Definitions
- the invention relates to a connection and coupling system with the features of the preamble of the claim 1.
- Lighting systems with continuous mounting rails used, on which light carriers with several arranged in a row Illuminants, mostly fluorescent lamps, attached are.
- power supply lines have the light carriers with all for operation fluorescent lamps and / or other lamps required equipment and as far as complete wired.
- the wiring must be done when building the Light band can not be made on site. It will rather, the lighting strips are pre-assembled and pre-wired to be able to deliver to the assembly effort before To keep the location as low as possible and the lamp assembly largely automated.
- the mounting rails contain a neutral conductor and possibly one protective conductor usually several phase conductors for the energy supply of the lamps.
- a neutral conductor and possibly one protective conductor usually several phase conductors for the energy supply of the lamps.
- the illuminants of a light strip should be grouped together can be connected to different phase conductors. Although this is usually desired, it can be required, an entire light strip only from to supply a single phase conductor. Furthermore it may be necessary to assign individual phases Change bulbs after some time. This, for example. if network loads change or changes to the made by the light strip illuminated device become.
- Both the mounting rail and the light carrier must usually for electrical safety reasons be connected to a protective conductor. Here it comes high reliability and current carrying capacity. Connection and coupling systems that are electrical Connection between the cables of the mounting rail and the Light carrier or the equipment mounted on it manufacture must also take this requirement into account carry.
- connection and Coupling system From DE 196 04 222 A1 is a connection and Coupling system known that this problem largely justice.
- To the connection and coupling system includes a box to be attached to the mounting rail Sockets with insulation displacement contacts for contacting of the continuous lines are provided.
- the socket contacts for the (three) phase lines are in one Row arranged. In a parallel row there are one Socket contact for the neutral or neutral conductor and one Socket contact arranged for the protective conductor.
- the cans must be connected to the light carrier Assigned connector that has multiple plug contacts.
- the plug contacts are formed by contact tongues, those in a housing section open on one side are arranged. They protrude from this section of the housing not out.
- At least one for tapping the voltage is provided by a phase conductor plug contact tongue stored in a base that is open on one side Housing part is arranged laterally displaceable.
- the Plug-in contact tongue is held on it in the base Provide end with plug contacts that connect of cables.
- DE 43 12 778 A1 electrical connection device for a ballast known.
- the terminal device serves as screwless connection terminal and has an insulating body on, in which contact plates are firmly stored. This are both with plug-in contact areas and with Provide insulation displacement contact areas.
- This known electrical terminal device has advantages in the automatic wiring of the concerned Ballasts on. However, it is not as Plug can be used for a connection and coupling system, as is required for mounting rail lights.
- From CH-654696 A5 is a device for mounting and tapping a ribbon cable known.
- To this Device includes an insulating housing in which several Contact plates are held. Each contact plate has a U-shaped section, the leg as plug-in contact tongues in a designated receiving space protrude from the connector and are accessible there. On the opposite end of each contact is insulation displacement contacts trained who contact a ribbon cable, when this is inserted into the connector housing and the Plug housing is closed.
- DE 41 27 899 A1 Plug device with phase selection known in the continuous Stripped cables in a specified area be gripped by a base part.
- the stripped The line section is behind a plug-in window to arrange.
- the base part is a plug with assigned to several spring contacts. These are in finger-like Insulated bodies arranged and each have two flat springs biased towards each other. When plugging into the designated windows of the Base part, the contact springs spread over the respective bare conductors and contact them. At least a finger-shaped insulating material part can be moved arranged so that optionally different Lines can be contacted.
- the contact between the spring contact and the line depends heavily on the materials used and one sufficient spring force from the spring contacts. Furthermore is due to the required stripping of the cable sections of the continuous lines lying line sections a relative at the given position high mounting wall required.
- a key special feature of the new connection and coupling system is the light carrier side to be arranged plug, which for automatic Luminaire wiring is suitable and the simple Handling allows an arbitrary phase selection.
- the Plug has a housing section open on one side in which the plug contact tongues are arranged.
- the Housing section is preferably designed such that the plug contact tongues do not protrude from this. He thus assumes a management function when plugging together of the connection and coupling system before the plug contact tongues with the appropriate socket contacts come into contact. The plug contact tongues are thereby inserted centrally into the socket contacts, whereby damage or bending largely excluded is.
- connection means For connecting cables that the plug contact tongues with electrical equipment, sockets and Devices to be mounted on the light carrier connect, are outside of this housing section of the Plug housing connection means arranged. While the Plug contact tongues relatively inaccessible in the interior of the housing section are located Connection means for further wiring to easily accessible Place outside the housing section, which in particular with regard to automatic luminaire assembly is important.
- the connection means are with the Plug contacts rigidly connected and together with them slidable. This makes it possible to use the connection means as a handle for moving the plug contacts within to use the housing section of the connector housing. Should the plug contact for changing the assignment to the phase lines can be moved laterally, this can be very simply by making the outside Connection means can be moved laterally by hand.
- connection means arranged in the housing section is preferred an insulation displacement contact means.
- This is special well suited for automatic wiring.
- cables to be connected are not on thrust to claim, as is the case with plug-in contacts is.
- the combination of laterally displaceable plug contacts with an insulating part that has a section protrudes outwards as a handle for shifting of the plug contact and as insulation for one in it arranged insulation displacement contact can therefore be used regarded as particularly advantageous.
- the locking means Preferably serves to store the insulating material part a sliding guide that is just a displacement, but not a twisting or swiveling of the plug contacts allows.
- the locking means In or on the insulating housing
- the locking means provided define locking positions in which the relevant plug contact when joining the Connection and coupling system in a corresponding Socket contact takes place without being bent laterally.
- the locking means are preferably in the immediate vicinity of the outer part serving as a handle Insulated base arranged. This will avoid that the insulating material part is at the side adjustment canted.
- the insulating part is advantageously for the Plug contact to that formed between the insulation displacement contact and the fixed connector housing a certain Distance is available, which is sufficient accessibility the insulation displacement contact. This is particularly important for plugs used for automatic Luminaire wiring are set up. By doing Clearance between the insulation displacement contact and the other connectors, other connection devices, like plug-in contacts accessible from below be.
- the additional connection devices can, for example. for connecting interference suppression capacitors or other Resources are used.
- the advantage is here in that the externally accessible insulation displacement contacts remain free.
- the plug contact can consist of several individual parts consist. However, it is preferably in one piece formed from a sheet, one end of which is a plug contact and its other end as an insulation displacement contact serves.
- the contact plate in question is preferred bent so that the insulation displacement contact and the plug-in contact have mutually parallel axes and of are accessible in the same direction. This allows a luminaire assembly when already on a carrier (the Light carrier) attached plug without this should be accessible from below.
- the connector housing is preferably formed in two parts, being an upper connector part of the Part of the housing housing the plug contacts. In the sliding insulating parts are used.
- the plug is mounted by the so formed Unit placed on a lower base or plug part is, making the insulating parts captive in the plug are held.
- FIG 1 A connection and coupling system is shown schematically in FIG 1 for mounting rail lights, to which a plug 2 and a socket 3 belong.

- Box 3, which also includes the base 5 belongs to the permanent contact of Lines 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 of a line bundle 12, the essentially over the entire length of the mounting rail is led. While the lines 7, 9 and 11 phase lines are, the line 8 is a protective conductor and Line 10 is a neutral or neutral conductor.
- the connector schematically illustrated in Figure 1 2 is illustrated on a larger scale in FIGS. 2 and 3.
- the connector 2 has a two-part Isolierstoff existing connector housing 14 to which an upper connector part 15 and a serving as a base lower plug part 16 belong. While the lower one Plug part essentially as a flat rectangular plate edge-side spacing edges 17 is formed and not further illustrated fasteners for assembly has on the light carrier 4, the upper contains Plug part 15 has a housing section 18 which on the by the lower connector part 16 opposite side is open.
- the Distance edges 17 create between the light carrier 4 and the bottom formed by the plate of the plug part 16 a space to accommodate smaller components.
- the housing section 18 is through an intermediate wall 19 divided so far that two in plan view essentially rectangular interiors 21, 22 are divided.
