Die Erfindung betrifft einen Eckverbinder nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.The invention relates to a corner connector according to the preamble of claim 1.
Aus dem DE 89 Io 4ol Ul ist ein Eckverbinder der gattungsgemäßen Art bekannt, der einen Schiebekörper in Form eines Keiles aufweist, der mittels einer Spannschraube relativ zum Haltekörper verschoben werden kann, wodurch seine Druckfläche parallel zu sich selbst verschoben wird. Die Spannschraube ist in einer Längsbohrung angeordnet, die einerseits den Schiebekörper und andererseits den Haltekörper durchsetzt und die Keilfläche des Keiles einerseits und die Schrägfläche des Haltekörpers andererseits durchsetzt. Im Haltekörper, der aus Kunststoff hergestellt ist, ist ein zusätzliches Gewindeteil für die Spannschraube angeordnet. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale im Kennzeichnungsteil des Anspruches 1 gelöst. Der erfindungsgemäße Eckverbinder besteht insgesamt nur aus zwei Teilen, nämlich dem Haltekörper und dem Schiebekörper. Diese beiden Körper werden gegeneinander verschoben und dadurch im Verstärkungsrohr verspannt. Das Verspannen der beiden Teile durch Parallelverschiebung gegeneinander erfolgt durch entsprechende Krafteinwirkung auf die über die Schweißfläche vorstehende Zunge. Der Haltekörper und der Schiebekörper sind aus Kunststoff durch Spritzen hergestellt und bedürfen zur Montage keiner Vormontage, da sie lediglich aufeinander bzw. aneinander gelegt werden, bevor sie gemeinsam in das Verstärkungsrohr eingeschoben werden.This object is achieved according to the invention by the features in the characterizing part of claim 1. Der tragende Querschnitt des Haltekörpers kann also den ganz wesentlichen Teil des Querschnittes des Eckverbinders umfassen. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung ist der Schiebekörper gegenüber dem Haltekörper geführt und braucht trotzdem nur vor dem Einschieben des Eckverbinders in den Haltekörper eingelegt werden. Eine besonders sichere Verbindung wird durch die Weiterbildung nach Anspruch 5 erreicht, wobei diese Verbindung nach dem Eintreiben des Schiebekörpers irreversibel ist. Alternativ oder fakultativ kann die Ausgestaltung nach Anspruch 6 vorgesehen sein, wodurch auch eine Selbsthemmung erreichbar ist. Die Weiterbildung nach Anspruch 7 und insbesondere die nach Anspruch 8 führt dazu, daß der Schiebekörper beim Einführen des Eckverbinders in ein Verstärkungsrohr sich nicht in Längsrichtung des Haltekörpers von diesem lösen kann, ohne daß es besonderer Sicherungs- oder Vormontagemaßnahmen bedarf.A particularly advantageous development is specified in claim 4. Ein Eckverbinder 1 ist zweigeteilt und besteht aus einem Haltekörper und einem Schiebekörper 3. Der Haltekörper 2 und der Schiebekörper sind jeweils einstückig aus Kunststoff ausgebildet. Zur Material- und Gewichtsersparnis weist der Haltekörper 2 einen Hohlraum 4 auf. Der Haltekörper 2 und der Schiebekörper 3 ergänzen sich - wie die Fig. 1 und erkennen lassen - zu einem rechteckigen oder insbesondere quadratischen Querschnitt, der dem Querschnitt eines Verstärkungsrohres 5 aus Metall angepaßt ist, das wiederum in einem zu verstärkenden Kunststoff-Hohlprofil 6 angeordnet ist. Der Druckfläche 25 gegenüber ist am Haltekörper 2 eine Gegendruckfläche 27 ausgebildet, die zur Anlage an einer der Innenfläche 26 gegenüberliegenden Innenfläche 28 des Verstärkungsrsohres 5 kommt. Die Druckfläche 25 liegt in unverspanntem Zustand des Eckverbinders 1, also in der in den Fig. 2 bis 4 dargestellten Stellung etwa bündig mit der Längs-Außenfläche 15 des Haltekörpers 2. Danach wird mit einem geeigneten Werkzeug, beispielsweise einem Hammer, auf das freie Ende der Einschlag-Zunge 29 eine entsprechende Einschubkraft ausgeübt. Durch die Neigung der Keilflächen 24 und der Schrägflächen 21 wird der Schiebekörper 3 weiter parallel zu sich selbst aus der Ausnehmung 14 heraus abgehoben. Da der Reibungskoeffizient zwischen der Gegendruckfläche 27 und der zugeordneten Innenfläche 28 größer ist als der Reibungskoeffizient zwischen der Druckfläche 25 und der zugeordneten Innenfläche 26 bleibt der Haltekörper 2 unverändert in seiner durch das anfängliche Einschieben festgelegten Stellung relativ zum Verstärkungsrohr 5, während die Druckfläche 25 an der Innenfläche 26 entlanggleiten kann. Zwei in der geschilderten Weise mit Eckverbindern 1 versehene Kunststoff-Hohlprofile werden durch ein sogenanntes Schweißschwert oder einen Schweißspiegel in der Schweißfläche 7 aufgeschmolzen und dann gegeneinander gedrückt, wodurch eine Stumpfschweißung hergestellt wird. Damit wird sichergestellt, daß der Haltekörper 2 zusammen mit dem Schiebekörper 3 nicht zu tief in das Kunststoff-Hohlprofil 6 eingeschoben wird. Andererseits wird in einfacher Weise sichergestellt, daß die Schweißfläche 7 fluchtend mit der Gehrungsfläche 10 liegt.
