Claims (7)
- Verfahren zur Herstellung von gewellten Metallrohren, wobei in das zu wellende, vorerst glatte, zylindrische Metallrohr ein radial spreizbarer Dom mit einer in seiner Achsrichtung verlaufenden Wellung eingebracht wird und mit - bezogen auf das Metallrohr - äußeren, gegen das Rohr zuzustellenden Bakken mit einer zur Wellung des Dornes zumindest annähernd korrespondierenden Wellung eine erste Wellung eingeprägt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorverformung der Wellung (20) des Rohres (1) in mehreren, gleichartigen, aufeinanderfolgenden Arbeitsschritten mit Dornen (2) und Backen (6) unterschiedlich hoher Wellungen (7, 8) erzeugt wird, wobei ausgehend vom zylindrischen Rohrstück das innere Wellental (9) nach innen gedrückt wird und anschließend in das so vorgeformte Rohr (1) ein radial spreizbarer Dorn (13) mit einem Außendurchmesser, der dem Innendurchmesser der vorgeformten Wellung (20) entspricht, eingesetzt wird, und daß in die Wellentäler (9) der vorgeformten Wellung (20) radial von außen scheibenförmige, voneinander vorerst distanzierte, das Rohr (1) umschließende Preßbacken (15) angestellt und diese Preßbacken (15) anschließend axial unter Auffaltung der Wellung (20) des Rohres (1) zusammengedrückt werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Vorverformung eine Wellung (20) erzeugt wird, bei der die Länge (1) einer Welle das Mehrfache ihrer Höhe (H), beispielsweise das Drei- bis Vierfache beträgt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Vorverformung eine Wellung (20) erzeugt wird, bei der die Länge (l1) der nach dem Inneren des Rohres gerichteten Wellentäler (9) nur einem Bruchteil der Länge (I2) der nach außen gerichteten Wellenberge (10) entspricht, beispielsweise 0,3 bis 0,6 beträgt, wobei die Längen ((I1, I2) in der Hälfte der Höhe (H) der Welle gemessen sind.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die nach dem Inneren des Rohres gerichteten Wellentäler (9) mit einem mittleren Flankenwinkel (α) von mindestens 45°, vorzugsweise 65°, ausgebildet werden.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vorgeformte Wellung (20) in der Folge so weit aufgefaltet wird, daß das Verhältnis von Wellenlänge zu ihrer Höhe ca. 1 : 1 beträgt.
- Vorrichtung zur Herstellung eines gewellten Metallrohres mittels des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, mit Werkzeuge bestehend aus (Dornen (2) und Backen (6)) unterschiedlich hoher Wellungen zur Erzeugung der Vorverformung der Wellung des Rohrs (1) und mit einem Werkzeug, welches einen radial spreizbaren Dom (13) mit einem Außendurchmesser, der dem Innendurchmesser der vorgeformten Wellung (20) entspricht, und das Rohr (1) außen umgebende Preßbacken (15) umfaßt, die in mehreren Ebenen paarweise vorgesehen und scheibenförmig ausgebildet sind, wobei jeder Preßbacken eine halbkreisförmige Öffnung (16) aufweist und die die Öffnung (16) begrenzende Fläche (17) stufenförmig abgesetzt ist und die Höhe (h) des Absatzes zumindest der Höhe der durch die Auffaltung gebildeten Wellung entspricht.
- Gewelltes Rohr, welches Wellenberge (10) und innere ringförmige Bereiche des Rohres bildende Wellentäler (9) umfaßt, hergestellt nach dem Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Wandstärke der inneren ringförmigen Bereiche größer ist als die der anderen Bereiche des Rohres.
