Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine neue Hilfsmittelkombination und ihre Verwendung als Textilveredelungsmittel insbesondere in Nachbehandlungs-Verfahren für Wollfärbungen.
- Aus der DE-B 1 281 998 sind diquatemäre Ammoniumsalze mit vorzugsweise zwei höhermolekularen aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffresten bekannt, die zusammen mit nichtionogenen Dispergiermitteln, wie z.B. Polyglykolether von Amiden höherer Fettsäuren beim Färben von stickstoffhaltigen Fasem verwendet werden können.
- Es wurde eine Hilfsmittelkombination von kationischen Verbindungen mit derartigen diquatemären Ammoniumsalzen gefunden, welche sich gegenüber den bisher bekannten Mitteln für die Verbesserung der Echtheiten, vor allem Naß- und Reibechtheiten von Wollfärbungen dadurch auszeichnet, daß sie nicht nur die Echtheiten verbessert, sondern auch fähig ist, die Anschmutztendenz des Textilmaterials zu unterdrücken, welche z.B. durch Staub (Trockenanschmutzung) oder durch Wiederaufziehen von in der Wäscherei aus Wasch- oder Lösungsmiftelflotten abgelösten Schmutz (Naßanschmutzung) bewirkt wird. Dank den zusätzlichen weichmachenden Eigenschaften verleiht die neue Kombination dem Textilmaterial auch einen weichen, flauschigen Griff und vermittelt somit angenehme Trageeigenschaften.
- Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist daher eine Hilfsmittelkombination von kationischen Verbindungen, welche dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß sie aus
- (1) einem diquaternären Ammoniumsalz der Formel
- Q einen zweiwertigen, gegebenenfalls in der Kette durch Sauerstoff unterbrochenen und gegebenenfalls durch Hydroxylgruppen substituierten aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 2 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen,
- R1 und Rz, unabhängig voneinander, je einen aliphatischen Rest mit 6 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatomen,
- R3 bis R6, unabhängig voneinander, je Niederalkyl, Hydroxyniederalkyl oder Niederalkoxyniederalkyl,
- X1 und X2je Sauerstoff oder -NH-,
- Z1 und Z2, unabhängig voneinander, je Alkylen mit 2 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen und
- Ye ein Anion einer starken anorganischen oder organischen Säure bedeuten, wobei der Ausdruck "Nieder" sich auf solche Gruppen mit 1 bis 5 Kohlenstoffatomen bezieht, und
- (2) (A) einem mono- oder polyquaternären Ammoniumsalz, welches wenigstens einen an das Stickstoffatom gebundenen Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit mindestens 7 Kohlenstoffatomen aufweist oder (B) einem polymeren Ammoniumsalz oder (C) einem basischen nicht quaternierten stickstoffhaltigen Polykondensat besteht.
- Die Komponenten (1) und (2) können als Einzelverbindungen oder als Gemische untereinander vorhanden sein.
- Niederalkyl und Niederalkoxy stellen bei der Definition der Reste in Formel (1) und in den nachfolgenden Formeln solche Gruppen oder Gruppenbestandteile dar, die 1 bis 5, insbesondere 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen, wie z.B. Methyl, Ethyl, n-Propyl, Isopropyl, n-Butyl, sek.-Butyl, tert.-Butyl oder Amyl bzw. Methoxy, Ethoxy oder Isopropoxy.
- Die aliphatischen Reste R1 und R2 können geradkettig oder verzweigt sein. Sie stellen zusammen mit der CO-Gruppe vorteilhafterweise den Säurerest einer ungesättigten oder vorzugsweise gesättigten aliphatischen Carbonsäure mit 8 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatomen dar. Als aliphatische Carbonsäuren seien beispielsweise 2-Ethyl-hexansäure, Caprin-, Laurin-, Kokosfett-, Myristin-, Palmkemfettsäure, Palmitin-, Talgfett-, Oel-, Ricinolein-, Linol-, Linolen-, Stearin-, Arachin-, Arachidon-, Behen-, Eruca- oder Lignocerinsäure genannt. Behensäure ist die bevorzugte Säure. Es können auch Gemische dieser Säuren verwendet werden, wie sie bei der Spaltung von natürlichen Oelen oder Fetten gewonnen werden.
- Kokosfettsäure, Palmkemfettsäure, Palmitin-/Stearinsäuregemische, Talgfettsäure und vor allem Arachin-/Behensäuregemische sind besonders bevorzugte Gemische.
- Vorzugsweise bedeuten Ri und R2 jeweils einen Alkylrest mit 7 bis 23 Kohlenstoffatomen und insbesondere mit 19 bis 21 Kohlenstoffatomen.
- Die niedrigen Reste R3 bis R6 sind vorzugsweise identisch und stellen insbesondere Methyl, Ethyl, Isopropyl oder Hydroxyethyl dar. Dabei ist Methyl besonders bevorzugt.

- Die aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffkette im Brückenglied Q weist vorzugsweise 3 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatome auf. Sie kann geradkettig oder verzweigt sein.

- Als Anionen Ye kommen sowohl Anionen anorganischer Säuren, wie z.B. das Chlorid-, Bromid-, Fluorid-, Jodid- oder Sulfat-lon als auch Anionen organischer Säuren, z.B. aromatischer oder aliphatischer Sulfonsäuren, wie z.B. Benzolsulfonat-, p-Toluolsulfonat-, Chlorbenzolsulfonat-, Methan- oder Ethansulfonat-lon, ferner die Anionen niederer Carbonsäuren, wie z.B. Acetat-, Propionat- oder Oxalation.
- Ye ist vor allem das Chlorid-, Bromid-, Sulfat- oder p-Toluolsulfonat-lon.
- Die Herstellung der diquaternären Ammoniumsalze der Formel (I) erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise. Vorzugsweise kann die Herstellung dadurch erfolgen, dass man je 1 Mol einer Verbindung der Formeln

- Die Umsetzung erfolgt vorzugsweise in einem polaren Lösungsmittel und nötigenfalls unter Zusatz einer Halogenwasserstoffsäure, wie z.B. Chlorwasserstoffsäure oder Schwefelsäure.
- Geeignete polare Lösungsmittel sind Wasser oder vorzugsweise mit Wasser mischbare organische Lösungsmittel. Beispiele von mit Wasser mischbaren organischen Lösungsmitteln sind aliphatische C1-Cs-Alkohole, wie z.B. Methanol, Ethanol oder die Propanole; Alkylenglykole, wie z.B. Ethylenglykol oder Propylenglykol; Monoalkylether von Glykolen, wie z.B. Ethylenglykolmonomethyl-, -ethyl- oder -butylether und Diethylenglykolmonomethyl- oder -ethylether; Ketone, wie z.B. Aceton und Diacetonalkohol; Ether, wie Diisopropylether, Diphenyloxid, Dioxan, Tetrahydrofuran, sowie Tetrahydrofurfurylalkohol, Acetonitril, y-Butyrolacton, N,N-Dimethylformamid. Auch Mischungen der genannten Lösungsmittel können verwendet werden.
- Als quatemäre Ammoniumsalze (A) für die Komponente (2) können Umsetzungsprodukte von aliphatischen oder araliphatischen Mono- und/oder Diaminen, welche tertiäre Aminogruppen und einen lipophilen Rest enthalten, mit Epihalogenhydrin eingesetzt werden. Derartige Verbindungen sind z.B. in der DE-AS 1 092 878 oder DE-PS 1 921 827 beschrieben.
- Vorzugsweise besteht die Komponente (2) (A) aus mindestens einer der folgenden quatemären Ammonium-Verbindungen:
- (a) ein mono- oder diquaternäres Ammoniumsalz der Formel
- (a) ein mono- oder diquaternäres Ammoniumsalz der Formel
- (a) ein mono- oder diquaternäres Ammoniumsalz der Formel

Benzyl,
- V1-V9, unabhängig voneinander, je Niederalkyl oder Hydroxy-Niederalkyl, wie z.B. Hydroxyethyl, Ethyl oder vorzugsweise Methyl,
- Hal ein Halogenatom, wie z.B. Brom oder vorzugsweise Chlor,

- Y1 9 und Y2 e je ein Anion einer starken anorganischen oder organischen Säure bedeuten.

- Als polymeres Ammoniumsalz (B) in Komponente (2) eignet sich vorteilhafterweise ein wasserlösliches Umsetzungsprodukt eines peralkylierten Di- oder Triamines mit einem Dihalogenalkan, Dihalogendimethyl-diphenyl, Dihalogenalkylether oder vorzugsweise einem Epihalogenhydrin. Derartige polymere quatemäre Ammoniumsalze sind z.B. in der DE-OS 26 57 582 und 28 24 743 beschrieben.

- Als basische nichtquaternierte stickstoffhaltige Polykondensate (C) in Komponente (2) können Aminogruppen aufweisende Kondensate, die durch Umsetzung von Dicyandiamid, Cyanamid, Guanidin oder Bisguanidin und Polyalkylenamine mit mindestens drei primären und/oder sekundären Aminogruppen hergestellt worden sind, verwendet werden, wobei die Kondensate mit einem Epihalogenhydrin noch weiter umgesetzt werden können. Diese Polykondensate (C) und die entsprechenden Ausgangsstoffe sind aus der DE-AS 1 595 390 bekannt und können nach dem dort beschriebenen Verfahren hergestellt werden.
- Weitere geeignete stickstoffhaltige Polykondensate sind basische Polyamide welche durch Kondensation von polymeren, vorzugsweise di-bis trimeren ungesättigten Fettsäuren und Polyalkylenpolyaminen mit mindestens 3 Aminogruppen und 4 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen erhalten werden, zweckmässig in einem solchen Verhältnis, dass das entstehende Polyamidharz einen Aminwert im Bereich von 200 bis 650 mg Kaliumhydroxid pro Gramm Polyamidpolyamin besitzt. Derartige Polyamidpolyamine sind beispielsweise in der GB-PS 1 276 461 oder DE-OS 2 000 204 beschrieben.
- Die hier benötigten polymerisierten ungesättigten Fettsäuren sind vorzugsweise di- bis trimerisierte Fettsäuren, welche sich von Monocarbonsäuren mit 12 bis 24, vorzugsweise 16 bis 22 und insbesondere 16 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen ableiten. Diese Monocarbonsäuren weisen mindestens eine, vorzugsweise 2 bis 5 ethylenisch ungesättigte Gruppen auf. Vertreter dieser Klasse von Säuren sind z.B. Laurolein-, Myristolein-, Palmitolein, Physetöl-, Oel-, Elaidin-, Petroselin-, Eikosen-, Cetolein-, Gadolein-, Eruca-, Eläostoarin-, Parinar-, Arachidon-, Clupanodon-, Nisin- und insbesondere Linol-und Linolensäure. Diese Fettsäuren können aus natürlichen Oelen pflanzlicher oder tierischer Herkunft gewonnen werden.
- Diese di- bis trimerisierten Fettsäuren werden in bekannter Weise durch Dimerisation von Monocarbonsäuren der angegebenen Art erhalten. Die polymerisierten Fettsäuren stellen technische Gemische dar, welche stets einen Gehalt an trimerisierten und einen kleinen Gehalt an monomeren Säuren aufweisen.
- Besonders geeignet ist die di- bis trimerisierte Linol- oder Linolensäure. Die technischen Gemische dieser Säuren enthalten in der Regel 75 bis 95 Gewichtsprozent dimerisierter Säure, 4 bis 25 Gewichtsprozent trimerisierter Säure und eine Spur bis 3 Gewichtsprozent monomerer Säure. Das Molverhältnis von dimerisierter zu trimerisierter Säure beträgt demnach etwa 5:1 bis 36:1.

- Vorzugsweise wird ein Polyalkylenpolyaminopolyamid aus di- bis trimerisierter Linol- oder Linolensäure und Triethylentetramin eingesetzt.
- Weitere Polyamidharze sind beispielsweise die durch Umsetzung von Haiogenhydrinen z.B. Epichlorhydrin mit Aminopolyamiden und Polyalkylenaminen und aliphatischen Dicarbonsäuren von 2 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen erhaltenen Produkte, wie sie z.B. in der US-PS 3 311 594 beschrieben sind.
- Die Komponenten (1) und (2) werden in der Regel in einem Gewichtsverhältnis von 2:1 bis 1:5, vorzugsweise 1:1 bis 1:2 verwendet.
- Die neue Hilfsmittelkombination wird sie vorzugsweise als Nachbehandlungsmittel von Wollfärbungen verwendet, wobei sie gleichzeitig die Echtheiten der Färbungen verbessert und als Inhibitor für das Anschmutzen der Ware wirkt.
- Zu diesem Zweck werden Komponenten (1) und (2) in der Regel getrennt der Nachbehandlungsfiotte zugegeben. Die genannte Kombination kann jedoch auch in Form einer wässrigen Zubereitung verwendet werden. Diese Zubereitung kann durch einfaches Verrühren der Komponenten in Wasser nötigenfalls unter Erwärmen auf 50 bis 70°C und Verdünnen mit Wasser auf eine 20 bis 40%ige Lösung erhalten werden.
- Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist demnach auch ein Verfahren zur Nachbehandlung von mit anionischen Farbstoffen gefärbtem wollhaltigem Fasermaterial, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man dieses Material mit einer wässrigen Flotte behandelt, welche die erfindungsgemässe Hilfmittelkombination d.h. Komponenten (1) und (2) enthält.
- Als wollhaltiges Fasermaterial sind Wolle allein oder Mischungen aus Wolle/Polyester oder Wolle/Polyamid zu erwähnen.
- Das Fasermaterial kann in den verschiedensten Verarbeitungsstadien vorliegen. Beispielsweise kommen in Betracht: Flocke, Kammzug, Gewebe, Gewirke, Vliesstoffe, Garn oder Strickware.
- Bei den anionischen Farbstoffen handelt es sich beispielsweise um Salze schwermetallhaltiger oder metallfreier Mono-, Dis- oder Polyazofarbstoffe einschliesslich der Formazanfarbstoffe sowie der Anthrachinon-, Xanthen-, Nitro-, Triphenylmethan-, Naphthochinonimin- und Phthalocyaninfarbstoffe. Der anionische Charakter dieser Farbstoffe kann durch Metallkomplexbildung allein und/oder vorzugsweise durch saure, salzbildende Substituenten, wie Carbonsäuregruppen, Schwefelsäure- und Phosphonsäureestergruppen, Phosphonsäuregruppen oder Sulfonsäuregruppen bedingt sein. Diese Farbstoffe können im Molekül auch sogenannte reaktive Gruppierungen, welche mit dem zu färbenden Material eine kovalente Bindung eingehen, aufweisen. Bevorzugt sind saure metallfreie Reaktivfarbstoffe, welche vorzugsweise mindestens zwei Sulfonsäuregruppen aufweisen.
- Von Interesse sind auch die 1:1- oder vorzugsweise 1:2-Metallkomplexfarbstoffe. Die 1:1-Metallkomplexfarbstoffe weisen vorzugsweise eine oder zwei Sulfonsäuregruppen auf. Als Metal enthalten sie ein Schwermetallatom, wie z.B. Kupfer, Nickel oder insbesondere Chrom. Die 1:2-Metallkomplexfarbstoffe enthalten als Zentralatom ein Schwermetallatom, wie z.B. ein Kobaltatom oder insbesondere ein Chromatom. Mit dem Zentralatom sind zwei komplexbildende Komponenten verbunden, von denen mindestens eine ein Farbstoffmolekül ist, vorzugsweise jedoch beide Farbstoffmoleküle sind. Dabei können die beiden an der Komplexbildung beteiligten Farbstoffmoleküle gleich oder voneinander verschieden sein. Die 1:2-Metallkomplexfarbstoffe können z.B. zwei Azomethinmoleküle, einen Disazofarbstoff und einen Monoazofarbstoff oder vorzugsweise zwei Monoazofarbstoffmoleküle enthalten. Die Azofarbstoffmoleküle können wasserlöslichmachende Gruppen aufweisen, wie z.B. Säureamid-, Alkylsulfonyl-oder die obengenannten sauren Gruppen. Bevorzugt sind 1:2-Kobalt- oder 1:2-Chromkomplexe von Monoazofarbstoffen, die Säureamidgruppen, Alkylsulfonylgruppen oder insgesamt eine einzige Sulfonsäuregruppe aufweisen.
- Die Wollfärbungen werden vorzugsweise mit folgenden Gruppen von Farbstoffen erzeugt:
- A. Sulfonsäuregruppenhaltige 1:1-Chromkomplexfarbstoffe d.h. komplexe Chromverbindungen von Farbstoffen, insbesondere Monoazofarbstoffen, worin 1 Chromatom an ein Farbstoffmolekülkomplex gebunden ist und die im Molekül mindestens eine Sulfonsäuregruppe enthalten.
- B. 1:2-Chrom- oder Kolbaltkomplexfarbstoffe, die im Komplexmolekül 1 oder 2 nicht an der Komplexbindung beteiligte saure wasserlöslichmachende Gruppen, vorzugsweise Sulfonsäuregruppen enthalten.
- C. Reaktivfarbstoffe aus Azofarbstoffen, die eine oder zwei saure wasserlöslichmachende Gruppen, insbesondere Sulfonsäuregruppen enthalten.
- D. Von sauren Gruppen freien, jedoch wasserlöslichmachende Gruppen enthaltende 1:2-Chrom-oder -Kobaltkomplexfarbstoffe, wobei als wasserlöslichmachende Gruppen Sulfongruppen, wie z.B. C1-C4-Alkylsulfongruppen oder Sulfonamidgruppen, die gegebenenfalls durch C1-C4-Alkyl mono- oder disubstituiert sind, in Betracht kommen können.
- Von besonderem Interesse sind 1:2-Kobalt- oder vor allem 1:2-Chrommischkomplexe von Azofarbstoffen, die im Komplexmolekül eine einzige Sulfonsäuregruppe aufweisen.
- Es können auch Mischungen der anionischen Farbstoffe eingesetzt werden. Beispielsweise können Farbstoffmischungen von mindestens 2 oder 3 anionischen Farbstoffen zur Herstellung egaler Bichromie-oder Trichromiefärbungen verwendet werden. Besonders bevorzugt sind Farbstoffmischungen, welche einen Reaktivfarbstoff mit mindestens zwei Sulfonsäuregruppen und einen 1:2-Metallkomplexfarbstoff enthalten. Das Mischungsverhältnis kann von 9:1 bis 1:9 variieren.
- Die Färbungen können nach dem Ausziehverfahren, Foulardier-Verfahren oder durch Bedrucken erzeugt werden. Die Menge der verwendeten Farbstoffe richtet sich nach der gewünschten Farbtiefe. Im allgemeinen haben sich Mengen von 0,1 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent, insbesondere 0,5 bis 5 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf das eingesetzte Fasermaterial, bewährt.
- Die erfindungsgemässe Nachbehandlung des gefärbten Wollmaterials wird in der Regel anschliessend einer Färbung jedoch vorzugsweise aus frischem Bad durchgeführt.
- Sie erfolgt vorzugsweise nach dem Ausziehverfahren. Sie kann jedoch ebensogut auch kontinuierlich gemäss der Foulardiermethode vorgenommen werden.
- Beim Ausziehverfahren kann das Flottenverhältnis innerhalb eines weiten Bereiches gewählt werden z.B.: 1:3 bis 1:100, vorzugsweise 1:10 bis 1:50. Man arbeitet zweckmässig bei einer Temperatur von 20 bis 98°C, vorzugsweise 40 bis 60°C beim Ausziehverfahren und 20 bis 30°C beim Foulardierverfahren. Besondere Vorrichtungen sind beim erfindungsgemässen Verfahren nicht erforderlich. Beim Ausziehverfahren können beispielsweise die üblichen Färbeapparate, wie z.B. offen Bäder, Haspelkufen, Jigger, Paddel-, Düsen- oder Zirkulationsapparate verwendet werden.
- Die Behandlungsflotten enthalten Komponenten (1) und (2) im Ausziehverfahren, vorzugsweise jeweils in einer Menge von 0,2 bis 5 Gew.%, insbesondere 0,5 bis 2 Gew.%, bezogen auf das Gewicht der Wolle oder bei Klotzflotten zweckmässigerweise jeweils in einer Menge von 1 bis 50 g/I, vorzugsweise 10 bis 30 g/l, wobei Komponenten (1) und (2) im obengenannten Gewichtsverhältnis vorliegen. Beim Foulardierverfahren beträgt der Abquetscheffekt zweckmässig 60 bis 90 Gew.%.
- Die Nachbehandlungsfiotten können Mineralsäuren, wie z.B. Schwefelsäure oder Phosphorsäure, organische Säuren, zweckmässig niedere, aliphatische Carbonsäuren, wie z.B. Ameisen-, Essig- oder Oxalsäure und/oder Salze, wie Ammoniumacetat, Ammoniumsulfat oder Natriumacetat enthalten. Die Säuren dienen vor allem der Einstellung des pH-Wertes der Flotten, der 4 bis 8 sein kann, vorzugsweise jedoch 5 bis 6, beträgt.
- Die Flotten können auch weitere übliche Zusätze, wie z.B. Wollschutz-, Dispergier- und Netzmittel sowie auch Entschäumer enthalten.
- Die Nachbehandlung des wollhaltigen Materials wird zweckmässig so durchgeführt, dass man das Material, anschliessend an eine Färbung jedoch aus frischem Bad, mit einer wässrigen Flotte, die Komponenten (1) und (2) und gegebenenfalls Säure enthält, behandelt. Vorzugsweise geht man mit den gefärbten wollhaltigen Materialien in eine Flotte ein, die Komponenten (1) und (2) und Säure enthält und einen pH-Wert von 4,5 bis 6 und eine Temperatur von 40°C aufweist und behandelt die Wolle bei dieser Temperatur während 15 bis 45 Minuten, vorzugsweise 20 bis 30 Minuten.
- Nach dem erfindungsgemässen Nachbehandlungsverfahren werden die Nassechtheiten und die Reibechtheiten verbessert und gleichzeitig wird überraschenderweise auch eine Anschmutzinhibierung erreicht. Färbeausbeute und Lichtechtheit werden nicht beeinträchtigt.
- In den nachfolgenden Beispielen sind die Teile Gewichtsteile und die Prozente Gewichtsprozente.
- 119,6 g Dimethylaminopropylkokosfettsäureamid werden in 70 g Isopropanol gelöst und mit einer Lösung aus 19,7 g konz. Salzsäure in 94 ml entionisiertem Wasser versetzt. Bei 55°C lässt man in 20 Minuten 18,5 g Epichlorhydrin zutropfen. Anschliessend erhöht man die Reaktionstemperatur auf 75°C und rührt 2 Stunden nach. Nach dieser Zeit betragen Amin- und Epoxidwerte 0. Man erhält 321 g einer 45%igen wässrigen Lösung des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 109,75 g Dimethylaminopropylbehensäureamid werden in 44 g lsopropanol unter Erwärmen gelöst und dann mit einer Lösung aus 12,3 g konzentrierter Salzsäure in 74 ml entionisiertem Wasser versetzt. Bei 55°C lässt man in 15 Minuten 11,6 g Epichlorhydrin zutropfen. Anschliessend wird die Reaktionstemperatur auf 75°C erhöht und 3 Stunden nachgerührt. Nach dieser Zeit betragen Amin- und Epoxidwerte 0. Man erhält 251 g einer 50%i-igen, bei 20°C wachsartigen Lösung des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel

- 84,3 g Dimethylaminopropyl-2-ethylhexansäureamid werden in 35 g Isopropanol gelöst und mit einer Lösung aus 18,25 g konzentrierter Salzsäure in 73 g entionisiertem Wasser versetzt. Bei 55°C lässt man in 30 Minuten 17,1 g Epichlorhydrin zutropfen. Danach wird die Reaktionstemperatur auf 75°C erhöht und 5 Stunden nachgerührt. Nach dieser Zeit betragen Amin- und Epoxidwerte 0. Man erhält 227 g einer 50%-igen klaren Lösung des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 106,25 g Dimethylaminoethylbehensäureamid werden bei 60°C mit einer Lösung aus 12,3 g konzentrierter Salzsäure in 73 g Wasser und 43 g Isopropanol versetzt. Dann lässt man in 15 Minuten 11,6 g Epichlorhydrin zutropfen und erhöht die Temperatur auf 75°C. Die Reaktionslösung wird 10 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur gerührt. Nach dieser Zeit betragen Amin- und Epoxydwerte 0. Anschliessend wird die Reaktionslösung zur Trockne eingedampft. Man erhält 122 g des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 166 g Behensäure werden geschmolzen und unter Stickstoffatmosphäre auf 160°C erwärmt. Dazu lässt man innerhalb von 1 Stunden 58,85 g Dimethylaminopropylamin zutropfen. Das entstehende Wasser wird über einen absteigenden Kühler entfernt. Nach 5 Stunden Reaktionszeit bei 170-175°C ist die Reaktion beendet. Die Säurezahl beträgt 0, die Aminzahl: 138 (Theorie: 133): In analoger Weise werden durch Umsetzung von Behensäure mit dem entsprechenden Dialkylaminoalkylamin oder Dialkylaminoalkanol die in der nachfolgenden Tabelle i aufgeführten Dialkylaminoalkylbehensäureamide oder -behensäureester hergestellt.
- 101 g Dimethylaminopropylbehensäureester werden bei 60°C mit einer Lösung aus 12,3 g konzentrierter Salzsäure in 73 g Wasser und 43 g Isopropanol versetzt. Dan lässt man in 15 Minuten 11,6 g Epichlorhydrin zutropfen und erhöht die Temperatur anschliessend auf 75°C. Die Reaktionslösung wird 10 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur gerührt. Nach dieser Zeit betragen Amin- und Epoxydwerte 0. Anschliessend wird das Reaktionsprodukt zur Trockne eingedampft. Man erhält 117 g des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 104,5 g Diethylaminoethylbehensäureamid werden bei 60°C mit einer Lösung aus 12,3 g konzentrierter Salzsäure in 73 g Wasser und 43 g Isopropanol versetzt. Dann lässt man in 15 Minuten 11,6 g Epichlorhydrin zutropfen und erhöht die Temperatur auf 75°C. Die Reaktionslösung wird 10 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur gerührt. Nach dieser Zeit betragen Amin- und Epoxydwerte 0. Danach wird die Reaktionslösung zur Trockne eingedampft. Man erhält 120 g des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 24 g Dimethylaminopropylbehensäureamid werden in 27 g Dimethylformamid auf 100°C erwärmt. Dann lässt man in 30 Minuten eine Lösung aus 11,2 g Diethylenglykol-bis-4-methylbenzol-sulfonat in 25,8 g Dimethylformamid zutropfen, und rührt bei 100-105°C während 10 Stunden. Danach beträgt der Amingehalt 0. Anschliessend wird unter Vakuum zur Trockne eingedampft. Man erhält 35 g des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 43,85 g Dimethylaminopropylbehensäureamid werden in 50 g Dimethylformamid auf 100°C erwärmt. Dann lässt man in 30 Minuten eine Lösung aus 19,9 g 1,4-Butandiol-bis-4-methylbenzolsulfonat in 45,6 g Dimethylformamid zutropfen und rührt bei 100-105°C 10 Stunden. Danach beträgt der Amingehalt 0. Anschliessend wird unter Vakuum zur Trockne eingedampft. Man erhält 63 g des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 43,85 g Dimethylaminopropylbehensäureamid werden in 50 g Dimethylformamid auf 100°C erwärmt. Dann lässt man in 45 Minuten eine Lösung aus 13,7 g 1,6-Hexandiol-bis-methylsulfonat in 36,4 g Dimethylformamid zutropfen und rührt bei 100°C 8 Stunden. Danach beträgt der Amingehalt 0. Anschliessend wird unter Vakuum zur Trockne eingedampft. Man erhält 57,5 g des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 63,3 g Dimethylaminopropylbehensäureamid werden bei 80°C geschmolzen. Dazu lässt man 14,8 g Salzsäure in 756,8 g Wasser zutropfen, wobei man die Temperatur bei 60°C hält. Anschliessend lässt man innerhalb von 10 Minuten 16,35 g Butandioldiglycidylether zutropfen und rührt die Reaktionsmasse 1 Stunde bei 65-70°C. Nach dieser Zeit betragen die Amin- und Epoxywerte: 0. Man erhält 850 g einer 10%igen Lösung des diquaternären Ammoniumsalzes folgender Formel
- 65,6 g Dimethylamino-n-propylbehensäureamid werden bei 80°C geschmolzen und mit 5,1 g Schwefelsäure in 1083,6 g Wasser versetzt. Zum Reaktionsgemisch werden 16,35 g 1,4-Butandioldiglycidylether, der eine Epoxydzahl von 4,6 aufweist, innerhalb von 10 Minuten bei 60°C gegeben. Man heizt das Reaktionsgemisch auf 70°C auf und hält es während 10 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur. Nach dieser Zeit beträgt die Aminzahl 28 und die Epoxydzahl 0. Man erhält 1170 g einer 7 %igen Lösung des diquaternären Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 45,8 g Dimethylamino-neopentylbehensäureamid werden zusammen mit 9,9 g konz. Salzsäure in 500,4 g Wasser auf 75°C erwärmt. Man gibt innerhalb von 15 Minuten 10,9 g 1,4- Butandioldiglycidylether (Epoxyzahl:4,6) zu und rührt bei 77 - 78°C 12 Stunden. Nach dieser Zeit betragen Amin- und Epoxydwerte: 0. Man erhält 567 g einer 10 %igen Lösung des diquaternären Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- 42,3 g Di-isopropylamino-ethylbehensäureamid werden zusammen mit 9,9 g konz. Salzsäure in 479,8 g Wasser auf 75°C aufgeheizt. Man gibt innerhalb von 15 Minuten 10,9 g 1,4- Butandioldiglycidylether (Epoxydzahl: 4,6) zu und rührt 12 Stunden bei 75°C. Nach dieser Zeit betragen Amin- und Epoxywerte: 0. Man erhält 542 g einer 10 %igen Lösung des diquaternären Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- In einem Reaktionsgefäss werden 134 g N,N-Dimethyl-N-hexadecylamin in 439,25 ml Wasser vorgelegt und unter Rühren auf 70°C erhitzt. Danach werden 46,25 g Epichlorhydrin zugetropft und solange gerührt bis kein freies Amin mehr nachgewiesen werden kann (ca. 2 Stunden). Man kühlt die Reaktionsmischung auf Raumtemperatur ab und man erhält 620 g einer etwas viskosen Lösung mit 29 % des Gemisches von Ammoniumsalzen der Formeln
- In einem Reaktionsgefäss werden 134 g N,N-Dimethyl-N-hexadecylamin und 344,4 ml Wasser vorgelegt, auf 70°C erhitzt und mit 23,1 g Epichlorhydrin tropfenweise versetzt. Nach 1 Stunde entsteht eine etwas viskose Lösung, zu welcher 27,2 g 37%-ige Salzsäure zugetropft werden. Nach der Hälfte der Säurezugabe wird die Lösung gelartig und schwer rührbar, worauf man 127,8 g Isopropanol zugibt. Die erhaltene Lösung ist klar und hellgelb. Ausbeute 657 g Lösung mit einem 24%-igen Gehalt des Umsetzungsproduktes der Formel
- 86,0 g N,N'-Tetramethylhexandiamin-(1,6) werden in 457 ml Wasser gelöst, mit 31,6 g Benzylchlorid versetzt. Die entstandene milchige Emulsion wird unter Rühren solange auf 50°C erwärmt, bis die Lösung klar geworden ist. Danach wird die Lösung auf 70°C erhitzt und mit 23,4 g Epichlorhydrin versetzt. Es entsteht eine Lösung, deren pH mit Salzsäure auf 7-8 eingestellt wird. Nach dem Abkühlen auf Raumtemperatur erhält man 643 g einer Lösung, die 22 % des Gemisches von den Ammoniumsalzen der Formeln

- In einem Reaktionsgefäss werden 106,5 g N,N-Dimethyl-laurylamin und 350 ml Wasser vorgelegt. Bei 20°C werden unter Rühren 46,25 g Epichlorhydrin zugegeben, die Mischung auf 40°C erwärmt, 2 Stunden lang bei dieser Temperatur gerührt und der pH-Wert mit 37%iger Salzsäure auf 7,5-7,6 eingestellt. Danach werden 43,0 g N,N'-Tetramethyl-hexandiamin (1.6) bei 20°C zugegeben und die Mischung auf 70°C erhitzt. Der pH-Wert wird mit 37%-iger Salzsäure auf 7-8 eingestellt und die Reaktionsmischung 6 Stunden lang gerührt, worauf man 600 g einer viskosen Lösung mit einem 30%igen Gehalt des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel
- Die gleiche Verbindung wird auch erhalten, wenn man zuerst das N,N'-Tetramethyl-hexandiamin (1,6) mit Epichlorhydrin und das erhaltene Produkt nachträglich mit N,N-Dimethyl-N-Iaurylamin umsetzt.
- 86,0 g N,N'-Tetramethyl-hexandiamin (1,6) werden in 350 ml Wasser gelöst. Bei 20°C werden unter Rühren und Kühlung 46,8 g Epichlorhydrin zugetropft, worauf die Mischung bei 70°C 4 Stunden weitergerührt wird. Gegen Ende der Reaktion wird der pH-Wert mit 49,3 g 37%-iger Salzsäure auf einen Wert von 7-8 eingestellt. Man erhält 533 g einer Lösung mit einem 28%-igen Gehalt an einem Umsetzungsprodukt mit wiederkehrenden Einheiten der Formel
- In einem Reaktionsgefäss werden unter Rühren 118 g 4,4'-Bis-(chlormethyl)-biphenyl in 800 ml Wasser suspendiert und mit 82 g N,N'-Tetramethyl-hexandiamin (1,6) versetzt. Die Mischung wird zum Rückfluss erhitzt und 1 bis 2 Stunden auf 90-100°C gehalten. Es entsteht eine viskose Lösung mit einem Anfangs-pH-Wert von 11,7, der sich am Ende der Reaktion auf einem Wert von 7-7,5 stabilisiert.

- 500 g Wasser und 168 g Ethylenglykol werden unter Rühren auf 90°C erwärmt. Dann lässt man im Verlaufe von 5 Stunden ein Gemisch aus 470 g Pentamethyldiethylentriamin und 579 g Dichlorethylether zufliessen. Die Temperatur wird dabei zwischen 90-100°C gehalten.
- Anschliessend wird das Reaktionsgemisch weitere 5 Stunden bei 110°C gerührt und danach der überschüssige Dichlorethylether bei 80°C und 1,33.104 Pa entfernt. Durch Zugabe von Wasser wird das Reaktionsprodukt auf 30 % Grundsubstanz gestellt. Man erhält 2858 g einer Lösung des quaternären Polyadditionsproduktes der Formel
- Der pH-Wert einer 5%igen wässrigen Lösung beträgt 4.0.
- Beispiel 1: In einem Färbeapparat werden 10 g chloriertes Wollgewebe wie folgt gefärbt: Man beginnt bei 40°C bei einem Flottenverhältnis 1:30 wobei das Gewebe in der wässrigen Flotte ständig bewegt wird.
- Diesem Behandlungsbad gibt man nacheinander folgende, auf das Gewicht des Materials bezogene Chemikalien zu:
- 3 % Natriumacetat krist.
- 3 % Essigsäure 80%ig.
- 5 % Natriumsulfat
- 1 % eines sauren Dischwefelsäureesters eines Talgfettaminethoxylates
- 3 % eines Farbstoffgemisches aus den Farbstoffen der Formeln
- Einem frischen Bad von 40°C und Flottenverhältnis 1:30 setzt man 0,6 % des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel (101) und 0,6 % des polymeren Ammoniumsalzes gemäss Vorschrift F mit Einheiten der Formel (125) zu. Nach 10 Minuten stellt man den pH-Wert mit Essigsäure auf 5 ein und behandelt weitere 15 Minuten. Anschliessend wird entwässert und getrocknet.
- Zum Vergleichszweck werden zwei weitere Färbungen fertiggestellt mit dem Unterschied, dass die eine ohne das Ammoniumsalz der Formel (101) und die andere ohne die Ammoniumsalze der Formel (101) und gemäss Vorschrift F nachbehandelt worden sind.
- Die so behandelten drei Gewebe werden dann auf ihre Anschmutzbarkeit hin untersucht.
- Von den Färbungen werden die Echtheiten auf Potting, Wäsche 3 und Xenon-Licht geprüft.
- Die Prüfung auf Anschmutzverhalten wird wie folgt durchgeführt:

- A) Trockenanschmutzung
- - Prüflinge: Wollgewebe 9 x 12 cm
- - 15 % auf Wollgewicht, gesiebter Staubsaugerschmutz
- - Apparatur: Turbulator@ (3 dimensionale Bewegung)
- - Laufzeit: 30 Minuten
- - Anschliessend wird der Prüfling mit einem Staubsauger abgesaugt
- B) Nassanschmutzuna
- - Prüfling: 7,5 g Wollgewebe
- - Flottenverhältnis: 1:50
- - 5 g Filterstaub (aus Abluftanlage eines Gebäudes)
- - 5 g ECE-Testwaschmittel 77@ (Henkel)
- -0,1 g Lanolin ("lösen" mit heissem Wasser)
- - Behandlung erfolgt im Becherglas, welches in einem Heizmedium steht.
- - Temperatur 60°C
- - Behandlungszeit: 20 Minuten
- - Kalt spülen, trocknen

- Verwendet man anstelle des polymeren Ammoniumsalzes mit Einheiten der Formel (125) die Ammoniumsalze der Formeln (120) bis (123) oder die polymeren Ammoniumsalze gemäss Vorschrift E oder G mit Einheiten der Formel (124) bzw. (126) und anstelle des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel (101) die diquaternären Ammoniumsalze der Formeln (100) oder (102) bis (112), so werden ähnlich gute Resultate erzielt.
- Beispiel 2: 10 g Gewebe aus chlorierter Wolle werden im Ahiba-Färbeapparat@ bei 40°C unter ständiger Bewegung eingenetzt. Dann gibt man dem Bad (berechnet auf Warengewicht)
- 4 % Ammoniumsulfat
- 3 % Essigsäure 80%ig
- 2 % eines amphoteren Fettaminpolyglykolethers
- 3 % des Farbstoffes der Formel

- Man erwärmt das Färbebad in 45 Minuten zum Kochen und kocht 60 Minuten lang. Anschliessend wird das Bad abgekühlt und die Ware gespült. In einem frischen Bad (Flottenverhältnis 1:30) wird die Färbung bei 40°C mit 1 % des Umsetzungsproduktes gemäss Herstellungsvorschrift G mit Einheiten der Formel (126) und 0,6 % des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel (101) während 20 Minuten nachbehandelt. Anschliessend wird gespült und getrocknet. 2 Parallelversuche bzw. Anschmutzungstests werden wie im Beispiel 1 beschrieben durchgeführt. Von den drei Färbungen wurde die Schweissechtheit, alkalisch, der Feuchthitze-Test und die Xenon-Lichtechtheit bewertet. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 2 veranschaulicht.

- Verwendet man anstelle des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel (101) die diquaternären Ammoniumsalze der Formeln (100) oder (102) bis (112), und anstelle des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel (126) Ammoniumsalze der Formeln (120) bis (123) oder polymere Ammoniumsalze gemäss Vor schrift E oder F mit Einheiten der Formel (124) bzw. (125), so werden ähnlich gute Ergebnisse erzielt.
- Beispiel 3: In einer Haspelkufe werden 100 kg Wollgewebe im Flottenverhältnis 1:40 mit 5 % eines Gemisches bestehend aus dem schwarzen Farbstoff Acid Black 172 C.I. 15711 und dem Chrommischkomplex aus den Farbstoffen der Formeln
- 15 g des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel (101),
- 15 g des gemäss der GB-PS 1 276 461, Beispiel 1 hergestellten Polyamidpolyamins (P) und
- 1 g Essigsäure 80%ig
- enthält.
- Nach dem Foulardieren wird das Gewebe getrocknet, Anschliessend wird die Pottingechtheit und das Anschmutzverhalten im Vergleich zu der nicht nachbehandelten Färbung sowie zu einer Färbung die nur mit dem Polyaminpolyamid nachbehandelt worden ist, beurteilt. Die Vergleichsversuche erfolgen wie in Beispiel 1 beschrieben. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 3 veranschaulicht.
- Beispiel 4: Ein Handstrickgarn aus 100 kg Wolle wird auf einem Strangfärbeapparat bei einem Flottenverhältnis von 1:15 mit 5 % eines Gemisches bestehend aus einem 1:1-Chromkomplex des Farbstoffes der Formel
- Man gibt dem Behandlungsbad bei 40°C 1 % des Umsetzungsproduktes aus 1 Mol Diethylentriamin und 1 Mol Dicyandiamid gemäss DE-AS 1595390, Beispiel 1 und 1 % des Ammoniumsalzes der Formel (101) zu. Man behandelt die Wollfärbung 15 Minuten bei 40°C. Anschliessend wird die Flotte abgelassen und das Garn zentrifugiert und getrocknet. Die Färbung wird im Hinblick auf die Schweissechtheit, alkalisch und sauer, und die Wasserechtheit streng geprüft und mit unbehandelter Färbung verglichen. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 4 veranschaulicht.
- 3 % Essigsäure 80 %
- 5 % Natriumsulfat calc.
- 0,5 % eines amphoteren Fettaminpolyglykolethers hinzugefügt. Man lässt bis zur gleichmässigen Verteilung der Chemikalien bei 60°C 10 Minuten zirkulieren und gibt 5 % des Farbstoffes Acid Black 172 C.I. 15711 zu.
- Man erwärmt im Verlaufe von 25 Minuten auf 85°C und färbt 60 Minuten bei dieser Temperatur. Alsdann setzt man dem vollständig ausgezogenen Färbebad 3 % des diquaternären Diammoniumsalzes der Formel (109) und 3 % des Polyammoniumsalzes gemäss Vorschrift G mit Einheiten der Formel (126) zu. Man behandelt im abkühlenden Band insbesondere bei 40-50°C 15 Minuten, worauf die Ware gespült und getrocknet wird.
- Man erhält eine farbstarke egale schwarze Färbung, die eine Pottingechtheit von Note 4-5 aufweist. Der Griff des Kammzuges ist sehr weich, was die Weiterverarbeitbarkeit posititv beeinflusst.
- Verwendet man anstelle des Polyammoniumsalzes gemäss Vorschrift G die gleiche Menge eines der Ammoniumsalze gemäss Vorschriften A bis F, so erhält man ebenfalls eine egale farbstarke Wollfärbung mit guter Pottingechtheit und weichem Griff.
- Beispiel 6: 100 kg unbehandelte, lose Wolle wird in einem Zirkulationapparat in 2000 I Wasser bei 60°C mit folgenden Zusätzen eingenetzt:
- 2 % Essigsäure 80 %,
- 5 % Natriumsulfat (calc),
- 1 % eines säuren Dischwefelsäureesters eines Talgfettaminethoxylates,
- 0,5 % eines amphoteren Fettaminpolyglykolethers.

- Man erwärmt innerhalb von 20 Minuten zum Kochen und kocht eine Stunde. Das Färbebad wird dann zur Hälfte abgelassen und mit kaltem frischem Wasser aufgefüllt. Hierauf werden folgende Zusätze bei 50°C hinzugefügt:
- 2 % des diquaternären Diammoniumsalzes der Formel (109) gemäss Vorschrift X,
- 1 % des Polyammoniumsalzes gemäss Vorschrift E und
- 1 % des Polyammoniumsalzes gemäss Vorschrift G.
- Man behandelt die Wolle während 15 Minuten bei 50°C. Dann wird sie gespült und getrocknet. Die Wolle zeigt eine volle, egale, braune Nuance und eine Pottingechtheit von Note 4. Der Griff der Wolle ist angenehm weich.
- Beispiel 7: In einem Färbeapparat wird eine X-Spule von 1 kg reiner unbehandelter Wolle in 5 I Wasser unter Zusatz von 1 % eines Adduktes aus 1 Mol Cg-Alkanol und 4 Mol Ethylenoxid und 8 Mol Propylenoxid bei 60°C eingenetzt. Alsdann werden
- 3 % Essigsäure 80 %,
- 5 % Natriumsulfat calc.,
- 0,5 % eines amphoteren Fettaminpolyglykolethers,
- 5 % des Farbstoffes Acid Black 172, C.I. 15711 hinzugefügt. Man lässt 10 Minuten bei 60°C zirkulieren, erwärmt 25 Minuten auf Kochtemperatur und färbt 20 Minuten bei dieser Temperatur. Dem vollständig erschöpften Färbebad setzt man
- 4 % des diquatemären Diammoniumsalzes der Formel (110),
- 2 % des Polyammoniumsalzes gemäss Vorschrift G und
- 3 % m-Nitrobenzolsulfonsäure (Natriumsalz) zu.
- Man behandelt in abkühlendem Bade, insbesondere bei 40-50°C 15 Minuten, worauf die Wolle gespült und getrocknet wird. Die Wolle zeigt eine egale, schwarze Nuance mit einer Pottingechtheit von 4-5. Die Wolle hat einen weichen Griff.
- Verwendet man anstelle des Polyammoniumsalzes gemäss Vorschrift G die gleiche Menge eines der Ammoniumsalze gemäss Vorschriften A bis F, so erhält man ebenfalls eine egale farbstarke Wollfärbung mit guter Pottingechtheit und weichem Griff.
