Abstract

Description

球式平衡器
本发明涉及缓冲转动体振动的球式平衡器。
汽车车轮之类的转动体一般装有使转动中的转动体保持静态和动态平衡的平衡器。美国专利5,048,367、4,674,356和2,687,918公开了用来抵消由外力或内部载荷变动造成的动态不平衡的一种动态平衡器。从这些美国专利中可看出,该平衡器安装成与转动体的转动轴线同心而保持转动中的转动体的动态平衡或转动平衡,从而减小振动和噪声。
例如,洗衣机的内装衣物的转桶上装有保持转桶的动态平衡的平衡器。当转桶在由转桶内的不平衡衣物载荷造成的不平衡状态下转动时,该平衡器抵消转桶的不平衡转动而保持转桶的转动平衡。
美国专利4,433,592详细公开了用于洗衣机的这样一类平衡器,这类平衡器分为固体平衡器、液体平衡器和球式平衡器。
固体平衡器包括一固定在转桶内壁上的平衡件。该平衡件提高转桶的转动惯量而减小由转桶内的不平衡衣物载荷造成的振动。
另一方面,液体平衡器包括一安装成与转桶同心的环形壳体,该壳体中装有液体。壳体中的液体在转桶转动时流向与不平衡衣物载荷相反的一边而保持转桶的转动平衡,从而减小振动和噪声。
但是,固体平衡器和液体平衡器鉴于其结构不足以有效地减小转桶的振动。特别是液体平衡器,由于使用盐水之类没有粘性的液体,因此必须有防漏装置。
鉴于固体和液体平衡器存在上述问题,具有优良减振效果的球式平衡器得到广泛使用。
从图1和2可见,球式平衡器11包括一形成一环形室13的环形壳体12和装在壳体12的室13中的许多平衡球33和一种减振液体35。用钢制成的平衡球33浸在减振液体35中而在室13中滚动。减振液体35的数量足以把平衡球33浸没在其中。减振液体35一般使用具有一定粘度的油。减振液体35在壳体12开始转动时、即在壳体12的转速达到预定值前用来限制平衡球33的相对运动。从而防止由平衡球33之间的碰撞所造成的振动。球式平衡球11的结构和工作情况在下文中结合本发明一优选实施例详述。
球式平衡器11与洗衣机1的转桶4同心地安装在该转桶内壁顶部。当转桶4在转桶内不平衡衣物载荷下转动时,室13中的平衡球33滚向与不平衡衣物载荷相反的一边,从而转桶4可在平衡状态下转动。
在用于洗衣机转桶4之类转动体的球式平衡器11中,减振效果受到平衡球33和减振液体35的特性的很大影响。也即,随着减振液体35的粘度的提高,对壳体12中的平衡球33的运动的限制也加大,从而可有效防止平衡球33之间的碰撞。但是,粘度的提高妨碍平衡球33的快速滚动,从而平衡球33的减振效果、即球式平衡器11所要达到的目的会打折扣。为解决这一问题,进行了积极的研究。
而且,减振液体35的粘度会随着外部温度的变动以及由平衡球33之间的摩擦所生成的热量而有变动。因此经过一段时间后就无法有效防止平衡球33之间发生碰撞,从而无法有效保持转桶4之类转动体的转动平衡。
此外,在其中气密密封有平衡球33和减振液体35的球式平衡器11中,平衡球33会发生磨损,而减振液体35的粘度会改变。因此无法充分保证转动体的转动平衡。
本发明的一个目的是提供一种包括一种减振液体的球式平衡器,它可减小减振液体由温度变动造成的粘度变动,从而有效防止转动体的振动。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种球式平衡器,它可防止减振液体的质量下降和平衡球遭磨损,从而提高该球式平衡器的寿命。
为实现上述目的,提供了一种球式平衡器,包括:
与转动体同心地装在该转动体上、其中有一环形室的一环形壳体;
许多可在该壳体的该室中滚动的平衡球;以及
该壳体的该室中的一种减振液体,
其中,该减振液体中含有一种链式高分子物质的添加剂,用来减小该减振液体由温度变动所造成的粘度变动。
该添加剂最好为聚甲基丙烯酸烷基酯、聚异丁烯、聚烷基苯乙烯和乙烯-丙烯共聚物中的一种。
减振液体中最好还含有抗氧化剂和抗腐蚀剂。
为有效地实现上述目的,减振液体的粘度最好为200-2000cSt,若为200-400cSt则更好。
从结合附图对本发明优选实施例的详述中可清楚看出本发明的上述目的和优点,附图中:

从图1可见,使用本发明一优选实施例的球式平衡器的洗衣机1包括一外壳2、一用悬挂件6悬挂在外壳2中的外桶3以及一可转动地装在外桶3中、内装衣物的转桶4。外壳2呈长方体,外桶3和转桶4为圆筒形。转桶4的壁上有许多孔(未示出),因此洗衣水可在外桶3与转桶4之间流动。转桶4的底部装有一脉动器5使洗衣水产生环流。
一包括一驱动电动机7和一轴组件8的传动件9四周用一座架(未示出)固定安装在外桶3的下方。传动件9按照存储在一控制器(未示出)中的程序正向或反向转动转桶4或脉动器5,从而对装在转桶4中的衣物进行洗涤、清洗和脱水。
转桶4的顶部外圆周上有一环形凸缘10。该凸缘10抵靠球式平衡器11上的一支撑肋23(在下文说明)而用来支撑球式平衡器11。
如图2所示,该球式平衡器11包括一同轴安装在转桶4上、其中有一室13的环形壳体12。该壳体12包括一外壁件15、一内壁件17、一底件19和一盖件21。外壁件15、内壁件17和底件19制成一体,盖件21盖住由内外壁件17和15以及底件19构成的空间而形成室13。
许多平衡球33和一种减振液体35装在壳体12的室13中。平衡球33和减振液体35在壳体12的室13中运动。打开盖件21即可把平衡球33和减振液体35装入壳体12中。
壳体12最好用适合于吸收转桶转动过程中生成的振动和噪声的塑料、比方说ABS(丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯)制成。ABS具有优良的绝缘性,从而可防止因壳体12与平衡球33之间的接触而生成的电化学腐蚀以及由于减振液体35在壳体12中的翻动而生成的电解磨损。ABS还有隔绝外界温度的隔热性。
平衡球33最好用具有优良抗腐蚀和抗磨损性的铬钢制成。平衡球33的直径决定于壳体12的室13的横截面,最好大于室13的横截面的一半。
减振液体35防止平衡球33在室13中***以及由于受转桶转动所产生的离心力的作用而紧抵壳体12的外壁件15。减振液体35可使用矿物油或硅油。根据本发明的实验,减振液体35的粘度最好为200-2000cSt,若为200-400cSt则更好。粘度取这一范围的理由在下文中说明。
减振液体35最好不灌满壳体12的室13而使平衡球33的一部分露出在液面外。实际上,减振液体35的量为壳体12的室13的容积的1/4-3/4。减振液体35中含有添加剂以减小减振液体35的粘度随温度变动而发生的变动。该添加剂为链式高分子物质,在本实施例中最好为聚甲基丙烯酸烷基酯。
下面结合附图3和4说明该添加剂的作用和效果。
如图3所示,只由矿物油或硅油构成的减振液体35在正常温度下保持其粘度。此时,平衡球33的运动受到减振液体35的粘度的限制。但当温度超过减振液体35的流动点时,减振液体35如图4所示发生分解从而其粘度下降。在此状态下,转桶转动时壳体12中的平衡球33可自由滚动,从而平衡球33之间的碰撞造成振动和噪声。
添加剂用来防止减振液体35的分解和粘度下降。由于减振液体35含有具有链式结构的添加剂,因此减振液体35的流动点增大。从而减振液体的粘度保持力增大而保持图3所示状态,从而防止平衡球33因在壳体12中的自由滚动所造成的相互间的碰撞。
减振液体35还含有抗氧化剂和抗腐蚀剂。抗氧化剂用来防止减振液体35转变成具有低碳分子的化合物,而抗腐蚀剂用来防止平衡球33遭腐蚀。
同时,如图2所示,从壳体12的外壁件15上向外突起的支撑肋23抵靠转桶4的凸缘10。壳体12的底件19与转桶4的顶部用螺丝37之类的连接件连接,从而把壳体12紧固到转桶4的上部内壁上。
从示出减振液体35的粘度与球式平衡器11的噪声之间的关系的图5中可看出,球式平衡器11的噪声随着减振液体35的粘度的增大而降低。例如,当减振液体35的粘度为110cSt时,噪声大小为80dB;而当粘度为500cSt时,噪声大小为60dB。同时还可看出,噪声降低率随着粘度的增大而降低。
从示出减振液体35的粘度与转桶4的振动之间的关系的图6中可看出,转桶4的振动随着减振液体35的粘度的增大而增大。例如,当粘度为410cSt时,振动大小约为30mm;而当粘度为1000cSt时,振动大小超过60mm。
从图5和图6的结果中可知,为了获得合适的减振效果,减振液体35的粘度最好在200cSt以上。但是,减振液体35的粘度最好不超过2000cSt,因为当转桶4的振动大小≥80mm时,球式平衡器11几乎起不了减振作用。因此,减振液体35的粘度最好约为200-2000cSt。
考虑到转桶4的振动大小最好≤30mm,减振液体35的粘度约为200-400cSt则更好。
按照上述结构,由于减振液体35的粘度随温度变动的变动极小,因此可降低由平衡球33的***所造成的转桶4的振动和噪声,特别是在开始脱水时或在转桶4以低于其共振转速的转速转动而进行洗涤和清洗之时。
当转桶4高速转动、即以大于其共振转速的转速转动时,平衡球33滚向与转桶4内的不平衡衣物载荷相反的一边而使转桶4的转动平衡。此时,由平衡球33和减振液体35与壳体12之间的摩擦生成的热量会传给减振液体35。但是,由于减振液体35中含有添加剂,因此减振液体35的粘度几乎保持不变。
此外,由于抗氧化剂和抗腐蚀剂提高了平衡球1 1和减振液体35的使用寿命,因此几乎不必更换球式平衡器11。
同时,添加剂也可使用聚异丁烯、聚烷基苯乙烯或乙烯-丙烯代替聚甲基丙烯酸烷基酯。
本发明球式平衡器11可用于种种转动体,包括洗衣机1的转桶4。
如上所述,本发明球式平衡器使用其粘度随温度变动的变动很小的减振液体,从而有效地减小转动体的振动。此外,减振液体中含有提高平衡球和减振液体的使用寿命的抗氧化剂和抗腐蚀剂。

Claims (6)

1、一种用于转动体的球式平衡器,其特征在于包括:
与转动体同心地装在该转动体上、其中有一环形室的一环形壳体;
许多可在所述壳体的所述室中滚动的平衡球;以及
所述壳体的所述室中的一种减振液体,
其中,所述减振液体中含有一种链式高分子物质的添加剂,用来减小所述减振液体由温度变动所造成的粘度变动。
2、按权利要求1所述的球式平衡器,其特征在于,所述添加剂为聚甲基丙烯酸烷基酯、聚异丁烯、聚烷基苯乙烯和乙烯-丙烯共聚物中的一种。
3、按权利要求2所述的球式平衡器,其特征在于,所述减振液体中还含有抗氧化剂。
4、按权利要求2所述的球式平衡器,其特征在于,所述减振液体中还含有抗腐蚀剂。
5、按权利要求1所述的球式平衡器,其特征在于,所述减振液体的粘度为200-2000cSt。
6、按权利要求1所述的球式平衡器,其特征在于,所述减振液体的粘度为200-400cSt。
