具体实施方式
[车轮用轴承装置的整体结构]
使用图1对车轮用轴承装置1的整体结构进行说明。需要说明的是,在以下的说明中,内方侧表示车轮用轴承装置1安装于车身时的车身侧,外方侧表示车轮用轴承装置1安装于车身时的车轮侧。
如图1所示,车轮用轴承装置1在机动车等车辆的悬架装置中将车轮支承为旋转自如。车轮用轴承装置1具备外圈2、轮毂圈3、内圈4、滚动体5、内方侧密封构件6以及外方侧密封构件7。
作为外侧构件的外圈2对轮毂圈3和内圈4进行支承。在外圈2的内方侧端部2g的内周面设置有供密封环62嵌合的内方侧嵌合面2b。在外圈2的外方侧端部2f设置有供外方侧密封构件7嵌合的外方侧嵌合面2c。在外圈2的外周面2e一体地设置有用于安装于未图示的悬架装置的转向节的车身安装凸缘2d。在外圈2的内周面的内方侧以及外方侧沿周向设置有双列外侧轨道面2a·2a。
内侧构件由轮毂圈3和内圈4构成。轮毂圈3将未图示的车辆的车轮支承为旋转自如。在轮毂圈3的外周面的内方侧端部设置有缩径的小径台阶部3a。在轮毂圈3的外方侧端部一体地设置有用于安装车轮的车轮安装凸缘3b。在车轮安装凸缘3b压入有轮毂螺栓3c,该轮毂螺栓3c用于将轮毂圈3与车轮或制动装置紧固连结。另外,在轮毂圈3的外方侧的外周面没置有内侧轨道面3d。
内圈4压入轮毂圈3的小径台阶部3a。在内圈4的外周面设置有内侧轨道面4a。也就是说,在轮毂圈3的内方侧,通过内圈4构成内侧轨道面4a。另外,在内圈4的内方侧端部4c的外周面设置有供内方侧密封构件6的甩油环61嵌合的嵌合面4b。
内方侧密封构件6以及外方侧密封构件7是将通过外侧构件和内侧构件形成的环状空间S的开口端封堵的密封构件。内方侧密封构件6装配于环状空间S中的在外圈2与内圈4之间形成的内方侧开口端。另一方面,外方侧密封构件7装配于环状空间S中的在外圈2与轮毂圈3之间形成的外方侧开口端。以下,对内方侧密封构件6以及外方侧密封构件7的详细结构进行说明。
[内方侧密封构件]
使用图2至图4对内方侧密封构件6的结构进行说明。图3中的内方侧密封构件6的截面示出图2的B-B位置处的截面,图4中的内方侧密封构件6的截面示出图2的C-C位置处的截面。
在以下的说明中,径向外侧表示远离轮毂圈3的旋转轴A(参照图1)的方向,径向内侧表示接近轮毂圈3的旋转轴A的方向(参照图3)。轴向表示与旋转轴A平行的方向。另外,轴向外侧表示沿着旋转轴A远离环状空间S的方向,轴向内侧表示沿着旋转轴A接近环状空间S的方向(参照图3)。在内方侧密封构件6中,轴向外侧为内方侧,轴向内侧为外方侧。在外方侧密封构件7中,轴向外侧为外方侧,轴向内侧为内方侧。
如图3所示,内方侧密封构件6具有甩油环61和密封环62。甩油环61例如是钢板制的圆环体,且具有外嵌部611和外板部612。外嵌部611是外嵌于内圈4的嵌合面4b的圆筒状的部分。外板部612是从外嵌部611的轴向外侧端部向径向外侧延伸的圆环板状的部分。另外,在甩油环61的外板部612的轴向外侧面设置有编码器63。编码器63是排列有磁极(N极·S极)的合成橡胶等,其通过硫化粘接等与甩油环61接合。
密封环62具有芯骨64和弹性构件65。芯骨64例如是钢板制的圆环体,且具有内嵌部641和内板部642。内嵌部641是内嵌于外圈2的内方侧嵌合面2b的圆筒状的部分。内板部642是从内嵌部641的轴向内侧端部向径向内侧延伸的圆环板状的部分。
弹性构件65例如由合成橡胶构成,并通过硫化粘接等与芯骨64接合。弹性构件65从芯骨64的内嵌部641的前端部附近的外周面64a经由前端面64b、内周面64c而覆盖至内板部642的轴向外侧面64d、前端面64e、前端部附近的轴向内侧面64f。
弹性构件65具有两个侧唇651·652、一个油脂唇653、按压部654以及非按压部655。侧唇651·652的前端部与甩油环61的外板部612接触。油脂唇653的前端部与甩油环61的外嵌部611接触或接近。油脂唇653防止车轮用轴承装置1的内部的油脂向外部泄漏。
如图2所示,按压部654以及非按压部655是与芯骨64的内嵌部641的前端面64b接合的部分。在图2中,周向上的长度相同的四个按压部654与四个非按压部655沿着周向相互错开地配置。需要说明的是,按压部654与非按压部655只要沿着周向相互错开地配置,则其长度以及数量没有特别限定。
按压部654是在将密封环62向外圈2的内方侧嵌合面2b压入时被压入夹具朝向轴向内侧按压的部分。另一方面,非按压部655是不被压入夹具按压的部分。
在将与按压部654接合的前端面64b的部分设为第一接合面64g(参照图3),将与非按压部655接合的前端面64b的部分设为第二接合面64h(参照图4)时,第一接合面64g与第二接合面64h共面。并且,按压部654的轴向上的厚度T1(参照图3)比非按压部655的轴向上的厚度T2(参照图4)薄。也就是说,非按压部655比按压部654向轴向外侧突出。换言之,在轴向上,非按压部655为凸部,按压部654为凹部。从后述的回弹量的观点出发,按压部654的厚度T1在保证强度的范围内越薄越优选。
在车轮用轴承装置1的组装工序中,内方侧密封构件6在组装了外圈2、轮毂圈3、内圈4以及滚动体5后进行组装。在将甩油环61与密封环62组合了的状态下使用压入夹具将内方侧密封构件6压入环状空间S的内方侧开口端。压入夹具将密封环62的弹性构件65的按压部654、以及甩油环61的外板部612的未设置有编码器63的部分同时按压至规定位置。
按压部654在被压入夹具按压期间由于弹性变形而压缩。并且,当压入夹具离开时,按压部654发生弹性恢复,朝向轴向外侧伸长至原本的厚度。其结果是,密封环62产生位于从规定位置向轴向外侧偏移的位置的所谓的回弹。
然而,在本实施方式的车轮用轴承装置1中,按压部654的轴向上的厚度T1比非按压部655的轴向上的厚度T2薄。因此,通过使压入夹具如上述那样按压按压部654,与按压非按压部655的情况相比,能够降低回弹量。因此,能够提高密封环62的轴向上的组装精度。其结果是,轴承旋转转矩、密封性这样的内方侧密封构件6的性能的不均降低。
接下来,使用图5以及图6对另一方案的密封环62A的结构进行说明。图5以及图6中的内方侧密封构件6的截面的位置分别是与图2的B-B位置以及C-C位置相同的位置。在以下的说明中,对与上述的车轮用轴承装置1相同的构件、部位标注相同的附图标记,并省略其详细的说明。
密封环62A具有芯骨64A和弹性构件65A。芯骨64A在第一接合面64j(参照图5)位于比第二接合面64k(参照图6)靠轴向外侧的位置这一点上与上述的芯骨64不同。换言之,在轴向上,第一接合面64j部分为凸部,第二接合面64k部分为凹部。
弹性构件65A在按压部656的轴向外侧面65a(参照图5)与非按压部657的轴向外侧面65b(参照图6)共面这一点上与上述的弹性构件65不同。也就是说,按压部656的轴向上的厚度T3(参照图5)比非按压部657的轴向上的厚度T4(参照图6)薄。通过这样的密封环62A,也能够获得与上述相同的效果。
[外方侧密封构件]
使用图7以及图8对外方侧密封构件7的结构进行说明。图7示出外方侧密封构件7的弹性构件72的按压部724的截面,图8示出外方侧密封构件7的弹性构件72的非按压部725的截面。
如图7所示,外方侧密封构件7具有芯骨71和弹性构件72。芯骨71例如是钢板制的圆环体,且具有内嵌部711和外板部712。内嵌部711是内嵌于外圈2的外方侧嵌合面2c的圆筒状的部分。外板部712是从内嵌部711的轴向外侧端部向径向内侧延伸的部分。
弹性构件72例如由合成橡胶构成,并通过硫化粘接等与芯骨71接合。弹性构件72从芯骨71的内嵌部711的前端部附近的外周面71a经由外板部712的轴向外侧面71b而覆盖至前端面71c、前端部附近的轴向内侧面71d。
弹性构件72具有侧唇721、中间唇722、油脂唇723、按压部724以及非按压部725。侧唇721的前端部以及中间唇722的前端部与轮毂圈3接触。油脂唇723的前端部与轮毂圈3接触或接近。油脂唇723防止车轮用轴承装置1的内部的油脂向外部泄漏。
如图7以及图8所示,按压部724以及非按压部725是与芯骨71的外板部712的轴向外侧面71b接合的部分。在本实施方式中,与图2的方案同样地,周向上的长度相同的四个按压部724与四个非按压部725沿着周向相互错开地配置。需要说明的是,按压部724与非按压部725只要沿着周向相互错开地配置,则其长度以及数量没有特别限定。
按压部724是在将外方侧密封构件7向外圈2的外方侧嵌合面2c压入时被压入夹具朝向轴向内侧按压的部分。另一方面,非按压部725是不被压入夹具按压的部分。
在将与按压部724接合的轴向外侧面71b的部分设为第一接合面71e(参照图7),将与非按压部725接合的轴向外侧面71b的部分设为第二接合面71f(参照图8)时,第一接合面71e与第二接合面71f共面。并且,按压部724的轴向上的厚度T5(参照图7)比非按压部725的轴向上的厚度T6(参照图8)薄。也就是说,非按压部725比按压部724向轴向外侧突出。换言之,在轴向上,非按压部725为凸部,按压部724为凹部。从回弹量的观点出发,按压部724的厚度T5在保证强度的范围内越薄越优选。
在车轮用轴承装置1的组装工序中,外方侧密封构件7在组装轮毂圈3前组装于外圈2。使用压入夹具将外方侧密封构件7压入环状空间S的外方侧开口端。压入夹具将外方侧密封构件7的按压部724压入至规定位置。因此,与上述的密封环62的情况同样地能够降低回弹量,从而能够提高外方侧密封构件7的轴向上的组装精度。其结果是,外方侧密封构件7的性能的不均降低。
接下来,使用图9以及图10对另一方案的外方侧密封构件7A的结构进行说明。图9以及图10中的外方侧密封构件7A的截面的位置分别是与图8以及图9相同的位置。
外方侧密封构件7A具有芯骨71A和弹性构件72A。芯骨71A在第一接合面71g(参照图9)位于比第二接合面71h(参照图10)靠轴向外侧的位置这一点上与上述的芯骨71不同。换言之,在轴向上,第一接合面71g部分为凸部,第二接合面71h部分为凹部。
弹性构件72A在按压部726的轴向外侧面72a(参照图9)与非按压部727的轴向外侧面72b(参照图10)共面这一点上与上述的弹性构件72不同。也就是说,按压部726的轴向上的厚度T7(参照图9)比非按压部727的轴向上的厚度T8(参照图10)薄。通过这样的外方侧密封构件7A,也能够获得与上述相同的效果。
以上,对于本实施方式的车轮用轴承装置1而言,对在轮毂圈3的外周直接形成有滚动体5的内侧轨道面3d的第三代结构的车轮用轴承装置进行了说明,但并不限定于此,例如,也可以是在轮毂圈3压入固定有一对内圈4的内圈旋转的第二代结构。另外,上述的实施方式仅示出了本发明的代表性的方案,在不脱离本发明的要点的范围内能够进行各种变形来实施。
产业上的可利用性
本发明能够利用于车轮用轴承装置。

Claims (5)

1.一种车轮用轴承装置,其特征在于,
所述车轮用轴承装置具备:
外侧构件,其在内周具有双列外侧轨道面;
内侧构件,其由轮毂圈以及至少一个内圈构成,且在外周具有与所述双列外侧轨道面对置的双列内侧轨道面,所述轮毂圈在外周具有沿轴向延伸的小径台阶部,所述至少一个内圈压入所述轮毂圈的小径台阶部;
双列滚动体,其以滚动自如的方式收容在所述内侧构件与所述外侧构件各自的轨道面间;以及
密封构件,其将通过所述外侧构件和所述内侧构件形成的环状空间的开口端封堵,
所述密封构件具有与所述外侧构件嵌合的芯骨、以及与所述芯骨接合的弹性构件,
所述弹性构件具有:
按压部,其与作为所述芯骨的轴向外侧面的一部分的第一接合面接合,且在向所述外侧构件压入所述密封构件时被朝向轴向内侧按压;以及
非按压部,其与作为所述芯骨的轴向外侧面的一部分且与所述第一接合面相邻的第二接合面接合,且在向所述外侧构件压入所述密封构件时不被朝向轴向内侧按压,
所述按压部的轴向上的厚度比所述非按压部的轴向上的厚度薄。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车轮用轴承装置,其特征在于,
所述第一接合面与所述第二接合面共面,
所述非按压部比所述按压部向轴向外侧突出。
3.根据权利要求1所述的车轮用轴承装置,其特征在于,
所述第一接合面位于比所述第二接合面靠轴向外侧的位置,
所述按压部的轴向外侧面与所述非按压部的轴向外侧面共面。
4.根据权利要求1~3中任一项所述的车轮用轴承装置,其特征在于,
所述密封构件是将通过所述外侧构件和所述内侧构件形成的环状空间中的内方侧开口端封堵的内方侧密封构件。
5.根据权利要求1~3中任一项所述的车轮用轴承装置,其特征在于,
所述密封构件是将通过所述外侧构件和所述内侧构件形成的环状空间中的外方侧开口端封堵的外方侧密封构件。
