Definitions
- the invention relates to a container with a closure of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
- the automatically closing outlet valve has a pin on the outside of a plate which closes the container like a lid and is provided with holes for the passage of the product, and also has a cap which closes the container above said plate an elastic plastic material, which has an exit opening in the middle and is pressed with the opening edge against the sealing surface of the pin due to the inherent elasticity and the shape of the cap, because the cap between its outer fastening edge and a part surrounding the pin like a socket one like one Has radial spring acting radial section through which the automatic closing movement is brought about after the product has been removed by pressure on the container.
- the container is exclusively a tube for which this previously known closure is provided, the tube preferably containing a pasty filling material and being compressed during removal. A tube remains in this compressed state and the known automatic closure does not allow a corresponding amount of air to flow back into the tube for the quantity of filling material removed.
- the two known and differently functioning types of container closures are not suitable for a container which is compressible for the portion-by-portion removal of the filling material and which consists of flexible material and which, after the filling material has been removed, is intended to regain its original container shape by the amount of filling material squeezed out by air flowing back is replaced so that a preferably upright container retains its shape and stability.
- air cannot flow back into the container if the product is removed in portions.
- it is a disadvantage of the known types of closure that when the product is removed by pressure on the container, the pressure drops immediately when the valve is opened, which is then repeated when pressure is again applied to the tube, so that the outlet valve flutters, but no constant product removal with a single print is possible.
- the object underlying the present invention was to provide a container with a closure which does not have the disadvantages mentioned above, in particular the pressure which is not maintained at the outlet of the product and the fluttering valve, but in which the valve passes through the bottom Pressurized air can be actuated, which is present in the container, which presupposes that with a container which can be compressed for the purpose of product removal, air can flow back into the container each time it is removed.
- the container has the features according to claim 1.
- the flow path which does not lead to the valve opening but is closed to the outside and serves to maintain a pressure can also be used in a special embodiment of the subject matter of the invention contain the pressurized product if the container is a tube.
- the end surface forming the outlet valve in cooperation with the peg is movable relative to the peg and is formed by a membrane-like body, which together forms the first flow path for the product and a concentrically enclosing and separate from it closes the second flow path to the outside.
- FIGS. 1 to 2 each show a closure which is connected to a double-walled container 1, 2 according to FIG. Or to a single-walled container 1 according to FIG. 3.
- the outer container 1 according to FIG. 2 is preferably made of plastic material and is designed in such a way that the container can be compressed and then regains its original shape.
- the product to be withdrawn from the container in portions is contained in the inner thin-walled container 2, which is made of such a material that allows the inner container 2 to act under the action of in the space between the inner container 2 and the outer container 1 prevailing overpressure completely emptied upwards.
- the product is contained in the container 1, which, as a so-called squeeze bottle, regains its original shape when air can flow back into it.
- a membrane-like body 59 is fixedly arranged on the end part 58 of the pin opposite the sealing surface of the pin, which, due to its inherent elasticity, has spring properties and a prestress in the closing direction. With its outer edge, the membrane-like body 59 is fastened in a sealed manner in the upper closure part 60.
- the preferably one-piece pin which comprises the pin portion 55 and the pin portion 58 which is larger in diameter, has a radial thickening forming a piston 61.
- This piston 61 is sealed in a cylindrical bore 62.
- a sealed space 63 is present between this piston 61 and the membrane-like body 59, in which the pressurized air enters the space in the direction of arrow E via a channel 64.
- This channel 64 opens into the space between an outer container 1 and an inner container 2 according to FIG. 2, so that when pressure is exerted on the container 1, the air which is thereby pressurized enters the space 63 in front of the membrane-like body 59, as a result of which the pin 55 is moved in the opening direction, to the right in the drawing.
- the closure 60 has an air valve 15 shown in dashed lines in FIG. 1.
- This consists of a stepped bore 16 with a ball 18 held therein, which can close off the narrower part of the stepped bore 16 when the pressure from below, i. H. from the space between the outer container 1 and the inner container 2 according to FIG. 2 or from the air space 80 above the product in a container according to FIG. 3. Via this air valve 15, air gets back into this space between the containers or back into the air space 80.
- a cap 65 which surrounds the upper closure part 60 and can be pivoted about an axis 66, first moves into the open position dash-dotted position has been brought.
- the cap 65 secures this pin in the closed position by pressing against the rear end of the pin 55, 58.
- the cap 65 is held in the closed position by a locking projection 67.
- the membrane-like body 59 has a lip sealing edge 70 radially outside of its fastening edge, which is resiliently pressed against a washer 71 connected to the closure upper part 60, specifically because of the material property of the membrane-like body 59 and the lip seal formed integrally therewith 70.
- this lip sealing edge 70 stands out and allows air to enter the container.
- a cavity 72 which is open towards the rear end of the pin is formed within the section 58 of the pin 55, 58 which is larger in diameter and an air valve 73 is arranged in this cavity and is held in the closed position under spring action.
- the space 63 is also connected to the cavity 72 in the pin section 58 via a bore 78. After a certain amount of the product has been removed, a corresponding amount of air gets back into the space between the outer container 1 and the inner container 2 on the flow path thereby produced.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 3 is identical with respect to the closure 60 with the closure shown in FIG. 2 and the only difference is that the product is not contained in an inner container 2 as in the embodiment according to FIG is enclosed by an outer container 1, but at In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the product is only contained in the one container 1 above which an air cushion 80 is present. The pressure created in this air cushion when the container 1 is compressed acts on the membrane-like body 59 in the opening direction. Through a hose 81 which extends from the channel 68 to the lower region of the container 1 and which is open at the bottom, the product reaches the outlet valve when the container is under pressure. In this embodiment, an inner container 2 for receiving the product is therefore unnecessary.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 differ from the above-described embodiments in terms of the functional principle in that a fixed pin 47 interacts with a movable end surface 46 designed as a membrane-like body in order to form the outlet valve for the product the membrane-like body 46 in each of the two embodiments closes off two separate spaces in the closure upper part 45, namely a discharge channel 51 for the product and an annular space 49, in which there is an air pressure when the container is compressed, with which the membrane-like one Body 46 is acted upon in addition to the pressure exerted by the product.
- the outlet valve is opened here by lifting the membrane-like body 46 off the pin 47, and the said body then assumes the position shown in dash-dotted lines and, due to its inherent elasticity and the prestress in the closing direction, returns to the starting position.
- the diaphragm body 46 has a cylindrical extension 48 which is guided in a sealed manner in the annular space 49, and this space 49 stands over the channel 50 with the space between an outer container 1 and an inner container 2 or with the air space above that in only product contained in a container.
- the membrane-like body 46 is designed on the outer edge as a flexible lip sealing ring, via which air returns to the space between an outer container 1 and an inner container 2 or into the air space above the product contained in only one container can flow.
- closures made of plastic or metallic material as well as for laminate tubes.

Description
- Fig. 1 einen Vertikalschnitt durch den oberen Teil des Behälterverschlusses in einer ersten Ausführungsform ;
- Fig. 1a den rückwärtigen Teil des Behälterverschlusses mit anders ausgebildetem Luftventil ;
- Fig. 2 eine abgewandelte Ausführungsform des Behälterverschlusses mit einem Belüftungsventil im Zapfen und auf einen Behälter mit einem das Produkt enthaltenen Innenbehälter aufgesetzt ;
- Fig. 3 den gleichen Verschluss gemäss Fig. 2, der auf einen das Produkt enthaltenen einwandigen Behälter aufgesetzt ist ;
- Fig. 4 einen Vertikalschnitt durch eine weitere Ausführungsform des Verschlusses mit einem unbeweglichen Zapfen ;
