本发明涉及一种压箔,特别是一种热压箔,该压箔包括一个载片和一个能从载片上分离出去的转印组合层,且该转印组合层从载片开始至少包括一个透明的保护漆层、一个包括装饰或防伪单元并至少由一层形成的装饰层结构、以及一个将转印组合层固定到承印物的胶粘层。
这类压箔,特别是热压箔,已知有多种不同的实施形式。在使用中,通过热和压力的作用将转印组合层从载片转印到承印物上。相应的转印组合层则借助胶粘层粘到承印物上,该胶粘层通常是热粘合剂或是利用幅射硬化的粘合剂,目前,在大量的使用情况中,并不是转印组合层的全部表面都需要转印到承印物上,需要转印的只是转印组合层的某些局部,例如通过印刷方法以其本身已知的方式制入转印组合层的装饰单元等。热压箔也在很大范围中使用,特别是将防伪标志印到例如有价证券(象钞票、***、票证等)或其它需要防护的物件。这时,重要的是仅只有关的防伪标志或转印层上与防伪标志对应的那一区域是脱开载片并固定到承印物上的。
迄今,如果转印组合层只需要以局部区域方式转印到承印物上,通常采用的方法是通过适当构形的印模或压箔冲头将压箔压到承印物上。因而所需的压力只是在冲头范围内作用到转印组合层,这就使得转印组合层上只是被冲头作用的那一部分粘到承印物上,而转印组合层的其余部分可以和载片一起拉走。
上述方法有一些缺点。一方面,已经发现,当生产大量制品(例如印制钞票)所需要的高操作速度以及随之而来的大转印量要想通过简单的方式达到时,只能使用滚压方法将压箔转印到承印物上。这时,如果借助适当升高辊子表面的某些区域使辊子表面形成若干单独的冲头时,就会遇到困难,对这种操作方法,问题还会发生在将被转印的装饰或防伪单元与转印操作中相应使用的冲头区如何对准。
如果只是转印组合层的一些区域需要借助冲头从载片转印到承印物上去,还会发生下面的问题,即只有十分特定的材料才能用于转印组合层。实际上,必须这样选择材料,使得转印组合层沿冲头的边缘能整齐地撕开;除此以外还必须保证,借助特定选择位于转印层和载片之间的脱膜层,使得转印组合层在被转印到承印物的区域上能容易地与载片脱离,但在其他的区域上它与载片又能良好地粘在一起,尤其是,在这种操作中,如果温度与压力条件不很准确,迄今为止经常发生转印组合层不能沿冲头件周边整齐地撕开的情况。另外一个不足之处在于,容易沿着冲头边缘撕开的那些转印组合层通常都是机械强度低的;在例如防伪标志的情况,常都是机械强度低的;在例如防伪标志的情况,同样地也在装饰单元的情况,这就意味着相应制品经常在经过不长的使用时间后,防伪标志等物就会由于机械作用而被破坏。
此外,为达到在这方面的改进还曾设法使用过不带胶粘层的压箔,这时,胶粘剂是贴在承印物上需要被装饰的部位,转印组合层就借助这个胶粘剂与压箔分离。当采用这种技术时,虽然可以使用平滑的辊子操作以加压或加热。然而,与使用冲头件的情况一样,仍然存在有关转印组合层的材料构成问题,转印组合层在这种技术中仍然必须具有容易撕下的性质,而这重又导致低的机械强度。有关胶粘剂与装饰或防伪单元不完全匹配的问题在这种方法中也未被克服。
因此,本发明的目的是设计一种压箔,特别是热压箔,以便不需特别的措施就有可能将转印组合层上单独分立的各部位(特别是具有装饰或防伪单元的形式)以精确的匹配关系转印到承印物上;在此过程中为转印到承印物上不需要具有特殊构形的冲头,而辊子或圆柱体都可用于该过程。不仅如此,在依据本发明的技术中,也可使转印组合是具有基本上更稳定的特性,因而机械强度更大。
为达到这个目的,按本发明提出建议,本说明书开头部分所说的这类压箔,特别是热压箔,具有这样的结构:至少是胶粘层只以局部区域方式制作,并与转印组合层中的同样仅局部区域存在的另一层或仅局部区域方式制的装饰及防伪单形成匹配关系。
因此,有关依据本发明的压箔的一个重要考虑是,由于胶粘层只以局部区域方式贴敷,本发明就保证了转印组合层仅在胶粘层出现的那些地方才能粘到承印物上。于是,压力是否有可能作用到胶粘层以外的转印组合层上就不重要了。无论如何,转印组合层上只有与胶粘层重合的区域才能够粘到承印物上。这就意味着,将转印组合层贴敷到承印物的操作,基本上与用于加压或者加热组合层的工具的形式无关。因此,当使用依据本发明的压箔时,就有可能例如使用辊子或圆柱体以连续方式为承印物提供局部区域的装饰或标牌或其他类似物。依据本发明的压箔的另一个优点还在于以局部区域方式出现的胶粘层和转印组合层中应被转印的区域之间是不难达到良好的对准的,因为组成转印组合层的各层及胶粘层通常是用印刷方法贴敷的。众所周知,当使用印刷方法时,互相叠置的各层之间良好的对准并不构成任何困难。依据本发明的技术的另一优越性在于,依据本发明的压箔也能用于具有十分粗糙的表面的承印物(例如纸),并具有极好的粘着性及物理化学稳定性。
与先有的常规技术相比,采用依据本发明的压箔向承印物转印的工具方面显示了很大的优越性,特别是对转印层中预定向承印物转印区域的定界的精确性方面也显示了很大的优越性。不仅如此,由于胶粘层只以局部区域方式设置,依据本发明的压箔在大量的情况下允许使用机械性能更加稳定的几层以构成转印组合层。在这种状态下,即使在转印过程中转印组合层中已转印到承印物的区域的边界不够整齐干净,可能伸出胶粘层的任何转印组合层材料也能在下一步的工作过程中容易地去掉,因为在胶粘层的区域内转印组合层与承印物是牢固粘结的。
为了使转印组合层从载片上容易脱开,在载片和转印组合层之间可以其本身已知的方式设置一个脱膜层。在这一方面,按照本发明,如果脱膜层也以局部区域方式设置并与胶粘层匹配,那将是特别优越的。这种压箔构造就使得,在没有脱膜层的那些区域(这些区域与没有胶粘层的那些区域重合),转印组合层与载片胶粘得比较牢固,因而有助于将转印组合层从被转印的区域撕下或沿此区域的边缘切断。
对于脱膜层只以局部区域方式设置并与胶粘层匹配的情况,依据本发明,保护漆层可以覆盖全部表面面积,形成该保护漆层的漆料与载片在脱膜层覆盖的以外部分粘接良好,这也是有助于在转印组合层中沿被转印区域边缘作到整齐分离的一种措施。
依据本发明,更进一步提出,保护漆层也可仅以局部区域方式设置并与胶粘层匹配。这种实施例尤其有下述优点:它有可能使用机械性能上特别稳定的保护漆层,因为事实上在将组合转印到承印物的过程中,完全用不着撕裂或切断保护漆层。当使用依据本发明的压箔所防护或装饰的承印物或制品需承受高的机械载荷时,例如涉及钞票、自动机和自动售货机用卡等,本实施例特别适用。
最近,经常使用具有光学衍射效应的空间结构,特别是用于防伪标志,因为这种结构较难伪造,并在企图复制它们时给出特定的效果。因此,本发明提出,装饰或防伪单元应当用具有光学衍射效应的空间结构形成,并制作在保护漆层中与载片距离较远的那一边;该结构的位置排列应与胶粘层形成匹配关系。这种防伪标志在透明保护漆层中的另外的安排是众所周知的。然而,一个重要的考虑是,空间结构和胶粘层的匹配安排为空间结构的良好对准和整齐精确的定界准备了条件,并能使该结构,尤其是该结构边缘部位不致磨损绽裂,正是在这些边缘上防伪标电的全貌及下一步的加工(例如印到贵重文件上)会受到不利的影响。
为了改进空间结构的可见性,保护漆层上具有空间结构的那一面可以以其本身已知的方式加上涂层,该涂层与保护漆层的光学特性不同,它用反光材料特别是金属制成。
虽然,依据本发明,空间结构与胶粘层通常是以匹配关系排列的,而使涂层覆盖全部表面面积仍是特别可取的,这尤其是因为在全部表面面积上施加涂层从本质上说更为容易,特别是可以免除另外的措施或工序。无论如何,在全部表面面积上施加涂层一般不会引起任何问题,因为这种涂层的厚度是如此的小,以致在压箔贴敷到承印物时该涂层能沿胶粘层区域的边缘可靠地撕开。对下述结论也应正确评价,即在特别高级的压箔中,涂层也可制成局部区域的并与空间结构相匹配,其目的是通过这种方法可以得到诸转印层特别整齐及准确的定界。
最后,依据本发明,保护漆层和/或脱膜层应该从胶粘层和/或装饰或防伪单元所在区域的各边伸出至少0.2mm。保护漆层或者是再加上脱膜层伸出装饰及防伪单元并同时也伸出胶粘层边缘的事实能提供一个有利条件,即在转印过程中,保护漆层能沿其边缘紧密地压在承印物上;在这种情况下,保护漆层的伸出部分通常也能屯承印物良好地粘贴,因为,由于它的厚度的缘故,即使它仅是轻贴上去的,胶粘层在转印过程中无论如何都要受压,因而被向外压向保护漆层边缘的方向。
从下面的依据本发明的三个热压箔实施例的说明并参照附图,还能看出本发明的另外一些特征、细节及优点。
图1到3中的每一图均表示了对应的热压箔的剖面图。
这里必须注意,不同层的厚度并不表示真实尺寸比例。
按照所举的实施例,每一种热压箔都包括一个载片,例如厚度大约为20μm的聚酯薄膜,脱膜层2以局部区域方式或者覆盖全部表面面积方贴在载片1的表面上,脱膜层2的厚度大约是0.01到0.1μm。透明的保护漆层3紧贴脱膜层2的后面,同样可以覆盖全部表面面积(图1及3)或用局部区域方式(图2)。当保护漆层3是贴在全部表面面积上时,它的厚度是0.8到2.5μm,最好是从1.2到1.7μm。另一方面,如果保护漆层3只是在局部区域出现,如图2所示,则它的厚度是从1.5到3.0μm,最好是从2.0到2.5μm,也就是说,当保护漆层3是以局部区域方式或部分方式使用时,它的厚度通常大于使保护漆层覆盖全部表面而积的情况。
在所举的实施例中,为了在被预定转印到承印物的区域上形成防伪标志(也许仅只是了形成装饰物),透明的保护漆层3上制成了具有光学衍射效应的空间或三维结构4。空间结构4是借助适当的原版通过复制或压印而制作在保护漆层的距载片较远的那一表面5上。
为了使空间结构4特别清晰可见,在贴上保护漆层3以及相应的空间结构4制作完成以后,在这个半完成的压箔的全部自由表面加上涂层6,最好是在真空中用蒸汽涂敷的方法上的一层合适反光金属。涂层6的厚度取决于为此目的而采用的材料。如果涂层6的材料是金属,它的厚度是几个量级,更具体地说是50-500,最好是100-200。然而,涂层6也可用光学性质与保护漆层3材料光学性质不同的电介质形成。根据所使用材料的不同,构成涂层6的那一层的厚度当然可以更大一些。
所举各实施例中热压箔的最上面一层(按图中所示)在每一种情况下都是以局部区域方式制作的胶粘层7。胶粘层基本上只设在具有装饰或防伪单元的部位,也就是说,在所举实施例中空间结构4的部位。
通常所使用的胶粘层7的厚度是从3.0到10.0μm,最好是从4.0到6.0μm。
这些独特的实施例(其中以图3所示的被认为在实用情形中最有意义)主要以保护漆层3和脱膜层2所贴敷的区域不同而彼此有所差异。
在图1所示的实施例中,脱膜层2只以局部区域方式制成,更具体地说,只出现在用于在保护漆层3上形成装饰或防伪单元的空间结构4及胶粘层7的区域上。在这方面,图1表明了脱膜层2在各侧都超出空间结构4及胶粘层7一个尺寸a,此尺寸a至少应为0.2mm。
在图2所示的实施例中,和图3的情况一样,脱膜层2覆盖了全部表面面积。与图1的情况相反,保护漆层3是以局部区域方式,更具体地说,是以与胶粘层7对应的方式,只在由空间结构4形成的装饰或防伪单元区域上形成。在另一方面,与图1中的脱膜层2类似,保护漆层3各侧都超出胶粘层7及空间结构4一个尺寸a。在本情况下,尺寸a也应至少为0.2mm。
最后,在图3中,脱膜层2和保护漆层3全部覆盖了全部表面面积。只有胶粘层7只出现在含有空间结构4的应被转印的区域。再次与前一样,胶粘层7相对空间结构4缩回一个至少为0.2mm的尺寸a。
依据所举实施例的各种热压箔的生产可以用从热压箔生产本身所知的方式来实现,在此生产过程,脱膜层2及保护漆层3是按照合适的层厚或分布用印刷方法贴到载片1上的。保护漆层3或者是热塑的,或者含有一种漆,而这种漆在交联后只在一定的幅射效果下或经过一定的时间才能完全硬化。空间结构4是在热效应下借助本来已知的压模压印到热塑的保护漆层之中。如果保护漆层3是一个在一定幅射效果(例如紫外线幅射)下硬化或只是经过一段时间后硬化的漆层,则空间结构4是通过复制方法作用到保护漆层3的表面5上,只要形成漆层3的漆还没有完全硬化。
然后,将对用上述方法半制成的箔加涂层6,例如在真空中用蒸汽涂敷方法加一层厚度适当的铝。这时,涂层6可以覆盖全部表面面积,也可以与空间结构4相匹配地部分覆盖。然后,再一次使用印刷方法,将胶粘层7以局部区域方式贴上。胶粘层7与脱膜层2(图1)、保护漆层3(图2)或空间结构4(图3)的匹配关系是靠对已存在在载片1上的各层进行合适的扫描达到的。为此目的,如果脱膜层2和保护漆层3只以局部区域方式出现,在这些层上应该加上适当的标记色。

在使用过程中,依据本发明的压箔与以局部区域方式制作在其上的胶粘层一起压向承印物;在此操作中,加压步骤可以通过例如钢轮压在全部表面面积上来实现,然而也可以借助分段式轮子实现加压操作。然后,在适当的高压力及适当的温度下,转印组合层(它总的以附图标记8标出,并且至少包括一个保护漆层3、涂层6以及胶粘层7)在脱膜层2的帮助下与载片1脱离;更具体地说,这种脱离仅发生在有胶粘层7的区域。如果,由于保护漆层3的过度稳定,保护漆层3在胶粘层7的边缘区域不能轮廓分明地撕开或分离,则多余的保护漆层3可以通过对转印到承印物上的那部分作适当的机械加工来清除而不会引起严重问题,因为实际上保护漆层上并没有粘到承印物上,原因是在不需要的区域根本没有胶粘层7。但是在正常情况下,并不需要上述额外的操作工作。
如果依据本发明的压箔不是热压箔的形式,而是企图用冷法操作,也就是说,胶粘层在环境温度下已经是粘的,则可以在载片1的距转印组合层8较远的那一边设有适当的涂层,这层涂层在压箔卷起来时可以防止胶粘层7粘到载片1上。
Claims (9)
1.一种压箔,它包括一个载片(1)和一个能与载片分离的转印组合层(8),且该转印组合层从载片(1)开始至少包含一个透明的保护漆层(3)、一个至少由一层形成且包含装饰或防伪单元的装饰层结构(4)、及一个用于将转印组合层固定到承印物的胶粘层(7);
其特征在于:至少胶粘层(7)是仅以局部区域方式制作,并与转印组合层(8)上的也是仅以局部区域方式所设的另一层(3)相匹配,或与转印组合层(8)上的仅以局部区域方式出现的装饰或防伪单元(4)相匹配。
2.依据权利要求1所述的压箔,其特征在于:在载片(1)及转印组合层(8)之间设置了一个脱膜层(2)。
3.依据权利要求2所述的压箔,其特征在于:脱膜层(2)仅以局部区域方式设置,且与胶粘层(7)呈匹配关系。
4.依据权利要求3所述的压箔,其特征在于:脱膜层(2)在所有各侧均超出胶粘层(7)区域和/或装饰或防伪单元(4)至少0.2mm。
5.依据权利要求3或4所述的压箔,其特征在于:保护漆层(3)由一种漆料形成,该漆料对脱膜层(2)覆盖区以外的载片(1)有良好的粘着性。
6.依据权利要求中1所述的压箔,其特征在于:装饰或防伪单元由空间结构(4)形成,该结构具有光学衍射效应并且制作在保护漆层(3)的距载片(1)较远的那一面(5),该空间结构的位置还与胶粘层(7)形成匹配关系。
7.依据权利要求6所述的压箔,其特征在于:保护漆层(3)的带空间结构(4)的那一面(5)具有涂层(6),该涂层的光学特性与保护漆层(3)的光学特性不同。
8.依据权利要求7所述的压箔,其特征在于:涂层(6)由反光材料制成,该反光材料包括金属。
9.依据权利要求7或8所述的压箔,其特征在于:涂层(6)覆盖全部表面面积。
