Claims (10)

1. Dispositif pour la traction ou le freinage de bandes métalliques (1), notamment de bandes étroites à enrouler simultanément avec un effet de freinage individuel par bande, de préférence selon des bandes linéaires, entre deux éléments de serrage opposés qui circulent comme une bande sans fin et qui peuvent être appliqués l'un contre l'autre, caractérisé en ce que la bande métallique (1) est serrée de manière parallèle entre deux systèmes à chaîne (4a, 4b) et en ce que chaque système à chaîne (4a, 4b) tournant à l'aide de chaînes et de roues dentées comporte une pluralité de segments de chaîne ou d'éléments de friction (4) agencés l'un derrière l'autre, par paires de segments ou d'éléments opposés, disposés au-dessus et en dessous de la bande métallique et serrables contre ladite bande métallique.
2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les segments de chaîne (4) des systèmes à chaîne (4a, 4b) présentent un revêtement (7).
3. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce qu'on obtient une position invariable des revêtements opposés 7, grâce à une liaison d'entraînement de forme adaptée, via des galets (5) et des rails de guidage (6a).
4. Dispositif selon les revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que les segments de chaîne (4) reçoivent un revêtement élastique (11 ).
5. Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que le revêtement élastique (11) est muni d'un profil.
6. Dispositif selon les revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que les segments de chaîne (4) sont appuyés sur des galets (5).
7. Dispositif selon les revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que les segments de chaîne (4) sont, au choix, appuyés via des surfaces de glissement.
8. Dispositif selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le rail de guidage (6a) comporte des guides inclinés ou courbes d'entrée et de sortie.
9. Dispositif selon les revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce qu'il est monté sur un cadre orientable.
10. Dispositif selon les revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce qu'il est monté sur un bâti bascu- lable.
