Claims (8)
- Vorrichtung (1) zur Applizierung eines flüssigen oder pastösen Beschichtungsstoffs (23) auf Oberflächen von durch die Vorrichtung hindurchlaufenden Werkstücken (3), insbesondere von Werkstücken (3) mit einem den überwiegenden Teil der Gesamtoberfläche bildenden ebenen Oberflächenbereich (32) und mit gegen diesen vertieft liegenden, in Werkstück-Durchlaufrichtung verlaufenden Oberflächenbereichen (33), wobei die Vorrichtung (1) mindestens eine drehbare Auftragswalze (2) umfaßt, auf die der Beschichtungsstoff (23) dosiert aufgebbar ist und von der der Beschichtungsstoff (23) unmittelbar auf den ebenen Oberflächenbereich (32) des relativ zur Auftragswalze (2) bewegten Werkstücks (3) übertragbar ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß zur gleichzeitigen Beschichtung der mittels der Auftragswalze (2) nicht beschichtbaren, Abstand von der Auftragswalze (2) aufweisenden vertieft liegenden Oberflächenbereiche (33) des Werkstücks (3) in der Arbeitsrichtung (30) der Vorrichtung (1) gesehen hinter der Auftragswalze (2) wenigstens ein zusätzliches, in seiner Grundform scheiben- oder walzenartiges Applikationselement (4) vorgesehen ist, das um seine Mittelachse (40) drehbar sowie in seiner Position relativ zur Auftragswalze (2) und zum Werkstück (3) zur Anpassung an die vertieft liegenden Oberflächenbereiche (33) einstellbar ist und das an seinem Umfang Mittel (42) zur Abnahme von verbliebenem Beschichtungsstoff (23) von den Umfangsbereichen der Auftragswalze (2), die nicht mit dem ebenen Oberflächenbereich (32) des Werkstücks (3) in Berühung kommen, und zur Abgabe dieses Beschichtungsstoffs (23) an die Abstand von der Auftragswalze (2) aufweisenden, vertieft liegenden Oberflächenbereiche (33) des Werkstücks (3) aufweist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß am Umfang des Applikationselements (4) als Mittel (42) zur Abnahme und Abgabe des Beschichtungsstoffs (23) ein Borstenbesatz oder eine Schwamm- oder Filzauflage vorgesehen ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß diese mehrere nebeneinander angeordnete, einzeln einstellbare Applikationselemente (4) umfaßt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Applikationselemente (4) an einer gemeinsamen Quertraverse (47) gehaltert sind und daß die Quertraverse (47) insgesamt in einer ersten Richtung (48') in ihrem Abstand relativ zum Werkstück (3) und in einer zweiten Richtung (49') in ihrem Abstand relativ zur Auftragswalze (2) verfahrbar und festlegbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jedes Applikationselement (4) relativ zur Quertraverse (47) in wenigstens zwei, vorzugsweise in drei, Raumkoordinatenrichtungen (45', 46') verstellbar und festlegbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jedes Applikationselement (4) einen eigenen, vorzugsweise stufenlos regelbaren, Drehantrieb (43), bevorzugt mit einem Pneumatik- oder Elektromotor, aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittelachse (40) des/ jedes Applikationselements (4) aus einer zur Drehachse (20) der Auftragswalze (2) parallelen Grundstellung um mindestens eine, vorzugsweise parallel zur Arbeitsrichtung (30) weisende, Schwenkachse (44) verschwenkbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß diese eine Werkstück-Transporteinrichtung (5) umfaßt, mittels der ein einzelnes oder mehrere parallele Werkstücke (3) unter der Auftragswalze (2) hindurchführbar ist/sind, und daß die Quertraverse (47) die Transporteinrichtung (5) überspannt.
