背景技术
电子装置,例如计算机需要在输入/输出端口设置连接器,以便与多个外部电缆相配接。按照常规方式,在电路板上装有内部连接器。在PCT专利申请WO97/10628中公开了这样一种连接器,这是一种带罩的可以容纳一系列通道的容座的连接器,其设有一对插头接收腔,以便同时与两个系列通道插头连接器配接,将其用于局域网。同样在计算机上设有I/O端口,在此端口,模数插座连接器与标准设计的用于电话的模数插头连接器相配接。从美国专利文件第4978317号和第5685737号中可知,沿I/O端口的可见的配接表面设有具有光显示装置的模数插座,当插头连接器与模数插座完全配接时,光显示装置给出指示。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种局域网连接器,其具有在模数插座下方叠置的一对插头接收腔,以致连接器组件可以同时与模数插头和两个具有系列通道的插头连接器相配接。与此同时占据电路板上的连接位置多于叠置的系列通道插座占据的连接位置。本发明的连接组件还设有一对位于配接面的光显示装置,其可视地指示在I/O端口是否模数插头完全配接。在电路板上方围绕连接器组件设有屏蔽罩,其也设在模数插座和它的接触件之间,以及一系列通道插座和它的接触件之间。

具体实施方式
在图1所示的本发明的叠置的地区网格连接器10具有配接表面12,在此配接表面上设有模数插头接收腔14和两个USB插头接收腔16、18,它们分别向后朝着后表面20延伸。连接器10包括电路板的安装表面22,其分别垂直于配接表面12和后表面20,以便使连接器10沿着电路板的边缘26安装到电路板24上。如图1所示,在模数插头接收腔14的旁边设有两个光显示装置(LEDS)28、30,以便可见地显示模数插头连接器(未示出)完全与该接收腔相配接。在图1中可以看到,外罩32包封住连接器组件10,且其具有沿着配接表面12设置的前壁34,在该前壁上设有适当的开口,以便暴露模数插头接收腔14和USB插头接收腔16、18和光显示装置(LEDs)28、30的凸镜。外罩顶壁38的折片36和外罩后侧壁42的折片40(见图3)上有槽44,槽闭锁在位于外罩侧壁48上的凸出部46上,以便当顶壁和后壁围绕主壳体弯曲,以及将折片弯曲沿着侧壁48共同伸展完成连接器组件时,使它们固定在其上。

在本发明中可以不作任何修改地将常规的叠置的USB连接器容纳在叠置的局域网连接器中。罩元件被固定在USB连接器后端,不对其进行修改,以便在USB元件接触件和模数插座接触件之间产生屏蔽作用。在电路板的真实状态下,实际节省导致模数插座元件位于叠置的USB连接器上方,以致连接器可以容纳局域网连接器或***设置连接器或同时容纳两者,与此同时,模数插座和叠置的USB元件的接触器的内外屏障保证信号从配接的连接器传送到电路板的电路的完整性。本发明提供的组件具有非常便利的效果,其可以作为用于电路板放置,例如在钎焊接触件之前的拨插装置,以妆地部分与电路板的电路之间的连接的单元操作。
Claims (9)
1.一种叠置的局域网的电连接器,其包括:
可安装在电路板上的组件,其具有绝缘壳体,所述绝缘壳体上设有一第一孔、一第二孔、一配接面和一电路板安装面;其特征在于,
一个USB连接器,其可***所述第一孔,且其包括至少一第二插头接收腔,其连通所述连接器的配接面,其还包括一第一排可与电路板连接的接触件,接触件具有在各所述第一插头接收腔中暴露的接触部分;
一个模数插座连接器,其设在所述连接器中,并相对于所述USB连接器沿垂直方向平行排列,且其包括一第二排可连接电路板的接触件,接触件位于所述绝缘壳体内,并有接触部分,其暴露在模数插头接收腔中,该接收腔连通所述组件的所述配接面;
所述第一排接触件和所述第二排接触件的与电路板连接的接触部分至少垂直地延伸到远离所述配接面的所述绝缘壳体的所述电路板安装面;
一罩,其在所述绝缘的壳体内,于所述第一排接触件的所述与电路板连接的接触部分和所述第二排接触件之间。
2.按照权利要求1所述的叠置的局域网的电连接器,其特征是:所述模数插座连接器位于所述USB连接器的上方。
3.按照权利要求1所述的叠置的局域网的电连接器,其特征是:所述USB连接器是叠置的USB连接器,其具有两个插头接收腔,且可从配接面***所述第一孔。
4.按照权利要求1所述的叠置的局域网的电连接器,其特征是:所述模数插座连接器包括模数插座元件,其可以从所述绝缘的壳体的后面***,并包括垂直部分,其位于所述USB连接器的后方,并包括所述第二排接触件的垂直部分,所述模数插座元件包括导向轨道,以便随着所述绝缘壳体的导向槽精确定位,所述模数插座元件闭锁定位,以便所述第二排接触件的接触部分暴露在所述模数插头接收腔中。
5.按照权利要求1所述的叠置的局域网的电连接器,其特征是:将外罩围绕所述绝缘壳体固定,从而屏障所述USB连接器和所述模数插座连接器。
6.按照权利要求1所述的叠置的局域网的电连接器,其特征是:所述外罩的顶壁的折片和后壁的折片具有槽,当所述折片折叠共同沿与其相邻的所述侧壁延伸时,所述槽闭锁在所述外罩的侧壁上的凸出部上,由此使所述外罩围绕安装在所述绝缘的壳体组装上,并且将所述外罩围绕所述绝缘壳体固定。
7.按照权利要求1所述的叠置的局域网的电连接器,其特征是:所述绝缘壳体包括一对固定在其中的光发射装置,各所述光发射装置包括沿所述配接面的暴露的光发射凸镜,还包括电路连接部分,其至少延伸到所述绝缘壳体的所述电路板安装面上。
8.按照权利要求1所述的叠置的局域网的电连接器,其特征是:位于所述第一和第二排接触件的所述电路板连接部分之间的所述罩是一后罩其沿着所述USB连接器的后面固定到第一排接触件的电路板连接部分的后方,与所述USB连接器的外罩电连接,所述后罩包括沿其后板的窗口,伸出部从所述第一孔的后壁向前延伸进入所述第一孔,并且穿过所述窗口,随着所述USB连接器***所述第一孔,有助于所述叠置的USB连接器在所述第一孔中保持固定。
9.按照权利要求1所述的叠置的局域网的电连接器,其特征是:包围所述绝缘壳体的外罩包括一前壁,其位于所述第一和第二孔的周围,所述USB连接器的外罩的一部分与所述第一孔相邻的所述组件的所述外罩的所述前壁的部分相靠,以便有助于在所述第一孔内使所述USB连接器保持固定。
