Definitions
- the invention relates to a fuel injection valve according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a generic fuel injection valve is already known from DE-PS 31 02 642.
- a guide ring with the guide cylinder and the valve seat on the one hand and a part referred to as a nozzle with an outlet opening for the fuel to be injected on the other hand are separate parts.
- the guide ring is held in the nozzle with a press fit. This requires high dimensional accuracy of the individual parts and a high installation effort for the fuel injector. Slightly exceeding the dimensional tolerances of these individual parts lead to a deformation of the valve seat during assembly of the fuel injection valve and also to poor concentricity of the guide cylinder to the valve seat and the outlet opening. This results in an increasingly uneven fuel jet image.
- the fuel injection valve according to the invention with the characterizing features of claim 1 has the advantage that the assembly effort is reduced and the guide cylinder, valve seat and injection opening are exactly aligned with the axis of the valve seat body. This high accuracy is possible within narrow tolerances. A consistently precise response of the fuel injection valve with a constantly precise injection time, exact metering of the fuel with an improved fuel spray pattern is achieved. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the subclaims.
- FIG. 1 shows the sectional view of the valve seat area of a fuel injection valve
- FIG. 2 shows the valve seat body of the fuel injection valve as a detail.
- the fuel injection valve 1 shown in FIG. 1 for a fuel injection system of compression-ignition, spark-ignition internal combustion engines has a valve housing 3 with a through opening 4, in which a valve seat body 5 is fastened by means of a welded connection 6.
- the valve seat body 5 is provided with a central, bore-like guide cylinder 7. Downstream of the guide Cylinder 7, valve seat body 5 also has a valve seat 8 and, subsequently, at least one outlet opening 9 for fuel injection into an intake manifold of an internal combustion engine.
- a tubular valve closing member 10 with radial openings 11 projects through the passage opening 4.
- the valve closing member 10 On the side facing the valve seat 8, the valve closing member 10 carries a valve closing body 12, for example in the form of a hardened ball.
- the valve closing member 10 On the side facing away from the valve seat 8, the valve closing member 10 carries an armature 15 made of soft magnetic material.
- the valve closing body 12 projects into the guide cylinder 7 with tight play and, when the fuel injection valve 1 is closed, bears against the valve seat 8.
- the wall of the guide cylinder 7 is provided with swirl grooves 16 extending obliquely to the axis of the valve closing member 10.
- a groove 22 runs in a ring shape between the guide cylinder 7 and the valve seat 8 and thus interrupts the transition of the swirl grooves 16 to the valve seat 8.
- a compression spring 17 acts on the valve closing member 10 in the closing direction.
- a solenoid 18 is arranged adjacent to the armature 15 in such a way that, as soon as it is excited, the armature 15 lifts against the closing direction.
- valve seat body 5 shown in FIG. 2 clearly shows the swirl grooves 16 which are inclined to the axis of the valve seat body 5.
- valve seat 8 and the at least one outlet opening 9 can be seen.
- special machining accuracy is necessary for the guide cylinder 7, to which the valve seat 8 must be concentric, so that the valve closing member 10 lifts or seals quickly from the valve seat 8 when opening and closing.
- the friction path between the valve closing member 10 and the valve seat 8 is thereby kept as short as possible.
- An outer surface 20 of the valve seat body 5 may Guide cylinder 7 may be slightly eccentric, since this does not have a disadvantageous effect due to the length of the valve closing member 10 and the spherical shape of the valve closing body 12.
- an electrical circuit (not shown) of the magnetic coil 18 is closed.
- the magnetic forces then effective attract armature 15.
- the valve closing body 12 of the valve closing member 10 is moved away from the valve seat 8 against the pressure spring 17, so that the fuel passes through the valve closing member 10 and its radial openings 11 through the swirl grooves 16 to the valve seat 8 and downstream to it can reach at least one outlet opening 9 and can be hosed down.
- the circumferential groove 22 between the guide cylinder 7 and the valve seat 8 enables a more uniform fuel distribution, as a result of which the fuel preparation is additionally improved.
- the final shape of guide cylinders 7 and / or valve seat 8 and / or the swirl grooves 16 in guide cylinder 7 in valve seat body 5 can be produced in a particularly cost-effective and dimensionally accurate manner.
- the embossing is carried out in a known manner by means of appropriately designed embossing tools.

Abstract
