Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Mittel zur Vorbehandlung von Fasergut aus nativer Cellulose in alkalischen Flotten·
Fasern aus nativer Cellulose, insbesondere Baumwolle, werden größtenteils vor dem Bleichen, Färben und Drucken von den natürlichen Fett-,
Leim-, Pektin- und Ligninsubstanzen, den Besten der Samenschalen sowie den meistenteils öligen Verunreinigungen aus der Spinnerei und
Weberei befreit, veil derartige Begleitstoffe die genannten Ausrüstungsprozesse außerordentlich stark stören.
Diese Verunreinigungen werden üblicherweise durch alkalische Behandlung mit Soda und/oder Atznatron entweder beim Abkochen in offenen
Apparaten oder beim Beuchen in geschlossenen Kesseln unter Druck
und bei Temperaturen bis zu 135°C beseitigt. Die Behandlungsdauer
schwankt je nach Art der .Rohware und angewendetem Verfahren zwischen
einigen Minuten bis 5 oder 8 Stunden.
Gewöhnlich werden diesen alkalischen Flotten noch geeignete Hilfsmittel,
wie Alkalipolyphosphate und/oder Netzmittel zugesetzt·
Des weiteren wird in der DAS 1 273 481 ein Verfahren zum Bleichen
von Fasergut aus nativer Cellulose in Abwesenheit von Oxydationsmittel beschrieben, bei welchem 4 bis 13 Gew.$6 NaOH und 1 bis 4 Gev.jt

l-Aminomethylcyclopentylamin-(2)-tetramethylenphoephonsäure und als stickstofffreie Verbindung die l-Hydroxyalkan-lyl-diphosphonsäure, deren Alkalisalze und Abkömmlinge verwendet werden.
Die besten Ergebnisse werden erhalten» wenn diese Substanzen in
einer Menge von 0,3 bis 5 g/l» vorzugsweise 2 g/l, der Flotte einverleibt werden.
Des weiteren hat sich gezeigt» daß sich für den vorliegenden Zweck
auch Mischungen aus Phosphonsäure mit anderen organischen und/oder
anorganischen Komplexbildnern» wie Aainopolycarbonsäuren» beispielsweise Äthylendiamintetraessigsäure, Nitrilotriessigsäure und Glukonsäure einsetzen lassen. Ein ganz besonders vorteilhaftes Mittel
bringt die Mischung der genannten Phosphonsäuren mit Alkalipolyphosphaten. Letztere für sich allein angewendet, weisen den Nachteil auf, daß sie in der alkalischen Flotte bei den herrschenden
Temperaturen zwischen 90° und 140°C einer Hydrolyse unterliegen und
so das Komplexbindevermögen gegenüber störenden Kationen, wie Calcium» Magnesium usw.» die auch in dem zu behandelnden Gut enthalten sind»
teilweise einbüßen» was bei den Phosphonsäuren nicht der Fall ist.
Die Wirkung der Phosphonsäuren wird durch die Gegenwart von Alkalipolyphosphaten der allgemeinen Formel

günstige Wirkung entfalten« An und für lieh sind mannigfaltig·
VariationemÖglichkeiten in dem Mischungsverhältnis zwischen Phosphonsäuren und anderen Komplexbildnern möglich» am besten hat sich
jedoch ein Mischungsverhältnis von Phosphonsäure asu den anderen
Komplexbildnern erwiesen» das 0»25 bis 4 t 1 beträgt.
Auch können der Abkoch- bzw· Beuchflotte Netsmittel zugesetzt werden·
Bier kommen alle üblichen Substanzen in Frage» die in alkalischen Medien wirksam und mit den Phosphonsäuren und Komplexbildnern verträglich sind» wie anionenaktive oder nichtionogene Netzmittel

daß damit eine sehr schonende Vorbehandlung durchgeführt werden kann» wobei die Durchschnittspolymerisationsgradwerte (DP) nur
geringfügig herabgesetzt werden» der Veißgrad beachtlich hoch und
die Aschewerte verhältnismäßig niedrig sind.
Sa sich chemische Angriffe auf die native Cellulose in der Veise
auswirken» daß die Ketten je nach Art der chemischen Substanz und der Intensität ihrer Einwirkung in mehr oder weniger lange Bruchstücke aufgespalten werden» wurden die BP-Werte gemessen» da die··
Messung praktisch die einzige Möglichkeit darstellt» um über den
Ifofang des Abbaues der Celluloseketten zahlenmäßige Angaben zu machen.

destilliertem Wasser und einmal (b) mit Leitungswasser τοη etwa 17 d.H.
gearbeitet wurde.

Die nach 4a und. b behandelte Baumvolle vies einen DP-Wert von 2.025
bzw. 2.000 auf ι der Weißgrad betrug 77 $ bzw. 75 Jt und der Aschegehalt 0,12 Jl bzw» 0,13 Jt. .
Bohbaumvolle gleicher Beschaffenheit vurde entsprechend den Beispielen 3 und 4 auch unter HT-Bedingungen (130 G) eine Stunde
lang und mit einer auf 10 ml/l reduzierten Menge 50}tiger Natronlauge behandelt und dabei folgende Werte erhaltent
Die Behandlung analog Beispiel 3a und b ergab einen DP-Wert τοη
1.850 bzw. 2.00Oj der Weißgrad betrug 72 Jt bzv« 71 Jt| der Aschegehait betrug GfI Ji bzv. 0,25 Jt.
Die Behandlung nach Beispiel 4a und b brachte einen DP-Wert τοη
1.900 bzv. 2.00Oi der Weißgrad betrug 73 Jt bzv. 71 $\ der Aschegehalt betrug 0,1 Jt bzv. 0,15 Jt.
5.) Zum veiteren Vergleich vurde dieselbe Rohbaumvoile nach einem
bisher als optimal geltenden Verfahren in einer Flotte (dest. Wasser) behandelt, die
3,4 g/l Äthylendiamintetraessigsäure
1,6 g/l Natriumdithionit
1,0 g/l Netzmittel, bestehend aus Alkylensulfonat, Alkylarylsulfonat und einem Oxäthylierungsprodukt τοη
Fettalkoholen
20 ml/l MaOE, 50 Jt *
enthielt·
Nach einer 2 l/2-stündigen Behandlung bei 1000C vurde ein DP-Wert
τοη 1.775 gemessen| der Weißgrad betrug 75 % und der Aschegehalt
0,15 Jl.

Nach einer Behandlungsdauer von 1 Stunde bei 130 C wurde ein
BP-Wert von l»750 erhalten; der Weißgrad betrug 70 1Je und der
Aschegehalt 0,14 %.
Die vorstehend in allen Beispielen angegebenen Ergebnisse wurden als
Mittelwerte aus jeweils 4 Bestimmungen erhalten.
Wie aus den Ergebnissen ersichtlich ist, wird bei den Abkoch- und
Beuchversuchen, die unter Mitverwendung verhältnismäßig kleiner Mengen der genannten Phosphonsäuren durchgeführt wurdenι trotz der
äußerst günstigen Asche- und Weißgradwerte, ein so minimaler, durch die DP-Werte zum Ausdruck kommender Abbau der Celluloseketten bedingt,
daß er gegenüber der Schädigung nach der bisher als optimal geltenden Arbeitsweise eine nicht vorauszusehende Verbesserung des Verfahrens
darstellt, die wirkungsmäßig nicht allein von dem Sequestriervermögen der Phosphonsäuren abgeleitet werden kann·

Claims (4)
1. Mittel zur Vorbehandlung vcini Faseargutifaus nativer Cellulose
in alkalischen Flotten, bestehend aus Aminoalkylenphosphonsäure
und/oder l-Hydroxy-alkyl-ljl-diphosphonsäure bzw. deren
Salze·
2. Mittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet» daß es zusatz-—-"
lieh anorganische und/oder organische Komplexbildner, wie
Alkalipolyphosphate, Aminopolycarhonsäuren, Citronensäure und
Glukonsäure bzw... deren Salze enthält·
3· Mittel nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es
in einer Menge von 0,3 bis 5 g/l ι vorzugsweise 2 g/l, in der
Flotte eingesetzt wird·
4. Mittel nach Anspruch 1 bis 3» dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das
Mischungsverhältnis der Fhosphonsäure zu 'den anderen Komplexbildnern 0,25 Ms 4 : !beträgt.
