Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hand lever gear for screwing onto the narrow casement of windows, doors or the like.
  • a rotating or rotating / tilting sash, a parallel parking sash or a adjustable tilting / sliding sash with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • a hand lever transmission of this type is known from FR-OS 2560271.
  • Firmly connected to the hand lever e.g. screwed, a pinion is provided as the drive member, which engages with its teeth in the rack sections of two driver slides which are guided longitudinally displaceably on the longitudinal sides of the housing, in order to displace them in opposite directions when the pinion rotates.
  • the driver slides are designed so that they have a common sliding surface along the longitudinal center line of the screw-on housing. This longitudinal center line is also cut through the axis of rotation of the pinion and the hand lever.
  • each driver slide has a part which extends across the entire inside width of the screw-on housing and has a plurality of coupling openings which are arranged at a mutual distance from one another transversely to the longitudinal direction of the screw-on housing and are used for repositioning a driver member protruding from the screw-on housing into the casement.
  • the stroke length of the driver slide is limited by the fact that the diameter of the pinion can at most correspond to the clear width of the screw-on housing.
  • the width and length of the interior of the screw-on housing are required completely for the accommodation and displacement of the driver slides.
  • the known hand lever gear is only suitable for actuation from one side of the wing and cannot be equipped with a locking bolt or cylinder lock arranged in the screw-on housing even without enlarging the screw-on housing.
  • the several insertion openings for repositioning the driving link serve to be able to use the hand lever gear either for the stop on the left or the right wing side.
  • a disadvantage of this known screw-on hand lever mechanism is that it cannot be actuated from both sides, ie from the inside of the wing and from the outside of the wing.
  • So-called intake gearboxes which together with a Locking lock can be inserted from the rebate side of the wing into a side recess in the wing frame.
  • intake gearboxes In the case of narrow casements, however, the use of such intake gearboxes is problematic since only a relatively small stroke and thus small adjustment movements can be achieved with an intake gearbox which is only narrow, and which are not sufficient for all applications.
  • a hand lever gear for screwing onto a wing e.g. a garage door
  • an elongated, narrow screw-on housing with a bearing for a hand lever and a drive element connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner is also provided in the form of a disk-shaped crank element.
  • the axis of rotation of the hand lever intersects the longitudinal center line of the screw-on housing.
  • Two links are articulated to the drive member, the free ends of which each engage directly on the ends of locking rods, which are likewise arranged and guided on the outside of the wing and whose ends protrude directly into the screw-on housing.
  • This known hand lever gear has a polygonal insertion opening on the hand lever or on the drive member for a straight coupling member protruding through the wing to the other wing side, to which a second external hand lever or the like can be attached to actuate the hand lever gear.
  • the hand lever transmission according to the invention relates to such a design in which the drive rod or the like is guided in the area of the sash on the sash frame and therefore the driving member assigned to the driving slide must protrude out of the screw-on housing into the sash frame in order to be there on the driving rod or to be able to attack.
  • this transverse displacement of the axis of rotation of the hand lever and driver element creates the possibility of providing a large distance between the axis of rotation and the articulation point of the handlebar on the drive element in comparison with the width of the narrow screw-on housing, which is decisive for the length of travel of the driver slide caused by pivoting the hand lever and thus the displacement path of the drive rod or the like coupled to the driver member.
  • the large transverse distance between the axis of rotation of the hand lever and the driving link also ensures the secure coupling between the driving link and drive rod in frame profiles, for example with three rebate stops, which have a larger backset of, for example, 40 mm.
  • the new hand lever gear can also be easily equipped with a locking bolt and a lock cylinder in the screw-on housing, the screw-on housing for the locking bolt and a corresponding guide Lock cylinder has a corresponding storage and the axis of rotation of the lock cylinder from the driver member has the same transverse distance as the axis of rotation of the hand lever.
  • the hand lever gear can thus be converted by simply inserting the locking bolt and inserting the locking cylinder if locking the hand lever gear in the closed position of the hand lever is required or desired, which is particularly desirable in the presence of a second hand lever arranged on the opposite side of the wing.
  • the driver link on the driver slide can be designed to be reversible according to the type shown in FR-OS 2560271.
  • training in accordance with the teaching of claim 2 is preferred.
  • the advantage is obtained that in the open position or in the parked position of the wing and the corresponding position of the hand lever, the wing is fixed by the dead center position of the handlebars and cannot be transferred into the closed position by hand or by wind pressure.
  • the screw-on hand lever gear shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 has an elongated screw-on housing 3, which can be closed on the inside if necessary by a cover, not shown, which e.g. can be fixed by means of screws and the threaded openings 21 on the housing.
  • a hand lever 2 is mounted in the screw-on housing 3 so as to be rotatable about the axis of rotation 5 and, as illustrated in FIG. 4, can be pivoted between a wing closing position I, a wing tilting position II and a wing open position III.
  • the hand lever 2 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a drive member 4 arranged in the housing 3, to which a link 7 is articulated at 6, the other end of which is articulated at 8 to a slide 9 which moves in a guide 10 of the housing 3 between a lowermost position Figure 1 and an uppermost position according to Figure 3 is guided.
  • the lowest position according to FIG. 1 corresponds to the open position, the uppermost position according to FIG. 3 to the closed position and the middle position of the slide according to FIG. 2 to the tilting position of the wing.
  • the driver slide 9 has a driver member 25 which projects out of the housing 3 and possibly through the cover closing it into a longitudinal slot of the casement.
  • the driving member 25 has a fork or an engagement opening 25a, in which, when the gearbox is screwed on, a driving pin of an actuating rod of the gearbox slidably guided in the wing rebate on the wing engages.
  • the driver member 25 has a fixed predetermined transverse distance a from the axis of rotation 5 of the hand lever 2, which in a preferred embodiment e.g. Is 30 mm.
  • a lock cylinder 11 is mounted in the housing 3, the axis of rotation of which is at the same fixed predetermined distance a from the driver element 25 as the axis of rotation 5 of the hand lever 2.
  • the locking cylinder 11 actuates with his finger 12 a locking bolt 13 guided on a rib 14 or the like, which engages with two lateral projections 13a in corresponding recesses 9a of the driving slide 9 when the slide is in its uppermost position according to FIG. 3 or Sash is in the closed position.
  • the two different positions of the bolt 13 are fixed by a catch 15, 17 and corresponding latching recesses 16 on the bolt 13.
  • the hand lever 2 and / or the drive member 4 connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner have a polygonal insertion opening 20.
  • a correspondingly polygonal drive rod 23 is inserted into this, which extends through the sash frame and connects the hand lever 2 in a rotationally fixed manner to an actuating handle 24 arranged on the opposite side of the frame.
  • the gear housing 3 can be screwed onto the frame itself by means of bores 18 or can be firmly connected to a bearing plate 27 on the other side of the frame via connecting elements 22 which extend through the frame.
  • the lock cylinder can be actuated, for example, by a removable key 26.
  • the gear is used in a wing with a wooden frame.
  • the frame is designated 30 and the sash frame 31, the sash rebate 35 and the fold stops provided between the frame parts with 32, 33 and 34, the stop 33 being assigned a circumferential seal.
  • a groove is incorporated in the fold, which is covered by a cover rail 37 and in an actuating rod 36 of the transmission is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner.
  • this actuating rod has a driver pin 38 protruding into the fold 35, but additionally also a driver pin 39 pointing to the base of the groove.
  • the driver pins are arranged coaxially, in such a way that they are both suitable for engaging in the recess 25a of the driver member 25.
  • the fixed predetermined dimension "a" between the axis of rotation 5 of the hand lever 2 and the driver member 25 is too small for the engagement of the driver member 25 with the external pin 38.
  • the slot worked through the wooden profile lies through which the driving member 25 engages so that the driving member 25 projects into the groove and engages with the driving pin 39 arranged there.
  • the same unchanged screw-on hand lever mechanism is used in connection with hollow profile frames, in which only two fold stops 42 and 43 are provided between frame 40 and casement 41.
  • the predetermined fixed dimension "a" corresponds to the distance between the axis of rotation (5) of the hand lever and the external driver pin 46 of the drive rod 44, which is arranged in the groove behind the locking rail 45.
  • the slot in the wing profile 41 is provided for the passage of the driving member 25 in the wing flap, so that the driving member 25 engages with the outer pin 46, while the inner pin 47 is not used in this case.
  • the new hand lever gearbox is particularly advantageous for narrow casements where there is little or no possibility of adjustment by moving the screw-on housing on the casement. This applies in particular when using the new hand lever transmission with an inner and an outer operating lever.
  • a fixed distance "a" is specified between the axis of rotation of the hand lever and the driving element and the adaptation to different fold formation is carried out by two coupling pins arranged on both sides of the drive rod, with which the driving element can be selectively brought into engagement.
  • only a coupling pin or the like can be provided on the drive rod, which can optionally be fastened on one or the other side via a threaded bore in the drive rod.
  • the driver member itself can be coupled or connected to the driver 9 instead of at a fixed distance from the axis of rotation of the lever at different distances from this axis of rotation.
  • the driver can e.g. Attachment options for the driver link can be provided at two points.
  • the driver link can also be fixedly or releasably attached to the drive rod and coupled to the driver at different points.
  • the formation of the driver as a slide or the way of the drive connection between the hand lever and the driver can be designed in various known ways.
  • the new hand lever gear can also be used on sashes with a wide frame.
  • the problems identified are less critical in such cases. In practice, there are usually only narrow casements for which the invention is particularly advantageous.
