    2. A rocker switch according to claim 1 characterised in that the slide member (40) is directly engaged with an oblong recess (72) provided on the periphery of the actuating lever (4).
    3. A rocker switch according to claim 2 characterised in that said slide member is provided with a projection (71) for coupling to the actuating lever (4), in engagement with an oblong recess (72) provided on the periphery of the actuating lever and extending radially.
    4. A rocker switch according to claim 3 characterised in that the projection (71) is offset transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the slide member (40).
    5. A rocker switch according to any one of claims 2 to 4 characterised in that the direction of translatory movement of the slide member (40) is parallel to the chord connecting the two limit positions of the oblong recess (72).
    6. A rocker switch according to claim 5 characterised in that the inclination of the slide member (40) with respect to the longitudinal axis of the casing (1) is substantially 45°.
    7. A rocker switch according to any one of the preceding claims characterised in that a resilient means (73, 76) co-operates with the actuating lever (4) in order to urge the actuating lever either towards one of its limit positions or the other, depending on whether it is on one side or the other of an intermediate position.
    8. A rocker switch according to claims 3 and 7 in combination characterised in that the plate portion (70) of the slide member (40) carrying the projection (71) for coupling to the actuating lever (4) and the resilient means (73, 76) extend in two separate halves of the casing (1).
    9. A rocker switch according to any one of the preceding claims characterised in that it comprises two circuits, the terminals of one circuit being longitudinally displaced with respect to those of the other.
    10. A rocker switch according to claim 9 characterised in that, at the location of one of the small lateral sides of the casing (1), the connection (31) corresponding to the terminal closest to the front face of said casing (1) comprises, in the interior of a recess (10) in which the terminals are isolated from each other, a portion extending longitudinally towards said front face of the casing (1) while the connection (33) corresponding to the other terminal has only a portion extending in the direction of the width of the casing (1).
