Sie wird hergestellt, indem Altglas zermahlen und mit einem geringen Prozentsatz von Epoxidharz vermischt und sodann unter hohem Druck gepreßt wird. Die so hergestellte Trägerplatte ist witterungsbeständig und stabil. Vorteilhaft ist weiter, daß der hohe Glasanteil weiter zur Wärmeisolation beiträgt. Besonders vorteilhaft ist der sehr geringe Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient derartiger Platten.The carrier plate - known per se - consists of glass granulate bound with epoxy resin.
