Description
The invention relates to an armored vehicle with a rotatable turret arranged on or in a tank ceiling and a shield cheek rising thereon as a bearing for a weapon carrier, the cartridge magazine designed as a container sideways (left and / or right) or above or below or behind the Gun releasably locked.
From DE-A-2149 954 an armored vehicle is known which has a spherical turret which can be rotated about the elevation and azimuth axes and which carries in its ceiling a weapon mounted in a vertex arrangement which, with its breech, projects into a weapon chamber connected to the turret. With a certain position of the turret and thus the weapon, drum magazines can be guided through a passage into the weapon chamber from an ammunition chamber arranged in the trough of the vehicle.
Furthermore, a combat vehicle is known from DE-A-1 428 746, in which the crew compartment carries a cannon as a weapon carrier on a holder placed over the crew compartment. When the weapon is in a certain position, it can be automatically reloaded directly from inside the vehicle.
In the case of the design mentioned at the beginning with cartridge magazines designed as containers, the cartridges located therein can be taped or un-taped, of larger or smaller caliber. The storage of the cartridge magazine in its own container enables larger quantities to be carried, the storage of which in the tower would be impossible, with the help of further or different vehicle compartments. In the previously known designs of this type, however, it was disadvantageous that the loader had to give up his armor protection in order to attach the containers to the weapon. This not only resulted in a loss of time but also an increase in the risk to life. In addition, this attachment was particularly tedious.
To avoid these disadvantages, the invention is based on the object of designing the armored vehicle so that the reloading of the containers on the outside of the weapon carrier located outside the armored ceiling can take place directly from the vehicle interior and with the aid of mechanical aids.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a horizontal container transfer path with a container reloading station is arranged below the armored ceiling and a closable opening in the same position, that at a rotational position of the turret on an index position and at the same time on a height angle position of the weapon carrier on a The index position of the empty container after it has been unlocked can be brought down through the opening into the container reloading station with the aid of a means of transport, and the container can then be moved from the container to the first container transfer track by means of a moving replacement container that takes up the space of the empty container. Reloading station can be moved, and that the replacement container can be brought out of the container reloading station by the means of transport into the locking position on the weapon carrier.
The invention integrates the weapon with the vehicle interior in a manner that enables reloading regardless of existing towers - and their size - and to a certain extent past them with auxiliary means, and with relatively simple technical effort and in any case in such a way that the loading gunner must not move out of armor protection for reloading. Transportable means can be chains or links operated by pressure means.
A second container track can advantageously be provided for the means of transport, which leads from the container reloading station up to the weapon carrier. The container track can have guide elements to which corresponding guide elements on the containers are assigned. This container track is designed to remove the empty container from the weapon carrier and to move the replacement container.
The height angle of the weapon carrier suitably corresponds to the largest possible height angle.
- 1 shows an elevation,
- Figure 2 is a plan view.
Only a part of its
If this magazine is empty, the
What has been described above for an arrangement of the
