Definitions

  • the invention relates to a projectile arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • An object of the aforementioned type is known from US-A-3 665 861. The intention is to achieve the largest possible damage area on the target side with a single shot.
  • Targets exhibiting new types of armor especially those in which an external armor plate is accelerated when a projectile is hit by a respective explosive charge in order to render the projectile in question largely ineffective, require correspondingly complex means of combating them. It is important to first deactivate the acceleration charge and thus make it harmless for further combat in the target area concerned.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a storey arrangement of the type mentioned, which is suitable with a high probability of annihilation for fighting actively armored targets.
  • three missiles 11, 12 and 13 are located one behind the other on a common trajectory T, which is represented as a straight line for reasons of simplicity and whose (initially imagined) end point 68 is active on a first armored plate 64 between two armored plates 62 and 66 of a simplified and schematically illustrated one armored target 60.
  • the missile 11 flying ahead in the direction S is connected by a wire 45 to the missile 12 following at a distance E 1.
  • the missile 12 is connected to the missile 13 following at a distance E 2 by means of a wire 46.
  • the distances E 1 and E 2 are both shortened and shown the same length.
  • the armored plate 64 is accelerated in relation to the adjacent armored plates 62 and 66 in a manner not shown and described in order to disrupt the missile 11 and thereby largely impair its effect.
  • the armored plate designated 64 in Fig. 1 during the acceleration is schematic and the missile 11 is no longer shown.
  • the charge assigned to the armor plate 64, (54 ') is deactivated by the missile 11.
  • the missile 12 following at the distance E 1 and also directed at the area of the armor plate 64, (64 ') can now operate without interference, while the missile 13 following the missile 12 on the common trajectory T at the distance E 2 has the damaging effect in the target area under consideration further enlarged.
  • Fig. 3 shows the structure of the second storey shown in Fig. 1, the flight floor 12.
  • Its sub-caliber main part (penetrator) 14 is delimited on the front by an essentially flat end face 16 with a circumferential tough bite edge 28 and on the back by an annular rear surface 18.
  • a ballistic hood 20 with a wall 22 and a tip 24 covers the end face 16 and is connected to the penetrator 14 in a manner not shown.
  • an insert 26 which is only indicated and is essentially designed as a thin nozzle tube, is provided in alignment with the longitudinal axis A of the projectile. It serves for the protective passage of the wire 45 for connection to the missile 11 (shown in the first place in FIG. 1).
  • a penetrator 14 is configured as a wire magazine 33 Dete arranged second wire attachment. It is formed by a circular cylindrical extension 34 with a front-side boundary surface 36. The rear opening of the extension 34, which is not described in greater detail, is provided with a circular guide element 38, the rounded inner surface 39 of which delimits a passage opening 40 (shown enlarged).
  • a bobbin 42 is axially aligned with its unspecified first end in the area of the boundary surface 36 and extends through the recess 34, so that an essentially mushroom-shaped, thickened free end 43 is adjacent to the inside of the guide element 38.
  • the end 43 of the bobbin 42 has a rounded outer surface 44 with an outer diameter that is larger than the diameter of the passage opening 40.
  • the wire 46 is wound on the bobbin 42 and is guided through the passage opening 40 for connection to the subsequent missile 13 (shown in third place in FIG. 1).
  • the missiles 11, 12, 13 have different cw values a i , a 2 , a 3 .
  • the subsequent missiles 12 and 13 each have at least two elements 50, for which passages 23 are provided in the wall 22 of the ballistic hood 20.
  • a device 52 is assigned to the elements 50.
  • the latter has rods 56 arranged as a parallelogram in joints 54.
  • the elements 50, the free ends 51 of which protrude radially beyond the unspecified outer surface of the ballistic hood 20, are fastened to joints 54 adjacent to one another.
  • One of the joints 54 lying on the longitudinal axis A of the floor is fixed to the elastic tension sensor of the tip-side wire fastening 30, while the end 45 ′ of the wire 45 is fastened to the other joint 54.
  • a tension spring 56 connects the two joints 54 lying on the longitudinal axis A of the floor.
  • the tension spring 56 exerts a tensile force on the front joint 54, the tension spring 56 is stretched, and the two elements 50 move against the longitudinal axis A of the floor while reducing the value a 2
  • the tension spring 56 can relax again due to the tensile force transmitted by the wire 45, the elements move outward in the opposite direction, so that a value for a 2 (or a 3 ) is set, in which the wire 45 (or 46 ) is sufficiently streamlined.
  • the respective flight floor 11 (or 12) flying ahead is not unduly braked by the subsequent flight floor 12 (or 13).
  • the inventive arrangement also ensures an exact succession in the other context: the flying floor 11 (or 12) is followed by an area in which the air resistance to the surroundings is reduced for the subsequent floor 12 (or 13).
