Abstract

Bei einer Mascara-Einheit, umfassend einen an einem Halter befestigten Applikator und einen Vorratsbehälter für Mascara-Flüssigkeit, wobei der Applikator im Lager- und Transportzustand in den Vorratsbehälter eintaucht und zum Auftragen von Mascara aus dem Vorratsbehälter herausbewegbar ist, ist vorgesehen, daß Applikator (7) und Vorratsbehälter (2) als Einheit derart ausgebildet sind, daß der Applikator (7) durch Betätigung mit einer Hand aus dem Vorratsbehälter (2) heraus und in diesen hinein bewegt werden kann. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung richtet sich auf eine Mascara-Einheit umfassend einen an einem Halter befestigten Applikator und einen Vorratsbehälter für Mascara-Flüssigkeit, wobei der Applikator im Lager- und Transportzustand in den Vorratsbehälter eintaucht und zum Auftragen von Mascara aus dem Vorratsbehälter herausbewegbar ist.
Derartige Mascara-Einheiten sind üblicherweise so aufgebaut, daß der Vorratsbehälter eine Verschlußkappe aufweist, wobei im Bereich der Auslaßöffnung des Vorratsbehälters ein Außengewinde vorgesehen ist, auf welches die Verschlußkappe mit einem Innengewinde aufschraubbar ist. Am inneren Boden der Verschlußkappe ist der Stiel eines Applikators, in der Regel in Form eines Mascara-Bürstchens, befestigt, wobei der Applikator beim Aufstecken der Verschlußkappe in den Behälter eintaucht und die Verschlußkappe dann zum dichten Verschließen aufgeschraubt wird. Umgekehrt wird die Verschlußkappe zur Applikation abgeschraubt und der am Stiel angeordnete Applikator durch Abziehen der Verschlußkappe aus dem Vorratsbehälter herausgezogen, wobei im Bereich der Öffnung eine Abstreifeinrichtung vorgesehen ist, um überflüssige Mascara-Flüssigkeit abzustreifen.
Diese bekannte Ausgestaltung macht es erforderlich, mit der einen Hand den Mascara-Behälter festzuhalten und mit der anderen Hand die Verschlußkappe zu betätigen, d.h. aufzuschrauben und herauszuziehen. Auch während des Auftragens der Mascara-Flüssigkeit auf die Augenwimpern muß die Benutzerin den Behälter gesondert in der Hand halten.
Hiervon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Mascara-Einheit der eingangs genannten Art so auszugestalten, daß eine vereinfachte Handhabung ermöglicht wird.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß Applikator und Vorratsbehälter als Einheit derart ausgebildet sind, daß der Applikator durch Betätigung mit einer Hand aus dem Vorratsbehälter derart heraus und in diesen hinein bewegt werden kann, daß der Applikator ausschwenkbar gelagert ist.
Hiermit wird eine völlig neue Konzeption realisiert, indem einerseits eine echte Einhandbetätigung ermöglicht wird und andererseits während der Applikation die zweite Hand freibleibt, weil der Vorratsbehälter von dieser nicht mehr gehalten zu werden braucht.
In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung kann vorgesehen sein, daß der Applikator in einer kappenartigen Schiebehülse angeordnet ist, welche einen seitlichen Schlitz aufweist, um den ausgeschobenen Applikator ausschwenkbar zu machen. Der Applikator wird also in einer ersten Bewegungsphase zur Ingebrauchnahme durch die Auslaßöffnung aus dem Vorratsbehälter herausgeschoben, und kann dann durch den Schlitz nach außen, vorzugsweise um 180°, verschwenkt werden.
Zur Realisierung der Schwenkbewegung sind unterschiedliche Mechanismen vorstellbar. Vorzugsweise kann der Halter des Applikators einen Abschnitt mit einer Zahnung aufweisen, mit der eine Zahnung eines von außen längsverschiebbaren elastischen Bandes kämmt.
Alternativ kann vorgesehen sein, daß der Halter einen durch eine Öffnung der Schiebehülse betätigbaren Betätigungsabschnitt zur Veranlassung einer Schwenkbewegung um ein Schwenklager aufweist. Hierbei kann die Schwenkbewegung ähnlich der Betätigung eines Feuerzeugs mit dem Daumen einer Hand realisiert werden.
Um Probleme hinsichtlich einer vollständigen Benetzung des Applikators bei dickflüssigeren Massen oder nur teilweiser Behälterfüllung zu vermeiden, kann vorgesehen sein, daß in dem Vorratsbehälter ein Mischring angeordnet ist oder daß der Applikator einen teleskopierbaren Stiel aufweist.
Anstelle einer reinen Linearbewegung zum Herausziehen des Applikators aus dem Vorratsbehälter kann dies auch über eine Schraubbewegung bewerkstelligt werden.
Die Schiebehülse kann einrastbar und/oder gabelartig ausgebildet sein und ihrer Längsbewegung kann ein Anschlag zugeordnet sein.
Zur Vermeidung von Verschmutzungen kann über den Bereich des Schlitzes eine zusätzliche Kappe oder eine Umverpackung aufgebracht sein.
Nachfolgend wird die Erfindung anhand eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels in Verbindung mit der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Dabei zeigen:

Eine in der Zeichnung dargestellte Mascara-Einheit 1 umfaßt einen Behälter 2 mit einem abgerundeten Boden 3 mit einem Innenraum 4 zur Aufnahme von Mascara-Flüssigkeit, an dessen dem Boden 3 gegenüberliegenden Ende ein im Querschnitt verjüngter Hals 5 ausgebildet ist, in den ein Abstreifer 6 eingesetzt ist.
In den Innenraum 4 taucht ein Applikator, im Ausführungsbeispiel ein Mascara-Bürstchen 7, ein, welches in üblicher Weise durch zwischen verdrillten Drahtabschnitten gehaltene Borsten gebildet ist, wobei das proximale Ende der durch die verdrillten Drahtabschnitte gebildeten Drahtseele 8 in einem Halter 9 befestigt ist.
Auf den Vorratsbehälter 2 ist eine kappenartige Schiebehülse 10 aufgesetzt, welche an einer Seite einen Schlitz 11 aufweist, dessen Breite in etwa der Breite des Mascara-Bürstchen 7 entspricht.
Der Halter 9 weist einen kreisabschnittförmigen Bereich mit einer Außenverzahnung 12 auf Dieser kreisabschnittförmige Bereich wird umschlossen von einem elastischen, in diesem Bereich mit einer Zahnung 14 versehenen Band 13, dessen Zahnung 14 mit der Zahnung 12 des Halters 9 kämmt.
Das elastische Band 13 erstreckt sich längs einer Seite des Behälters 2 und weist an seinem freien Ende einen Betätigungsabschnitt 15 auf, der, wie durch den Pfeil 16 angedeutet, ein Hin- und Herschieben des elastischen Bandes 13 ermöglicht, so daß durch das Kämmen von dessen Zahnung 14 mit der Zahnung 12 des Halters 9 das Mascara-Bürstchen 7, wie in Fig. 3 dargestellt, nach außen durch den Schlitz 11 um 180° geschwenkt werden kann und somit applikationsbereit ist.
Damit ein derartiges Ausschwenken ermöglicht wird, ist die Schiebehülse 10 über eine Betätigungshülse 17 ausgehend von dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Lager- und Transportzustand mit dem Daumen einer Hand in Richtung des Pfeils 16 verschiebbar. Bei dieser Schiebebewegung passiert das mit Mascara-Flüssigkeit getränkte Bürstchen 7 den Abstreifer 6, wobei eine geschlitzte elastische Membran 18 beim Herausziehen des Bürstchens 7 die Öffnung 19 des Behälters 2 verschließt. Ausgehend von dieser Position kann das Mascara-Bürstchen 7 dann mit der gleichen Hand bzw. mit dem gleichen Daumen, der zuvor die axiale Schiebebewegung bewerkstelligt hat, über den Betätigungsabschnitt 15, wie bereits beschrieben, ausgeschwenkt werden. In gleicher Weise kann das Bürstchen zurück in den Behälter 2 zum Transport und zur Aufbewahrung gebracht werden.

Claims (11)

  1. Mascara-Einheit umfassend einen an einem Halter befestigten Applikator und einen Vorratsbehälter für Mascara-Flüssigkeit, wobei der Applikator im Lager- und Transportzustand in den Vorratsbehälter eintaucht und zum Auftragen von Mascara aus dem Vorratsbehälter herausbewegbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Applikator (7) und Vorratsbehälter (2) als Einheit derart ausgebildet sind, daß der Applikator (7) derart durch Betätigung mit einer Hand aus dem Vorratsbehälter (2) heraus und in diesen hinein bewegt werden kann, daß der Applikator (7) zur Applikation ausschwenkbar gelagert ist.
  2. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Applikator (7) in einer kappenartigen Schiebehülse (10) angeordnet ist, welche einen seitlichen Schlitz (11) aufweist, um den ausgeschobenen Applikator (7) ausschwenkbar zu machen.
  3. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Halter (9) des Applikator (7) einen Abschnitt mit einer Zahnung (12) aufweist, mit der eine Zahnung (14) eines von außen längsverschiebbaren elastischen Bandes (13) kämmt.
  4. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Halter (9) einen durch eine Öffnung der Schiebehülse (10) betätigbaren Betätigungsabschnitt (15) zur Veranlassung einer Schwenkbewegung um ein Schwenklager aufweist.
  5. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in dem Vorratsbehälter (2) ein Mischring angeordnet ist.
  6. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Applikator (7) ein teleskopierbaren Stiel aufweist.
  7. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Applikator (7) aus dem Vorratsbehälter (2) herausschraubbar ist.
  8. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schiebehülse (10) einrastbar ist.
  9. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schiebehülse (10) gabelartig ausgebildet ist.
  10. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schiebehülse (10) ein Anschlag zugeordnet ist.
  11. Mascara-Einheit nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß über den Bereich des Schlitzes (11) eine zusätzliche Kappe oder eine Umverpackung aufgebracht ist.
