Definitions
- the invention relates to a drain assembly for a cistern, comprising a bottom valve, an overflow pipe with a bottom valve closure member, a lifting device for opening the bottom valve and a hold-open device for the bottom valve during the emptying process.
- Drain sets of this type are known, the overflow pipe with the bottom valve closure member being held in the open position by a float as a rule after a manual opening operation during the emptying process.
- the lifting mechanism is usually arranged on the outside around the overflow pipe.
- the object of the invention is to create a compact lifting device for a drain valve which can be actuated with a push button. This object is achieved in that the lifting device is arranged essentially in the overflow pipe and a locking device controlled by a float is provided to keep the bottom valve open during the emptying process.
- the advantages that can be achieved with the invention exist especially in the space-saving arrangement of the lifting device, which is also an essentially tilting moment free and thus low-friction movement of the overflow pipe for the bottom valve actuation.
- the is arranged essentially in the overflow pipe Lifting device also largely the permanent Removed exposure to rinse water, making an undesirable Calcification is largely excluded.

- the cistern waste set described above works as follows: The cistern 1 is filled with water up to level 10 via a float-controlled valve (not shown). If a rinsing process is now to be initiated, the user presses the pusher 41 into the position shown in FIG. 2. As a result, the plunger 45 is inserted into the support body 43 against the force of the spring 450, so that the two tabs 47 now pivot the two levers 46 about the pin 432, as a result of which the extensions 401 with the claws 40 are axially displaced and thereby on the inner bead 30 come to the system and lift the overflow pipe 3 with the bottom valve closure member 31 from the bottom valve 2 and release the outlet port 20 for emptying the water stored in the cistern.
- the latching lug 310 passes through an opening 512 in the bottom 51 to the pawl 500 of the float, where it engages against the buoyancy of the float 50.
- the float 50 is returned to its resting position in an accelerated manner by side ribs formed below the locking lug 310, which abut on the underside of the pawl 500.
- the detent 310 is held in this detent position until the water taken up between the ring jacket 52 and the guide bush 501 has flowed away, so that the float 50 is returned to the horizontal position and the pawl 500 releases the detent 310.
- the bottom valve 2 is closed by gravity from the overflow pipe 3 with the closure member 31 again.
- the water in the cistern 1 is brought back to the fill level 10 by the float valve (not shown in the drawing), so that a new flushing operation can be initiated by actuating the pusher 41.
- Outlet slot 520 for the drainage in the annulus between the guide bush 510 and the ring jacket 52 collected Water provided.
- By changing the cross section of the Outlet slot 520 may change the closing time of the bottom valve 2 can be reached so that the amount of flushing water to be dispensed or that in the cistern remaining amount of water can be determined during a rinsing process is.

Abstract
