Bei Abweichungen wird über eine, die Stapelplatte quer zur Bogenförderrichtung verbringenden Seitenkantensteuerung die Stapelplatte so verschoben, dass die Reststapelposition mit der Hauptstapelposition übereinstimmt. Danach wird der Restbogenstapel mit dem Hauptbogenstapel vereint, indem der Stapelrechen aus dem Stapelbereich herausgeführt wird.
