Definitions

  • Partition wall especially for exhibition halls
  • the invention relates to a partition, in particular for exhibition halls, composed of a plurality of rectangular, inherently rigid wall elements which can be readably connected to one another by means of coupling elements and each have a frame formed from different profile rails and filled by at least one panel, the frame legs of which are joined together by separate corner pieces who are connected.
  • a partition system of the type mentioned, which has self-supporting wall elements, has already been proposed (DE-OS 34 44 521).
  • the invention is based on the object of designing such a partition wall in such a way that its wall elements have a smaller volume weight than before and are still stable without loss of stability - -
  • the object is achieved with a partition of the type mentioned at the outset in that the panels of the individual wall elements are anchored to the frame as lightweight structural elements with two cover plates and at least one advised distance from the cover plates, for anchoring holding members, such as nails or Schrauoen, suitable inner plate are formed and the space between the inner plate and cover plates is provided with a light but stiffening Uaben filling.
  • the inner plate can expediently be formed from a micro chipboard.
  • the frame of the wall elements can in turn be designed with relatively little weight, for example from extruded profile rail sections made of light metal or a plastic material.
  • the vertical frame legs of the frame of the wall elements can be provided on their outer end face with an outer groove or a matching outer spring bar, each with a conical cross-section, have outer lateral contact surfaces for the edge areas of the two cover plates of the panel and on the inside at least one attachment surface for the inner plate of the panel. Due to the fact that its edge area lies against the vertical frame legs and is, for example, firmly If the cover plates are glued and the edge of the inner plate is glued to the inside attachment surface of the vertical frame legs, the vertical frame legs are literally integrated into the wall filling.
  • the mating outer grooves and outer spring bars of the vertical frame legs with their conical cross-section bring about a clean centering of adjoining wall elements, wherein the edge stops provided on the outer end face can ensure a precise, in particular very small, distance between adjacent wall elements.
  • the outer spring web of the vertical frame legs can advantageously be hollow.
