Abstract
Description
Beschreibung description
I The invention relates to a building from a supporting structure and Walls and ceilings made of glass.
With the development of slim, even filigree supporting structures Metal, especially steel, in the course of the last century the possibility arose To erect buildings with roof and wall panels consisting essentially of glass. Not only large greenhouses, but also 'glass palaces' serving other purposes developed. The problem with such glass buildings is the air conditioning, unless it is about the already mentioned glasshouses or partially wallless passages and the like. In the area of residential buildings, the "glass house" idea came about not beyond the so-called winter garden.
However, a residential building structure consisting largely of glass has physiological and psychological advantages not only for the people living in it, but, contrary to popular belief, can also be energetically included in the dominate cooler climates on earth. The cost of additional thermal energy In no way must the annual average be higher, but can possibly even be lower than a conventional building. Decisive requirement for however, the habitability of a "glass house" is the creation and maintenance of one the human Indoor climate adapted to living conditions.
The invention is therefore based on the object in a glass building of the type specified above with sufficient air conditioning in this sense to enable simple means.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the glass Walls and ceilings consist of two spaced apart shells, which form an air duct, and that at least part of the inner shell, which faces the space enclosed by the building, opens to the space can be and this connects to the air duct, the air duct is controllably connected to the outside air.
The between the two shells (made of heat-insulating, but water vapor permeable material) located air layer serves as additional thermal insulation; if necessary, the layer of air over openings is small Cross-section - i.e. throttled - for the purpose of removing water vapor to the ambient air connected (ventilated).
In contrast, according to the invention, the air layer between the both mainly made of - possibly heat-insulating and not water-vapor-permeable - Glass existing shells for indoor air conditioning, using them as an air duct can be connected to the room and a controllable one via its connection to the outside air Enables ventilation of the interior. While at a conventionally predominantly made of masonry or comparable material The walls and ceilings in question act as a compensating 'buffer' across the building Large fluctuations in the outside temperature and solar radiation can act on panes of glass do not assume this function; On the other hand, they have the advantage of being thermal No inertial resistance to oppose changes of this kind, so with With the help of suitable control measures, the indoor climate is kept constant very sensitively can be. According to the invention, these measures primarily include the various measures Use of the space between the two (glass) shells as an air duct: - Is the air duct both towards the interior and towards the Outside air is closed, so the air inside acts as a thermal insulation layer. At the same time, radiant heat from sunlight or even daylight can be almost unhindered penetrate the room and air it in spite of the relatively low temperature of the outside warm up quickly and sustainably without releasing the heat immediately to the outside will. The double-shell glass wall and ceiling acts like a check valve, so to speak for heat energy that radiates in from the outside and is required inside.
If the air duct is used both in the foot area of the building as also connected to the outside air in its ridge area (adjustable), so the (with the help of the pending from the outside and / or inside of the glass bowls Heat) air flowing upwards like a chimney for ventilation of the interior be used by the inner shell - in a suitable manner - towards the room is opened.
Through this air flow and the optional loading of the shell gap with outside air, air from the interior or mixed air of both, can also not only control the relative humidity in the interior, but leave it problems can also be mastered, which depend on the humidity in the space between the bowls Can occur when warm air with high humidity on colder glass panes leads to condensation precipitates (fogging).
The 'heat trap' mentioned first can occur in the warm, sunny season can be disadvantageous.
Therefore, means are preferably adjustable between the shells Shading of the inner shell provided.
Other advantageous developments are the subject of the remaining subclaims.
The drawing illustrates the invention using an exemplary embodiment in schematic representations, specifically showing: FIG. 1 a partial cross-section through a building according to the invention; and FIG. 2 shows a largely corresponding part Top view.
The supporting structure consists of girders 1 in the wall area and in the roof area made of girders 2, which are triangular braces in both cases. In the ridge area a ridge beam 3 is provided, and the wall ties 1 are placed on a base 4.
The cross-wise narrow binders 1, 2 (see FIG. 2) are on the inside in the roof area glass panes 5, in the wall area glass panes 6 and on the outside in Roof area glass panes 7, in the wall area glass panes 8 (with the help of suitable Framing) attached. The glass panes 5, 6 form the glass inner shell 20, the Panes of glass 7, 8 the glass outer shell 21 of the building so that between them - divided by the air-permeable in the example, but also to be trained as bulkheads Binder 1, 2 - an air duct 9 (or several of these, depending on the fields Air ducts) is formed. At its foot point in the area of the base 4 is the air duct 9 connected to the outside air in a suitable manner; for example through openings 10, the effective opening cross-section of which can be changed (regulated). In the ridge area, the air duct 9 is on a horizontally along the First extending collecting channel 11 or sewer pipes 12 arranged therein connected.
To the interior 13 of the building, for example, some or all of the glass panes 5 (windows) forming the inner shell 20 in the ceiling area be opened; the same applies at least to the glass panes 6 close to the floor the inner shell 20 in the wall area.
It is obvious that by the choice of the open panes of glass different air flow effects can be achieved; be it because of the thermal within the air duct 9, be it because of the pressure conditions one (not shown) forced drive in the collecting duct 11 or the pipes 12 generates a negative or positive pressure.
Not shown in the drawing are those between the binders 1, 2 and between the inner and outer shells 20, 21 provided means for controllable Shading, which can consist of a sun protection blind, for example, which reduces the energy throughput to around 10% when the sun shines into the interior.
One of the two (glass) bowls generally consists of so-called Insulating glass, i.e. made of double or triple panes. Often this becomes the inner shell 20, but there may also be reasons to produce the outer shell 21 from insulating glass.
In the drawings only one half of the building is in its entirety basic structure shown and described. It goes without saying that the other side can be constructed in the same way. But it is also possible to create this or another part of the building in conventional construction. Therefore, in the present context, a part of the building is also closed under "building" to understand.
It should also be noted that not only untreated: e outside air (or indoor air) can be guided through the air duct. Rather, it is also possible, conditioned air - especially cold air - through the air duct to blow if this is expedient in the sense of the task solution for room air conditioning is.
