Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fuel injection valve according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a generic fuel injection valve is already known from DE-PS 31 02 642.
  • a guide ring with the guide cylinder and the valve seat on the one hand and a part referred to as a nozzle with an outlet opening for the fuel to be injected on the other hand are separate parts.
  • the guide ring is held in the nozzle with a press fit. This requires high dimensional accuracy of the individual parts and a high installation effort for the fuel injector. Slightly exceeding the dimensional tolerances of these individual parts lead to a deformation of the valve seat during assembly of the fuel injection valve and also to poor concentricity of the guide cylinder to the valve seat and the outlet opening. This results in an increasingly uneven fuel jet image.
  • the fuel injection valve according to the invention with the characterizing features of claim 1 has the advantage that the assembly effort is reduced and the guide cylinder, valve seat and injection opening are exactly aligned with the axis of the valve seat body. This high accuracy is possible within narrow tolerances. A consistently precise response of the fuel injection valve with a constantly precise injection time, exact metering of the fuel with an improved fuel spray pattern is achieved. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the subclaims.
