La présente invention consiste à réaliser, en bordure des réseaux d'autoroutes, un chemin de fer parallèle à celles-ci permettant de transporter par trains la majorité des camions ciculant sur ces autoroutes .The present invention consists in making, at the edge of motorway networks, a railroad parallel to these allowing to transport by train the majority of trucks ciciculating on these highways.
Les camions empruntant un transport par rail sont actuellement embarqués dans les gares existantes et véhiculés par trains sur les voies également utilisées pour le transport des voyageurs et à des moments ou les trains de voyageurs n'encombrent pas le réseau . Ce dernier a été conçu pour desservir les villes ,( petites ,moyennes ou grandes ) en transport de voyageurs . Ce système de transport de camions présente donc plusieurs inconvénients qui le rendent peu attractif pour les compagnies de transport routier :
- embarquement et débarquement dans des gares généralement situées en agglomération , ce qui rend leur accès peu facile .
- les gares actuelles manquent souvent d'espace pour un flux important de véhicules lourds et encombrants .
- les quais ne sont pas adaptés .
- les traversées des villes entrainent des ralentissements importants des trains . _l,infrastructure ( ponts ... ) est difficile à adapter .
- les rayons de courbure des voies souvent trop petits compte tenu de l'environnement , entraínent des réductions de vitesse importantes .
- l'embarquement et le débarquement des camions sur les wagons sont souvent des opérations longues parce que ceux-ci ne sont pas forcément adaptés compte tenu des impératifs du réseau .
- les trains transporteurs de véhicules ne peuvent circuler qu'à certains horaires dépendant des horaires des trains de voyageurs qui ont la priorité .

La présente invention consiste à définir un nouveau réseau( chemin de fer et gares ) de transport de poids lourds par rails , ceux-ci étant implantés en bordure des autoroutes . Les gares seront situées aux points terminaux des grands axes autoroutiers c'est-à-dire à proximité des péages d'autoroutes proches des grandes agglomérations ( exemples : Paris Lille Lyon ,Marseille ...). Leur accès sera donc aussi facile que celui des péages . Aussitôt débarqués du train les camions se trouveront à proximité immédiate d'une autoroute ou d'une voie rapide . Le réseau ferroviaire autoroutier sera composé de deux voies parallèles à circulation inversée d'un même coté de l'autoroute et en bordure de celle-ci . Les voies seront plus espacées que celles du réseau actuel afin d'éviter les risques de détérioration des bâches des camions lors du croisement des trains à pleine vitesse .
