Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for filling packaging, in particular paper bags or the like, with a molding chamber for pre-compressing the filling material, which is designed to be immersed in the packaging and for emptying the pre-compressed filling material into the packaging, with a lockable feed device for the filling material into the Molding chamber and with a closure device at the bottom of the molding chamber.
- the filling material is compressed with the aid of suction elements immersed in the filling material. After compression, the molding chamber is first sunk into the open packaging and then the bottom flap of the molding chamber is opened. The compacted product is then discharged into the packaging.
- a method for pre-compressing powdery material by air extraction using a vacuum suction device is already known (CH-A-569 620).
- filling material is filled into a stationary molding chamber to which a vacuum suction device is connected.
- the air above the level is sucked out of the closed molding chamber.
- the inlet to the chamber is opened again and the floor on which the compacted material block rests is pivoted to the side so that the compacted material block can fall under its own weight into a container underneath.
- the object of the invention is to design a device of the type presumed to be known in such a way that rapid filling with compressed material is possible using simple, reliable elements.
- the compression takes place by means of vacuum suction, which takes place above the fill level of the undensified filling material. So there is no contact between the suction elements and the contents. The result of this is that contamination is also reliably avoided.
- An inlet device 6 for the filling material designated 13 is connected to a storage container 8.
- a shut-off valve 7 is provided in the inlet device 6 below the storage container, which prevents the filling material from trickling out of the storage container in the closed state.
- the funnel-shaped edge region 5 of a molding chamber denoted by 1 bears against the sealing flange 10 of the inlet device 6.
- the edge region 5 is open at the top and can lie tightly against the sealing flange 10.
- the molding chamber 1 has a base 2 which can be held in the closed position according to FIG. 1 by a pivotable pressure device 3. In Figure 3, the pressure device 3 is pivoted back, so it is no longer on the bottom 2.
- a shaking device 4 for shaking this molding chamber 1 is attached to the molding chamber 1.
- a suction bell 9 forms the lower end of a suction nozzle 14.
- the suction nozzle 14 is an element of a vacuum suction device, which is not shown in more detail.
- a packaging 12 for example a paper bag opened in a rectangular or cuboid shape, is arranged below the molding chamber 1 in a cassette 11.
- the cassette consists of two side walls 11a and 11b and a bottom 11c.
- the suction nozzle 14 with suction bell 9 can be lowered from the position shown in FIG. 1. This takes place initially after the filling process in the molding chamber 1.
- the shut-off valve 7 ensures that no further filling material can then slide down.
- the suction cup 9 is funnel-shaped on the upper Shut down the edge area 5 of the molding chamber 1 until the suction cup lies tightly against the edge area 5. Then the suction of the air space begins with the result that the loosely filled material is compressed.
- the pressure device 3 is pivoted from the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 into the release position (see FIG. 3). Due to the resulting vacuum, the bottom 2 remains firmly pressed against the lower edge of the molding chamber 1.
- the suction bell 9, the suction nozzle 14 and the mold chamber which is open at the bottom are then moved downwards together while maintaining the vacuum until the position shown in FIG. 3 is reached.
- the vacuum is then first released, then the base 2, which is designed as a flap, is pivoted into the release position according to FIG. 4, and the compacted material is then introduced from the molding chamber 1 into the packaging 12 by actuating the vibrating device.
- the molding chamber 1 and the suction bell 9 with suction nozzle 14 are moved back into their starting position, which is shown in FIG. 5.
- the device is now ready to carry out the next molding and filling process.
- the described pre-compression process can be followed by additional compression processes, which can be carried out with the aid of all conventional compression devices, such as, for example, vibrating devices or vacuum suction cups.
- This locking device has two front holding hooks 50 and 51 and two rear holding hooks 52 and 53.
- the holding hooks can be displaced in the longitudinal direction along the molding chamber 1.
- the drive takes place via actuating cylinders 54 and 55.
- the holding hooks ensure absolutely secure contact of the flap 2 on the lower edge of the molding chamber 1.
- a cleaning brush 56 is also provided (cf. FIG. 9) which sweeps over the bottom flap 2 after each emptying process. The stripped residual material is sucked off via a suction pipe 57.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for filling packaging, in particular paper bags or the like, with a molding chamber for pre-compressing the filling material, which is designed to be immersed in the packaging and for emptying the pre-compressed filling material into the packaging, with a lockable feed device for the filling material into the Molding chamber and with a closure device at the bottom of the molding chamber.
In a known device of this type (DE-A-31 35 885), the filling material is compressed with the aid of suction elements immersed in the filling material. After compression, the molding chamber is first sunk into the open packaging and then the bottom flap of the molding chamber is opened. The compacted product is then discharged into the packaging.
In this known device, it is disadvantageous that the suction candles, which are immersed in the filling material, must be blown free before each filling. This significantly reduces the filling speed.
Furthermore, a method for pre-compressing powdery material by air extraction using a vacuum suction device is already known (CH-A-569 620). In this known method, filling material is filled into a stationary molding chamber to which a vacuum suction device is connected. The air above the level is sucked out of the closed molding chamber. Then the inlet to the chamber is opened again and the floor on which the compacted material block rests is pivoted to the side so that the compacted material block can fall under its own weight into a container underneath.
On the basis of the prior art mentioned at the outset, the object of the invention is to design a device of the type presumed to be known in such a way that rapid filling with compressed material is possible using simple, reliable elements.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt mit den Merkmalen des Kennzeichnungsteils von Anspruch 1.This object is achieved with the features of the labeling part of
In the device according to the invention, the compression takes place by means of vacuum suction, which takes place above the fill level of the undensified filling material. So there is no contact between the suction elements and the contents. The result of this is that contamination is also reliably avoided.
Preferred embodiments of the device are described in the subclaims.

An
At further processing stations, the described pre-compression process can be followed by additional compression processes, which can be carried out with the aid of all conventional compression devices, such as, for example, vibrating devices or vacuum suction cups.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 6 to 9, in addition to the
So that no filling material can get between the sealing surfaces, a cleaning
