Claims (8)

  1. A portable high-pressure washer comprising a pump unit (10) including a housing (12) surrounding a motor (24), a pump block (26) flanged thereto and associated armatures, and an associated washing pistol (53) including an outlet tube (52) and at least one spray tube (66) connectable thereto, as well as an electrical cable (68), a water connection (42) and a hose (62) to connect the washing pistol (53) with an exit terminal (40) of the pump block (26), the shape of the housing (12) being closely adapted to the outer contures of the pump unit (10) and being provided with a handle (48) integral with the housing (12) and projecting upward into a parallel position in respect of the longitudinal axis of the pump unit (10) in operating position, wherein that portion of the handle (48) extending in parallel with the longitudinal axis of the pump unit (10) is provided with a longitudinally extending recess (50) for receiving the outlet tube (52) of said washing pistol (53), and projections (58, 64) having one or two recesses (54, 56) each are, spaced to each other, arranged laterally at the housing (12) in a parallel position in respect of the, in operating position, essentially horizontal longitudinal axis of the pump unit, serving as a support for one or two spray tubes (66) which for storage is/are insertable into the recesses (54, 56), separate from the washing pistol (53).
  2. The high-pressure washer of claim 1, characterized in that the upward projecting portion (46) of said handle (48) surrounds a capacitor (28) of said motor (24).
  3. The high-pressure washer of claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that a semi-circular drum (60) open in upward direction is formed at said housing (12) at the rear end side thereof for receiving a hose roll (62).
  4. The high-pressure washer of any of the preceding claims, characterized in that a groove-type recess (72) extending normal to the longitudinal axis of said pump unit (10) is formed at the top side of said housing (12) in the region of the transition between motor (24) and pump block (26) for receiving an electrical cable (68).
  5. The high-pressure washer of any of the preceding claims, characterized in that said housing (12) comprises two housing half-shells (14, 16) connected with each other by connecting means and formed of synthetic material.
  6. The high-pressure washer of claim 5, characterized in that the two half-shells (14, 16) are closed at their front ends by a cover element (20).
  7. The high-pressure washer of any of the preceding claims, characterized in that in the interior of said housing (12), in particular in the region of said cover element (20), mounting means (88) for tools are formed.
  8. The high-pressure washer of claim 5, 6 or 7, characterized in that the two housing half-shells (14, 16) comprise a bottom half (82) each, having the motor (24) fixed thereto.
