Definitions
- the invention relates to a banister with an intermediate Handrail and steps arranged and through upper and lower fixed connectors held connection and Barrier element.
- connection and Barrier elements made of balusters, which in the case of a Timber construction at the top and bottom each one fastened in it Hanger screw included, the free thread section with a connection part fixed on the handrail or on the step can be screwed in order to clamp the handrail.
- the object of the invention is to create a banister, that the clear view of the ends of the Treads are not impaired and also the narrow guardrail sequence avoids, but still the static requirements of the railing with regard to its connection or bracing with the steps is enough.
- the plate offers the possibility only a smaller number of holding part pairs than to use the otherwise necessary number of balusters, because even step plates with a larger appearance only on their front and rear ends over the plate to the handrail need to be connected and otherwise because of the Safety distance necessary intermediate rods and thus intermediate fittings omitted.
- the plate is preferably made of transparent plastic (e.g. polycarbonate), although similar beneficial effects also with metallic plates e.g. can be reached from perforated sheet.
- transparent plastic e.g. polycarbonate
- the plate has the shape of a parallelogram on, the side edges parallel to the handrail or to an entry or exit post supporting the handrail.
- the plate can also be advantageous Infill a railing to serve a spiral staircase, where then the plate is bent, e.g. has a cylindrical course.
- the holding parts are made expediently from round or polygonal profile and each contain at one end a slot receiving the plate and one extending through the cheeks formed on both sides of the slot Bore for the transverse one bridging the slot Dowel pin.
- the slot width in Holding part by a shaft section effective as a spacer of the dowel pin remains at its original size.
- the shaft portion of the bolt extend through both cheeks of the holding part so that the bolt head as well as a counter screw lateral boundaries of the spacer and thus prevent the cheeks pressed against the glass plate when tightening the counter screw become.
- the upper holding parts to be connected to the top of the plate preferably have a longer (e.g. 1.5 to 2 times) length than the holding parts to be connected to the lower side of the plate. Since the upper holding parts with their upper end in one blind bore emanating from the underside of the handrail can be prefabricated and in stock horizontal holding parts advantageous for different stairs or. Use handrail slopes so that they always with an approximately constant length from the blind bore of the The handrail protrude downwards and therefore also at plates adapted to different slopes can be.
- the aforementioned object is achieved in that that the distance between the handrail and steps is fanned by a plate that extends at least over a length of the railing, the fitting bolts traversing using openings in the plate can be connected to their underside with spacing holding parts and to the handrail receiving their upper side in a groove, the holding parts being releasably attached to the connecting parts fixed to the treads.
- the groove in the underside of the handrail is preferably at least 5 cm deep, which ensures that the same fitting bolts penetrating the handrail for secure anchoring have sufficient clearance from the underside of the handrail.
- This plate can also be inserted into a plate on at least one side Groove in the entry or exit post.
- the lower holding parts at its end facing the step an external thread section to which one is supported on the step and screwed-on sleeve widened relative to the holding part is.
- a banister 10 includes a handrail 12, the end of an entry post 14 anchored to the floor or is supported on an exit post, not shown.
- Upper holding parts 16 extend from the handrail 12 downwards which one e.g. plate made of transparent synthetic glass 22 is connected along its top.
- lower holding parts 18 are attached, via which the connection of the plate 22 with the steps 20a-d takes place.
- the steps 20a-d are indirect, i.e. with the participation of the plate 22 with the handrail 12 firmly connected to the stair load over the landing post 14 or removes the exit post, the plate 22 simultaneously as a transmission element for all forces and as barrier element ensuring the safety of the stairs serves.
- the plate 22, which can also be infilled in a balustrade section of the railing can form a parallelogram, its top and bottom sides parallel to the handrail 12 run while the end sides are parallel to the vertical entry post 14 run.
- Steps 20a-d connected to the handrail 12. Between plate 22 and a subsequent plate 32 can be a banister 26 may be provided, the distance between the plates 22 and 32 divided into narrow gaps. If steps 20 are not recessed or supported on the wall, they can be on both sides each with a banister 10 according to the invention be connected.
- Fig. 1 indicates that with a railing according to the invention 10 provided stairs make a generous aesthetic impression leaves, since the steps 20 not by railing bars supported, but floating on the glass plate 22 appear hung.
- Figure 2 shows a pair of opposed top and bottom Holding parts 16 and 18.
- a hanger bolt 30 vertically inserted, which is a rough at its upper end Has wood thread.
- the one with metric thread lower end of the hanger bolt 30 protrudes concentrically into one Countersunk bore 34 of the handrail 12 into it.
- the screwed on upper holding part 16 contains at its upper in the Counterbore 34 insertable cylindrical end a concentric Threaded hole 44.
- the upper holding part 16 Contains in its lower end protruding from the handrail 12 the upper holding part 16 has a cheek 48 on both sides limited slot 36 into which the plate 22 is loosely inserted is.
- the slot 36 is closed by one near its open end Dowel 38 passes through, which also passes through one of the top plate 22 extends near opening 46.
- Cheeks 48 have an approximately semi-cylindrical cross section. 3, the cheeks 48 an opening 50 and 54, in which the shaft of the dowel bolt 38 added with little play or sliding fit becomes.
- the fitting bolt 38 extends from its head 52 through the opening 50 and extends through the slot 36 into the Opening 54 of the opposite cheek 48.
- a counter screw 56 is received in a threaded bore of the fitting bolt 38, so that when tightening this counter screw 56 the width of the Slot 36 remains at its original value, at that between plate 22 and holding part essentially none There is friction.
- disc-shaped intermediate layers made of felt or the like material be inserted between plate 22 and cheeks 48.
- the slot 36 extends to a slot base 40 designed as a convex arc, which, apart from design reasons, the purpose is that Damage to the top or bottom edge during assembly an art glass plate due to scraping or on it falling edges of a straight slot bottom avoided become.
- the Slot length is substantially the same, the upper 2 have a larger overall length, with the holding part 16 in the from the bottom of the Handrail 12 outgoing counterbore 34 is set.
- Fig. 4 shows the connection of the plate 22 with handrail 12 and Treads 20a, b using an advanced Embodiment of the upper and lower holding parts 16 and 18 a further developed embodiment.
- Counter screw 56 shown goes with the modified holding parts 16, 18 from the free end of the fitting bolt 38 a short thread approach 64 with reduced diameter, which instead of one the opening 54 (FIG. 3) is provided with a threaded bore 66 the cheek 48 is screwed in.
- the modified lower holding part 18 has in its lower Extend an external thread section 48.
- One on it a sleeve 60 screwed onto a complementary internal thread is supported on step 20a.
- Fig. 5 shows another embodiment according to the invention.
- the plate 22 is with its top in one the underside of the handrail 12 preferably up to about half of it centrally inserted groove 62 and included in it in the handrail 12 releasably attached, the plate 22 on their Bolts 68 penetrating openings 46 secured.
- the lower holding parts 18 are on her lower section with adjustable along the longitudinal axis of the holding part Sleeves 60 equipped so that manufacturing tolerances of the to be able to compensate for the entire staircase structure. Distribute additionally the sleeves 60 advantageously between them and the Steps 20a occurring forces through more favorable leverage and contact surfaces.
