Abstract

本实用新型涉及一种组合式机械密封圈的结构改良。它系在外骨架的一端设有密封圈体,密封圈体的主唇和副唇分别接触于内骨架的内侧。因此,具有结构合理,体积小,防尘、防水、防油脂泄漏效果好,摩擦力矩较小,抗温升性能较好,价格低廉,适用性较广等特点。可广泛应用于各种轴承或汽车轮毂单元等场合。

Description

组合式密封圈
本实用新型涉及一种机械密封圈,尤其是一种由金属和橡胶组合而成的迷宫状密封圈。
现有的密封圈多采用橡胶制成单片或双片的结构,虽然其结构简单,价格较低,但存在着易磨损,寿命短,密封性能欠佳等不足。
为了克服单一密封圈结构所造成的不足,有人采用不同的结构或材料密封圈组合制成组合式密封圈。例如,一种名为“组合异型密封圈”(专利号95209098.8)的实用新型专利公开了一种密封圈,其环形截面下部呈梯形,上部至少有一道内外凸起的环状结构,该凸起环的结构起着第二次密封作用,增大了与构件的接触面,改善密封性能;但仍存在着易磨损,摩擦阻力大等不足。
本实用新型的发明目的是提供一种结构合理,制造方便,摩擦力距和体积较小,价格低廉,适用范围较广的组合式密封圈。
本实用新型的发明目的主要是通过下述技术方案得以实现的:在外骨架的一端设有密封圈体,密封圈体的主唇和副唇分别过盈配合于内骨架的内侧。
其中,所述的密封圈体与骨架体可分别采用软、硬程度不同的两种材料分别制成后,装配在一起。一般地,所述的密封圈体系采用橡胶制成,其上设有与外骨架端部相配的连接座,并由连接座与金属外骨架粘接成一体;且所述的外骨架的截面由呈L形的外边和静侧边构成;内骨架的截面由呈L形的内边和动侧边构成。上述内骨架或外骨架也可以是其他截面形状、配置。例如,外骨架的外边折向反向侧,而内骨架的动侧边为一折面(非平面),端部游离。
为了进一步提高本实用新型的防尘、防水性及防止油脂泄漏能力,可在所述密封圈的连接座与副唇之间设有侧唇,其端部接触于内骨架动侧边的内侧。也可以在所述的密封圈体连接座的内侧设有延伸体的近端部设有与内骨架动侧边的端部相接触的外唇。另外,所述内骨架动侧边设有一个内折而成的动端;所述的外唇斜设于连接座延伸体的近端部,并紧靠于动端的外侧面上。
所述的外骨架和内骨架除了铸造或金加工制造出所需的形状外,也可以采用钢板直接冲制而成。
因此,本实用新型具有如下优点:
1、结构合理、简单,克服了现有密封圈占用空间较大的不足,明显地缩小了结构的体积,使之宽度可小于4毫米,拓宽了使用场合。
2、金属与橡胶两者软、硬结合的组合式结构,使之防尘、防水性能优良,是普通密封圈的2-10,并提高了防止密封圈油脂泄漏的能力。
3、各橡胶唇面和与之接触的骨架均采用线接触,加之尺寸减少,使之运行的摩擦力矩可大为减少,并有效地防止温度上升,提高了抗温的能力。
4、制造方便,生产成本较低,使之整个结构价格下降,更为经济。

下面通过实施例,并结合附图,对本实用新型的结构作进一步描述。
实施例1:外骨架2系用钢板冲制成L形圆环,静侧边22的端部粘接有橡胶制成的密封圈体3,其主唇32呈钩形,副唇、33与主唇32呈人字形布置,侧唇35折向内骨架4的动侧边42近端处,而内骨架4的动侧边42呈折面(非平面)状,端部游离。装配时,将密封圈体3的主唇32和副唇33与内边41过盈配合;侧唇35与动侧边42过盈配合(参见附图1)。
实施例2:外骨架2系采用钢板冲压制成截面呈L形的圆环,其底面为静侧边22,垂直面为外边21;同样,内骨架4亦采用钢板冲压制成截面呈L形的圆环,其底面为动侧面42,垂直面为内边41。然后,分别对其金属表面进行防锈处理,以提高其耐腐蚀能力。密封圈体3采用橡胶制成,其上设有主唇32、副唇33和侧唇35,连接座31的形状与外骨架2的静侧边22端部形状相配合(参见附图3),并将两者用粘接剂粘固成一体。最后,将外骨架2上的密封圈体3与内骨架4过盈配合,即制成产品。密封圈体3的各唇体与内、外骨架体之间分隔成多道迷宫状腔体。
附图2所示的实施例是上述实施例的一种结构变异,其主要变化是内骨架4之动侧边42端部向内折成动端43;而橡胶密封圈体3的连接座31之内侧延伸成连接体30,且沿外骨架2的静侧边22和外边21粘合之,其端部设有斜置且依靠于动端43上的外唇34。
使用时,本实用新型的内骨架4之内边41设于轴承内环6上,其动侧边42与轴承的外侧面齐平;而外骨架2的外边21固定在轴承外环5上,其静侧边22置于轴承的近滚动体7的内侧(参见附图4)。滚动体7的相对位置可依靠保持架8保持基本不变。这样,橡胶多层的唇体结构,可有效地防止污水、尘土进入,或者轴承内润滑油等的泄漏。

Claims (6)

1.一种组合式密封圈,包含有骨架和设于其内的密封体,其特征是在外骨架(2)的一端设有密封圈体(3),密封圈体的主唇(32)和副唇(33)分别过盈配合于内骨架(4)的内侧。
2.如权利要求1所述的组合式密封圈,其特征在于所述的密封圈体(3)系采用橡胶制成,其上设有与外骨架(2)端部相配的连接座(31),并由连接座(31)与金属外骨架(2)粘接成一体;且所述的外骨架(2)的截面由呈L形的外边(21)和静侧边(22)构成;内骨架(4)的截面由呈L形的内边(41)和动侧边(42)构成。
3.如权利要求1所述的组合式密封圈,其特征在于所述的密封圈体(3)系采用橡胶制成,其上设有与外骨架(2)端部相配的连接座(31),并由连接座(31)与金属外骨架(2)粘接成一体;且所述的外骨架(2)的截面由呈L形的外边(21),和静侧边(22)构成;且其边(21)折向反向侧;内骨架(4)的动侧边为一折面,其端部游离。
4.如权利要求1或2或3所述的组合式密封圈,其特征是在所述密封圈(3)的连接座(31)与副唇(33)之间设有侧唇(35),其端部接触于内骨架(4)动侧边(42)的内侧。
5.如权利要求1或2或3所述的组合式密封圈,其特征在于所述的密封圈体(3)连接座(31)的内侧设有延伸体(30)的近端部设有与内骨架(4)动侧边(42)的端部相接触的外唇(34)。
6.如权利要求5所述的组合式密封圈,其特征在于所述内骨架(4)动侧边(42)设有一个内折而成的动端(43);所述的外唇(34)斜设于连接座(31)延伸体(30)的近端部,并紧靠于动端的外侧面上。
