Definitions

  • the invention relates to a connection adapter for plate heat exchangers, for supply and / or discharge of media that is attached to one side of the heat exchanger and with the flow channels of the Heat exchanger is in hydraulic connection.
  • connection adapter is known from WO 94/29659; F28D 9/00, known.
  • the connection adapter is part of a plate heat exchanger and is arranged on one side of the plate heat exchanger. It is used here for the inlet and outlet of a liquid in or from the plate heat exchanger to enable. Furthermore, the adapter with a mounting plate for the plate heat exchanger be connected.
  • the main purpose of the adapter here is probably that by means of the adapter variable connection options have been created for the heat exchanger in a simple manner because in the adapter plate a channel as a connection between the liquid inlet and the liquid outlet is incorporated, which allows, for example, to position the connecting flange where it is favorable from the installation conditions.
  • the channel must then be designed so that it connects the liquid inlet to the liquid outlet, d. that is, it is used for different installation conditions also be shaped differently.
  • connection adapter is only intended for the supply and / or discharge of a single medium. Should several media, for example two, be separated from each other via a connection this connection adapter is not suitable.
  • a heat exchanger is known from the unpublished DE 195 19 740 A1, which is connected to a Side has a distributor plate, which has cutouts and holes. This distribution plate is attached to the heat exchanger together with another mounting plate so that the cutouts and holes in hydraulic connection with the flow channels in the heat exchanger are.
  • This heat exchanger offers i.a. not the ability to separate two media into each other to initiate a single flow channel.
  • the oil cooler from DE 30 20 557 Al has components such as connecting plate, flow element in the flow channel and a separator in the flow channel. These components serve to redirect of the oil inside the oil cooler to increase its cooling capacity. Even with this you cannot two media can be introduced into a flow channel.
  • the object of the invention is to improve the connection adapter so that it for separate supply and / or discharge of two media is suitable and for example as a connection adapter can be used for plate heat exchangers with more than two separate media.
  • connection adapter consists of a connection plate, preferably a tubular one Flow element and a separating element, preferably an annular disc.
  • the Connection plate has two holes, one for a medium. One of the holes is taking one end of the tubular flow element, which with the other end in the flow channel of the heat exchanger protrudes. The diameter of the flow element is less than that of the flow channel, so that a gap is formed between them, the flow channel is useful.
  • the mentioned other end of the tubular flow channel is with the separating element connected, which is designed as an annular disc. And that's the washer with that inner edge attached to the flow element sealingly, for example soldered and with the outer Edge sealed between horizontal channels of the heat exchanger.
  • connection adapter designed as described is best suited for the separate supply and / or discharge of two media.
  • the one Medium enters through one hole, flows through the flow element into the heat exchanger, where it spreads in the horizontal channels and participates in heat exchange.
  • the other medium enters or exits through the other hole, flows through the connecting channel, and emerges into the gap to get from there to the horizontal channels of the heat exchanger also participate in the heat exchange.
  • connection adapter can, for example, be fixed with a cover plate of the heat exchanger be tightly soldered.
  • connection adapter can, for example, be fixed with a cover plate of the heat exchanger be tightly soldered.
  • connection adapter according to the invention is particularly suitable for plate heat exchangers have several, for example four separate circuits within the one heat exchanger.
  • two such adapters one for the inlet of the two media, one for the Drain the two media to be arranged on one side of the plate heat exchanger. If the mentioned flow channel of the heat exchanger is sealed off, for example by another Cutting disc, could be from the opposite side of the plate heat exchanger two separate media can be fed in and out, so that even four separate media are used for heat exchange can be involved.
  • connection adapter is installed in a soldered plate heat exchanger, it is preferable to even if the components of the connection adapter are individual parts that work together with the plate heat exchanger be connected in the soldering furnace.
  • the connection adapter can also, for example, as Plastic injection molded part.
  • connection adapter 1 is soldered both in itself and in the plate heat exchanger.
  • connection adapter 1 consists of the three individual parts, namely connection plate 2, flow element 3 and separating element 4, which is designed as an annular disk 40.
  • the elements of the heat exchanger are assembled in a manner known per se, wherein also the washer 40 is inserted with its outer edge 42 between the heat exchanger plates 7 becomes.
  • the flow element 3 and the connection plate 2 are inserted.
  • the inner edge 41 of the ring disk 40 is in contact with the flow element 3, preferably with whose end 31, which is located in the flow channel 6 of the heat exchanger.
  • this end 31 also protrude somewhat deeper into the flow channel 6 than only up to the Where the washer 40 is located. From a fluidic point of view, however, it should be preferable when the washer 40 is at the end 31 of the flow element 3. Otherwise judges the depth of use of the flow element 3 according to the required performance parameters.
  • Fig. 1 are, for example, only the top two horizontal channels 8 of the heat exchanger other horizontal channels.
  • the plate heat exchanger naturally also has further flow channels for the Cooling medium that penetrate the entire stack of heat exchanger plates 7.
  • the horizontal Channels 8 for the media to be cooled alternate with those for the cooling medium.
  • connection adapter 1 opposite side in and out.
  • the flow arrows make this clear.
  • a connection adapter 1 could also be provided.
  • a cutting disc 9 arranged in the flow channel 6 between the heat exchanger plates 7.
  • connection plate 2 of the connection adapter 1 has two holes 20 and 23.
  • the larger hole 20 receives the end 30 of the flow element 3, which is tightly soldered there.
  • the smaller one Bore 23 leads to a connecting channel 21 which this bore 23 with the gap 5, a Annular gap, connects.
  • a medium now flows through the larger bore 20 and the flow element 3 into the interior of the heat exchanger and the other medium is through the smaller hole 23 via the connecting channel 21 and the annular gap 5 into the interior of the heat exchanger reach.
  • Fig. 2 shows in principle a view from above, wherein, as can be seen, the size ratios are not quite the same.
  • connection adapters in two diagonally opposite corners 1 arranged - one for the feed and the other for the discharge of the two media.
  • the reference numbers are only entered in the connection adapter 1 shown in the picture above.
  • the two Bores 20 and 23 result from this and two further bores 22 each that are sealed Attachment of connection flanges serve.
  • the surface of the connection plate 2 is ordinary a very flat surface.
  • connection plate 2 From Fig. 2 it can also be clearly seen that the arrangement of the small bore 23 to the large one Bore 20 within the connection plate 2 can be selected as it is the present connection conditions accommodates.
  • the connecting channel 21 is in any case between the one, in this case the small bore 23 and the gap 5.
  • the size ratio the holes 20 and 23 are freely chosen and adapted to the conditions.
