Die von dem aufsteigenden Rost 3 abgleitende Masse wird von den Wurfschaufeln 6 von unten
erfaßt und erhält durch die Rückwärtsschleuderung eine ganze Drehung, so daß jetzt die Erde
mit Kraut unten und die Kartoffeln oben zu liegen kommen. Die hochgeworfene Masse wird
so zerstreut, daß die Erde und das Kraut eher als die Kartoffeln herunterfallen und letztere
infolge ihrer festen Form weitergeschleudert werden. Sie gelangen dabei auf ein Sieb 7, wo
sie an der schrägen Wand herunterrollen. Es wird gleichzeitig dadurch noch eine bessere
Reinigung sowie ein Zusammen- und Obenliegen der Kartoffeln erreicht und das Aufsammeln
derselben wesentlich erleichtert. Die Anordnung des Kolters 8, 9, des Rostes 3 und
