Abstract

Sur un moteur (M) avec installation d'allumage (1,2,3,4) et/ou d'injection à commande individuelle par cylindre, et avec capteur (7) coopérant avec une cible rotative (8) à repère de position (10) du P.M.H. d'un cylindre de référence, le procédé consiste à commander sur le cylindre de référence une perturbation autre qu'un arrêt de l'injection et de nature à provoquer une variation du couple moteur, à détecter la variation de couple moteur, par la variation d'un signal représentatif du couple gaz, qui résulte de la commande de perturbation, à rapprocher les instants de cette commande et de la détection de sa conséquence sur le couple moteur pour en déduire la phase du cylindre de référence à l'instant de la commande de perturbation, et ensuite la phase des autres cylindres du moteur.
Application en particulier aux moteurs à quatre temps à allumage et/ou injection séquentielle.
