the patent specification.
  • each a dampening roller and other rollers comprise, wherein each roller abutting the dampening roller still abuts a roller.
  • EP 0 722 829 A2 describes a dampening unit which has a Dampening roller and only on the dampening roller adjacent distribution roller includes that of the dampening roller fricative is driven.
  • dampening systems have to meet the highest requirements. By a can only roll on the dampening roller these requirements when designing dampening systems correspond.
  • a dampening unit described in DE-U-91 10 345 meets the requirements with regard to a template-free dampening solution application only with pure Vietnamesefeuchtung.
  • Damp applicator roller on one over its steering knuckle over gears and thus positively driven dampening roller and is one closest inking unit roller separately.
  • Unfavorable on this dampening system is that a dampening system for indirect dampening a Plate cylinder is not provided.
  • the employment of the dampening roller to the closest inking unit roller either serves to use the Damp applicator roller as the only printing ink on the plate cylinder applying application roller or as a washing circuit.
  • the dampening roller is switched off from the dampening roller mounted in a side frame connected so that a stencil-free indirect dampening with this Dampening is also not possible for this reason.
  • DE 29 02 228 C2 also includes an inking unit and a dampening unit described in which an inking roller with indirect dampening about the surface speed of the plate cylinder corresponding surface speed and the Dictates the surface speed of an adjacent dampening roller, which thus rolls on the plate cylinder without slippage. Only from the The dampening roller runs on ink supply of separate pure direct dampening at a peripheral speed which is about 10% above or below the Circumferential speed of the plate cylinder is. Very disadvantageous about this Dampening is that this does not have the dampening film on the Moist application roller smoothing and only on this Dampening roller is provided adjacent dampening roller.
  • Dampening solution from a water box roller onto the dampening roller transmitting dampening roller is missing to effectively prevent a Stenciling required constructive requirement, which the concern is only on the dampening roller.

  • Another process design is characterized in that a lateral oscillation of the first dampening roller to smooth the Dampening solution film takes place in their axial direction. In this way, a so-called axial stenciling is very safely avoided and occurs particularly thorough mixing of those that got onto the dampening roller Printing ink with the fountain solution on it to a printable Emulsion.

  • This is an additional second dampening roller, just like the first Dampening roller, not a transfer roller, but only one single roller, namely the dampening roller. It has been shown that when using the inking unit to which the inking roller belongs, as a so-called short inking unit, increased requirements for incorporation the dampening solution into the ink on the dampening roller consist. In the so-called short inking unit operation, the Planographic printing form not all of the inking rollers of the total Inking unit used.
